Anybody got the P7N?

Ok,
I can't believe I'm even contemplating this, especially since I'm not certain the 770i set is that big of an upgrade....but I guess I'm a glutten for punishment and am always looking to upgrade, even with my setup....lol
Anyway, has anyone got the P7N yet? And if so, what do you think of it? Did they fix alot of the issues the P6N had?
Particularly, the network controller issue? Are you getting better performance or overclocks?

I cant get in my Icloud account on Iphone, Mac, Ipad, says password wrong started 1 hour ago, anybody got the same problem?

I just tried to get into my mails and Icloud.com and it keeps sayin that my password is incorrect but it worked just fine an hour ago.

Anybody got the Vga out working in Bootcamp yet?

I would like to use my nice big 26" screen while in bootcamp. I know it hasn't worked with the vga out. Has anyone got a fix?
Also the tv takes multiple inputs, Dvi and S-video, so is there another way to get this to work?

No problems, although I can't see anything special that I'm doing that could help!
I've got my TFT monitor connected via it's VGA cable to the DVI/VGA adapter supplied with my MBPro.
I go into display properties, settings tab, and change the resolution for the main display to match that of the external display (1024x768 if it's a projector, 1280x1024 in the case of my monitor). I've not found a way of running the MBPro and the external display at different resolutions yet, but that's no big deal for me.
Now I click on the Advanced button and then click on the Displays tab with the ATI logo on it.
This brings up a dialogue with 4 displays on it. 2 Monitors in the top row, the MBPro's panel bottom left and something labeled FPD in the bottom right. Each of the displays has a power button. I need to turn on the monitor in the top right to output the display to the external monitor.

Anybody got the Nokia IPSEC VPN to work?

I am about to have a go at this.
It's quite weird how Nokia implemented it. You start here

There is no user interface at all in the phone. You install their VPN app from the store. For the 808, this app is "not available" so one has to "obtain it via the usual means" (what a waste of time). Then you have to download a VPN config app for the PC, which is about 50MB and downloads incredibly slowly (2-3 hours). Then you download a .vpn template and edit that. Then you transfer that to the phone.
I am using a Draytek 2955 router which definitely supports IPSEC but getting that to work was an absolute b*astard, and I got it working only between two of these routers (site-site VPN) and by strictly following a Draytek app note.
There used to be a Nokia employee here who helped somebody to get it working but he is now showing as retired.

I am also very keen to learn how to get VPN done on my E72, though E72 does have built-in VPN support (at least per Nokia).
Have you done everything on the phone side, including downloading and installing the VPN app, and transferring a properly configured VPN template to the phone?

Anybody got the 500GB Hard Drive?

Hi,
I'm buying a 24" iMac shortly but i was wondering if there is any kind of performance hit by opting for the 500gb HD?
I've heard of cases where bigger hard drives make machines run slower so i'd like some users experiences of the 24" imac with the 500gb hard drive if possible.
250gb is not big enough for me.

Mark... I recently took ownership of an imac 24 with the 500 GB HD. I considered holding to the 250, but wanted to be set for a long term relationship. I can't speak to the "speed comparison", but I'm certainly satisfied thus far with the performance of my 2GB mem system.

In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
Navigate to the Music folder. On my 'pod, the full path is
Portable Media Devices\NAME of IPOD (F:)\iPod_Control\Music
Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.
And you're done! The iPod music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized."

Anybody got the ATi X1900XT yet? Is it loud?

Iwas just wondering if anyone's recieved their Ati Radeon X1900XT graphics card yet?
I've just ordered one and i'm looking at 6 weeks plus but i'm more interested on users opinions of the card, mainly how noisy or loud the card is?
If it's loud like past Ati cards i've had (AGP 9800 for example) it would be too noisy for me and i would probably cancel the card.

Dead quiet? I have an ATI X1900XTX in my quiet PC (quiet case, fans, cpu cooler, etc) and with the stock cooler, it was very noticible even when runing idle. When cranked up with Half Life 2 it sounded like a friggin dust buster. If everything else about the PC wasn't quiet, I doubt I'd notice it so much.
I quickly bought an Arctic Accelero X2 GPU cooler and its VERY quiet now.

The Arctic cooler does add height to the card. I haven't verified whether it will fit in the Mac Pro.

Anybody got replace the body of e90 or having prob...

i've heard about 3rd new case format for e90 to fix the grease mark problem and the will fix your phone under warranty.

after i saw that thread, i rush to nokia care yesterday and ask them about what i know about new case format.
they know nothing about it and they told me that as long as the inner screen is work properly they won't fix it for me althought the surface of innerscreen was damage by grease mark.
anybody got this problem?

My E90 case and screen was changed under warranty at the Nokia my local Nokia service centre. Location south Finland.
The screen had become quite badly marked..scratches not just greasy marks.
The screen now (according to the Nokia service guy) has a new harder surface. The case was also changed it now has a raised step/level that runs from the camera button to the recorder button. I now do not get as many marks on my screen from the key pad. Those that do occur wipe off easily.

I clicked on Sky go app to install on Sat .It is now Monday night and the app Icon is greyed out and displaying "waiting". Anybody got any ideas?

Often, rebooting, or deleting the waiting app and re-installing, will do the trick.

I would try to Restore in DFU Mode. Connect iPhone to iTunes, hold both Home and Power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release Power button, keep holding Home button until iTunes tells you it has found iPhone in Recovery Mode, this takes about 20 seconds time. If the Screen is Black this is DFU Mode. If the screen shows iTunes Screen this is Recovery Mode. If you get Recovery Mode try to restore anyway. If fails again then definitely try to get DFU Mode, it may take several tries.

One of your kids made an in app purchase that you did not know about. Some apps include in app purchase and games do this quite often. The game itself is free, but you might have to purchase additional items to enhance the game or to unlock certain levels.
You can prevent this from happening in Settings>General>Restrictions>In App Purchases>Off.
