Anybody having Verizon issues this morning????

My phone is nothing more than an MP3 player this morning, no data, no voice, nothing. I have anywhere from 1-4 bars of signal, but cannot make a call, not even to voicemail. My data signal is completely gone, and nothing connects. I have rebooted the phone and pulled the battery also. My wife's Continuum and my mother-in-law's basic phone aren't even working...
I am in the southern tier of New York.

No, it is fine, it was a local outage of Verizon's, and came back later in the day.

Myriad of SharePoint Online Issues This Morning

Hello,
I am having issues with SharePoint this morning and was wondering if anyone else was having similar issues.
Everything was working fine over the weekend, but this morning we're experiencing these issues:
1 - Nothing on the ribbon loads. When you click on something (Page, Publish, List, Item, etc...) it just displays "Working on it..."
2 - Search Results Webparts are not loading/displaying. CQWP still load fine.
3 - InfoPath forms are not displaying. Neither the link to the form itself or the form webpart display.
4 - Submissions into lists aren't functioning. We have a request calendar. No one can complete/submit any additions or approvals.
5 - The "Edit Page" from the gear cog isn't working. I cannot edit any pages on the site.
6 - External lists are not loading/displaying. BDL Webparts with external content load fine.
7 - Items with ellipses are not popping up the additional menu to edit, view, etc... Nothing happens when you click on them.
I have tried on IE9, IE11, Chrome, and Firefox and all have the same issues. I put in a ticket with Microsoft around 2.5 hours ago with no contact so far. This is critical to our environment, I would hope something like this would be escalated in their support
system.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?

Search isn't working for me, images aren't loading, etc.

Issues this morning ???

All of the sudden NONE of my secured area passwords are letting our distirbutors login, I tested with one of my own I use and same thing..... They were working early this morning and then reports from the distributors started coming in, so I retested and sure enough, known login/passes are not working any more
Is there something up with the system this morning?

Having issues this morning.

I am unable to dial out or send text. This is frustrating. Verizon could have warned us first!

I was hoping I wasn't the only one going through this. Cuz I was just on the phone with someone, and then the phone cut itself off. When I cut the phone back on and tried to call that person back, it hangs up 3 seconds after I dial the number. Then I come here and see that EVERYBODY is having this problem... So I'm a bit relieved, but then the issue is we wanna know WHY this is happening, and what needs to be done to fix it... cuz this is the wrong day for this "Outage" to happen.

Yahoo! Mail issues this morning 07-22-2011

Is anyone else having issues with Y! mail or any other Pop mail on their iPhones?

Ok, got it fixed. I had to go into Inbox on iPhone (which was blank with no messages) and do a search to a known message that was present in Inbox (I confirmed via Yahoo mail on computer) then open the message and poof, it all started working. Not sure what was causing problem but it seemed to flush whatever problem it was on the POP server. Doesn't Apple host their own POP servers for the big e-mail providers, e.g. Yahoo, Gmail, etc.?

Email Connection Issues This Morning - Anyone Else...

Looking at the service status page there is no mention of any current issues (unless I'm looking in the wrong place) but I'm struggling to access my email today. The email login page is only appearing about once out of ten attempts and when it does finally load and I try and login it fails, with an error message asking for my full email address...which is what I was using.
I'll leave it for a few hours...but wondered how geographical this issue is. I'm in Gloucester.

I'm not able to send or recieve emails from Verizon this moring using Windows Live Mail. I've rebooted my PC but still problem pesists. Below is the message I receive. Is there an issue with Verizon mail this morning?

Changed outbound server to smtp.verizon.net, SSL/TLS, port 465, per Verizon instructions at http://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/fiosinternet/email/setup+and+use/questionsone/86...
Still no luck. BTW I can ping outgoing.verizon.net, but smtp.verizon.net appears DEAD ("request timed out").

Bought 5s this morning. sales person could not get touch id to work and said I could do it later. Fingerprints is grayed out in settings. Help!

You have to have a passcode enabled first. I was having trouble with this as well but I figured it out. I think it's because you will need the passcode to modify the fingerprint settings. Y'know, for security.

Unable to download Oracle9i JDeveloper this morning

Anybody having trouble seeing iPhone using Windows 8?

Just got a new computer with Windows 8 - it doesn't see my iPhone. Anybody having trouble like this? McAffee was preloaded...does this conflict with iPhones?

While anti-virus software can have some affect on the iPhone, normally it does not. A number of individuals have written regarding having trouble with Windows 8 computers "seeing" the iPhone. Of course, it depends on what you are doing. What are you trying to do for the computer to "see" the phone? Is it not being connected in iTunes? Are you trying to import photos? The only time Windows Explorer "sees" the phone is when there are photos in the Camera Roll. Any other time, you cannot connect to the phone to see anything else.

I'm sure the pros will be along to ask what your settings are. Although this may not be exactly helpful, I did find compressor to be much more robust for burning DVDs. This could partially be because it includes a template to convert you movie into correct DVD format. I was quite pleased with the outcome after multiple failed attempts using FCPX alone.

Verizon mades changes in the coding and now Windows Phone 7 is having data issues!!!

Starting about 3 weeks ago, I stopped receiving text messages and even worse stopped receiving calls yet alone my voicemails. I have changed not one thing to my phone, everything is exactly the way it was before the issues arised. Now I have to trick my phone to receive my data by dialing into my voicemail... And then what do you know, 30 text mesages, 12 voicemails!!!
The voicemails wont even tell you the date or time stamp (the time the voicemail was received). After numerous *228 and talking with level 2 over the holidays, I see a huge article on multiple news sites stating Verizon is having data issues... Dropped calls, loss of data, no signal while all our phone keep showing full bars and 3g. Verizon stated its only happening on there 4gLTE system and not 3G but thats a load of crap.
All one has to do is a google search of loss of text messages or voicemails on Verizon and you will see 100's up to 1000's of users like you and me all experiencing the same issues. And not just with Windows Phone 7, but with there baby Driod and iPhone as well.
What really ****** me off is that Verizon loves to play the blame game or pass the buck game. Hard Reset your phone and that will solve the problem... Yeah Right. If this was our OS and we updated a driver that changed the OS in the background I can see that being the solution. But for the 100's or 1000's of users that go to work daily, check there emails and text daily, and haven't changed one thing on the phone... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Now I read an articile for someone extermely close to Microsoft stating that Verizon turned down Nokia's new 4GLTE phone because they have no faith in the operating system and I have to think that maybe behind the scenes Verizon is trying to force us off Windows Phone 7 platform with data issue behind the scene and try to get us all into the Droid Platform which they make 50% of the cash off the phone just like the iPhone...
This is a joke, and I am really starting to think about going to ATT and getting the HTC Titan or the new Nokia 900. I have already research a 3 party app that will allow you to backup and restore your phone. And just read that Microsoft just put out an ad for backup, restore and cloud backup programmers for this latest feature.
Verizon the games need to stop, Verizon you need to stand behind this Platform, Verizon you need to provide better service for all us 3G users!!!
