Anybody please help me with my ipod touch
OKAY , SO I DECIEDED TO OPEN UP MY IPOD ONE DAY AND FIX MY HOME BUTTON, BUT WHEN I CLOSED IT THE SCREEN WAS WHITE AND I COULD STILL TOUCCH THE SCREEN AND IT WOULD WORK AND I WOULD GET THE NOISES FOR MY NONFICATOIN BUT NOW I TRIED OPENING IT AND FIXING IT AND NOW I CANT TOUCH THE SCREEN WHERE IT WOULD CLICK AND I CANT HEAR MY NONFICATIONS AND MY HOME BUTTON DOESNT WORK AND IVE ALREADY RESTORED MY IPOD AND I CANT RESET IT CAUSE MY HOME BUTTON DOESNT WORK NOT EVEN WHEN I OPEN THE IPOD AND CLICK IT. SO IF ANYBODY CAN HELP PLEASE DO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I'm not an audio professional, just a student wanting to quality-record lectures.
I understood 4G ipod touch only accepts mono recordings, which is fine with me (it's just for voice...).
Now, what external microphones are compatible with my ipod touch (running iOS 5.0.1.) for improving audio recording?
Would adding adding a deadcat fuzzy be helpful (maybe it'll reduce the recording's size?).

Someone PLEASE help me. My iPod touch shuffles all my music!
I need help! My iPod won't stop shuffling! So here's what I do . 1. Open Music. 2. Pick an artist. 3. Pick an album. 4. Pick the song at the top of the list.
Now after the song is over, it should play the next song down on the list, right? But it never does! It picks another random song on the album! Can I never listen to an album in the order it's meant to be played? It's madness! And it does the same thing with playlists or anything else. Please help me!Turn off shuffle:

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. If defect, within warranty (it should be because of when you purchased it), and not abused Apple will exchange it.

I recently bought I new iPod Touch 32gb, and It won't regognize on my computer (Mac Book Pro) I had the same problem with my previous touch but I shrugged it off as old age. any suggestions on what to do?
Well since it has not been charging on multiple computers i would take a look at replacing the usb cable. Something could not be connecting right or just needs to be replaced. If this has already been done it is starting to sound like a battery issue with the ipod.

Hi there, I have a Problem, when I connected my iPod mini with my computer It said I have to update it to the lastest software, I downloaded the iPod udater 2005-11-17, when I did so, the computer perfectly read my ipod, it showed exactly it's name and the memory I had in songs, I tried to update it, but later it said that it couldn't write over the firmware or something likke that, later, I connected it again and it couldn't read it, it showed my iPod i gray color (my iPod is gold) and in name and memory it said N/A, what can I do, every time I connect it is the same, please help me

Can somebody please help me with my ipod plan??
I have a Product Replacement Plan for two years on my 1st generation ipod touch. I bought it December 2007 and I just recently lost it November 2008. But before I lost it, in September 2008 I had to use my replacement plan to get another ipod so the serial number that is on my receipt would be different but I do have the geek squad receipt from when they gave me another one.How could I go by getting another one?? Would I be able to pay a deductible but not the full amount to get another one even though I have a two year protection plan on the ipod?? Also if there is a process to get another, which would be the best way of doing that and does Apple give a plan that does cover stolen products??

Try the standard fixes in order:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home

PLEASE HELP!!! Ipod Touch Wifi connection problem
My 1gen Ipod touch has to be directly ontop of my router to even detect/connect to the internet. I have tried all the obvious fixes- Restore, hard restore, resetting the network settings, pretty much everything. If I walk 5 feet away from any router (tried multiple) it drops signal. I cannot find ANY help, and have been searching the web for 2 days litterally. ANY help or suggestions would be much appriciated!!!! Thanks in advance!
I know you said you tried everything, so forgive me if you've already done these things too. I'm just trying to brainstorm with you.
Go to "Settings - WiFi" and tap the blue arrow on the right of your WiFi name and choose forget this network.
Then go to "Settings - General - Reset" and do a "Reset Network".
Power your router off and then on.
Have you tried changing the channel your wifi broadcasts on? Perhaps there's a conflict with some other wireless devices such as phones.
Also be sure you have the latest firmware for your router.
Can other wireless devices connect to this router? Can your ipod connect in a Starbucks or some other wifi place?

Why can't I restore my ipod touch 2g? I have deleted most of my things on my ipod too.
All error codes related to the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with an error ending in 11 are hardware malfunctions, either do to a faulty cable, or a loose connection. Check the connections (between the iPod and the computer), as well as any tears in the cable.
You may need to use a newer cable, or get the iPod repaired. Drop by an Apple store and see if you can restore at one of their computers.
