On the right hand side there will be a button that says Get Adobe Flash Player. Click on that and you will be taken to a page that will allow you to download the most up to date version of flash supported by your system. Then simply follow the directions on that page to install.

Flash player work with Safari, but not with Internet Explorer

My flash player had a problem so I uninstalled it. I had a problem downloading the player with Internet Explorer, so I successfully download it with Safari. The player works fine with Safari, but I cannot get it to work with Internet Explorer 8.
I used to have the Flash Player 10 Active X (10.1.85.3), which I had uninstalled.
I now have the Flash Player 10 Plugin (10.1.85/3)
The problem I had downloading the player with IE was that the "allow Active X" information bar never appeared and I was unable to see any download at all.
How do I get flash to work with my Internet Explorer 8 (8.0.7600.16385)?

This adobe web site worked easily for me, when I needed to install adobe flash JUST for IE8.

All you need to do is choose your OS in the top window, then in the bottom window choose "Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for Windows Internet Explorer", and voila, that is what adobe installs!! Give it a go. I had problems too, before I foud this. Diligent

Flash Player Problems with Mac Power PC

I have tried all the suggestions on this forum about how to install Flash Player for a Power PC Mac running 10.5.8. I still get the notice to install Flash Player. Is there something else that could be wrong? I ran the debugger, don't have any firewalls running etc. I finally got it to download and install but where is it going?

I'm just gonna keep updating this as I can't really do anything else. I've found several more questions like mine with no answers. I did find one with an answer that mentions that it may be the video card acting up, so I'm gonna post a screenshot of my information.

I posted this question on the 25th, and have yet to receive an answer. Because of this crashing problem, I can't do anything on my computer outside of play solitaire, and hang around Adobe communities looking for an answer. I've found several questions like mine (Mac, firefox, flash player constantly crashing) that have no answers either, and I'm getting upset. I've been floating around Mozilla and Apple's help sections, and there's no answer there either. How do I get an answer? Or is there just no fix for this issue and Flash player doesn't work on mac anymore? Is there another program that I can use in place of Flash player? I would very much like an answer, response, or anything cause I stuck here till then. Thank you for you time.

Hello,
Since last week, Adobe Flash Player has not worked on my computer at all. I can't watch any videos, and any webpage using Flash for the ads crashes. I tried using Adblock initially thinking that the ads were the problem because they have frozen my computer in the past. This did nothing, so I went through the trouble shooting guide for Flash on Mozilla's website. I removed all plugins, disabled hardware acceleration, and even uninstalled Firefox and Flash player then reinstalled them again. It still keeps crashing, and I don't know what to do anymore. Is there anything that can be done? Thank you for your time.

Well, i sent back my iMac with the fusion drive and i going to order an iMac with flash storage. What i can say is that : with my older iMac (2008) the Scarlett is working fine under Mavericks and Logic pro X. So i had a doubt concerning USB 3 or Fusion Drive. Unfortunately, users of Focusrite, RME, Apogee etc are all experiencing issues with the Fusion Drive. We apologise for this and are working with Apple to reach a resolution.
Both Scarlett and Saffire Pro are compatible with Mavericks, bar for the Fusion Drive issue which we have become recently aware of.

Not works means you get a blank screen as the webpage; works is when you have to allow Flash Player to run "outside of protected" mode several times to get the website to come up.

I would like to start a discussion on how one of the "leading" software companies in the WORLD cannot provide a better way for their software (which I assume they want everyone to use) to be used in conjunction with windows 8.1. ADOBE no longer provides support for those who don't pay to be here, they don't have a reasonably intelligent way to fix problems for non computer minded people, they want you to go through and change this setting or that (ya, I've seen the page and done the crap they tell you to do to fix the flash player so it works and... it works... for a little while then you wind up with a fkn green screen after another day or two... this is complete BS you shouldn't have to unfk things so they work every few days... you shouldn't have to deal with crap like this... I AM GOING TO USE VLC PLAYER OR SOMETHING ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF MY VIDEO PLAYER NEEDS IN MY DIFFERENT BROWSERS FROM NOW ON... Why won't flash player work with ios10.5.8?

I get a message saying "Adobe Flash Player was blocked because it is out of date". Then when I go to dl update, I get a "failure to launch" message.

Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

External DVD rw, will it work with Mac mini 1.83 intel duo 2....NEW USER

I bought a refurb mini 1.83 dual core 2 last week it has leopard installed, but no superdrive I have an external dvd rw via USB2 will this work with Leopard I dont have any drivers for it(BUT ITS MAC COMPATABLE), but after reading some questions in this forum I am lead to believe it will just work...is this truue? also will it work with Idvd ?

Without knowing the make and model of the drive it's impossible to tell for sure if it will work, but more than likely it will if the drive is claimed to be Mac compatible. You may need to download the free utility 'Patchburn' from http://www.patchburn.de/ because some drives require it. Try if without first however, and you may find that the drive works natively in the Finder and iDVD. If not, install Patchburn and test it out.

I wondered if anyone has heard about the potential friendliness of Creative Suite CS4 with the new Mac OS, 10.7. Anyone?

I would contact Adobe Tech Support about that. It seems that new editions of Apple OSes sometimes lose compatibility with legacy software. Adobe might only be able to tell you about products that are in their current lifecycle and I'm not sure if CS4 has reached its EOL (end of life) yet.
