Custom PKGBUILD, [extra] PKGBUILD, [testing] PKGBUILD, all throw the same error:

Any idea what is going on here?

I have resolved the problem!!
I noticed that as iMovie starts it loads varios things and runs normally until it starts to load videos from iPhoto. Now this seems to be the problem which has only occurred since the last iPhoto update.
There is clearly a conflict between iPhoto (701.64) videos and iMovie 9.0.8.
How did I resolve the problem:
I have removed all of my 275 movies that were in iPhoto and put them in a new folder My Videos within the existing Pictures folder, thus making them visible when searching for videos in iMovie to import. A bit of a job but resolved the problem completely.
No need to reboot or anything. Just click Ignore if you get a text box reminding you theat there was a problem last time you started iMovie.
Next time you import any video dont put it into iPhoto but your custom folder.
I know know how frustrating this has been but I find iMovie quite adequate for editing most things and use a sports analysis software to look at edited clips. I did not want to buy anything else.
Come on Apple sort out this conflict please and make iPhoto and iMovie friends again!!

How to Deploy after successful Building by CBS

Hello Experts.
I have developed a TRACK in NWDI 7.01 SP8 for Deploying on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3.
I have choosen 3 Runtime-Systems in the CMS Landscape Configurator:
- Development
- Consolidation
- Production
The central Build of the CBS was now successful.
My 2 Standard-SCs (SAP_BUILD_TOOL_730, J2EE_ENGINE_FACADE_730) and my Activity are now in queue of the consolidation system.
When I click on the tap "Development", there is nothing (that's clear, because I have already checked-in my 2 SCs in the Development System).
Now: Can anybody explain me, how I can deploy my Application (JSP) on Development-System ?
I thought, it will be deployed automatically after the successful build in the CBS, but it isn't so

For all the others:
1) After successful Deployment by the CBS, you have to wait some minutes, then your application gets depoyed automatically on your specified Runtime-System in CMS -> Landscape Configurator
2) To check, if you have configured your Runtime-Systems correct, please go to:
- CMS -> Landscape Configurator -> Track Data -> Runtime Systems
- Type In: Deploy Port, Deploy Port, Deploy User, Deploy Password (Remember: For 7.3 - Systems, there is no SDM, but a Deploy.Controller)
- Click on "View/Edit Deployment Substitution Parameters"
=> If you have configured your Runtime-System(s) right, you can see Variable Name(s) and Value(s), which get added automatically

Get the error about it not being activated properly so i tried to log an online support ticket twice on two seperate days but get another error saying sorry we can't process this request now try later. Very frustrated, my son has a $20 voucher from Christmas he can' t use.

Anthony, thank you very much - this works, though I thought I had tried your process previously without success. I've tried so many things who knows. I've had zero luck going with the Send to Compressor or Export Using Compressor Settings under the Share menu. I'm also finding Compressor 4 to be a real dog on my system even though I have a brand new quad core machine with 8G of RAM. Prior to receiving your post I did come up with a different work process. Using Export Movie from FCP X and then loading the result in Compressor 3 works flawlessly. Thanks again!

Changes not showing after successfully building up.

I am new to the forum and also a new novice in Flex.
I have written an application. I have a page called
SchedAppointments.mxml, well, after writing the code and building
the project successfully the page was displayed successfully as per
requirements. After that, I made certain changes in the page
(SchedAppointments.mxml), then saved it and build it successfully
again. Now the problem is that the changes is not showing in the
browser. What I am viewing in the browser is exactly the same as I
saw before making the new changes.
Can anybody tell me why its happening?

If there are any errors in yur code, FB will not compile
anything new.
Verify that you do not have any errors in the Problems pane.
Then try Menu, Project, Clean.

Has anybody successfully upgraded to OS X 10.8.2?

Today (November 17th, 2012) I've purchased the latest Apple Mac mini (i7). It shipped with OS X 10.8.1.
I wanted to update to the now latest OS X 10.8.2 but unfortunately I can't. It doesn't shop up under Updates in the App Store, nor does a manual install of the Combo or Supplmental update I've downloaded from Apple's website work. It states it cannot install on the disk because it doesn't meet the requirements.
Question: Has anybody been successful updating the latest Mac mini to 10.8.2?

I've tried to installed as an update of vdi 3.3.2 or as an fresh install.
After I installed 3.4 or 3.4.1 the same errormessage was in the cacao-log:

Has anybody successfully used the META2TTF utility?

Hey there, I'm trying to use a new function (new as of 11.5) called META2TTF (found in the 11.5's Docutoolbox reference guide), it converts Portrait Metacode Xerox fonts to a Windows TrueType Font.
I'm trying to use the utilty to, as my explanation above would suggest, convert Xerox fonts we own to their TrueType version so our users can see what their efforts in Documaker would look like while working on their sections, etc. However, in using the command line function, I keep getting the message "Device font in non-portrait orientation not converted." I'm pretty confident the font(s) I'm trying to convert are portrait oriented, so I'm just wondering if anybody else has by chance used this utility so I can figure out if it's user error or whether I need to open a ticket with Oracle...
i used the font converter wizard last week in 11.5 to successfully convert all of my Xerox fonts to PCL so I can print locally and see the true representation of what I create in Studio, but TTF is not an option in the wizard (unless it's just not called TTF and I'm missing the proverbial "boat" on this one).

I think there might be a mistake in the documentation which says to use /I= and /O= for the input Xerox font name and the output TrueType font name. Actually, you don't use /I= and /O=, just specify the input Xerox font name and the output TrueType font name.
For example,
meta2ttf C:\metafonts\HM108P.fnt "C:\My Fonts\HM108P.TTF"

and I installed Oracle Container OC4J 11 from metalink
but It did not work .
I want know what are the differences between
Oracle Countiner OC4J 11 ,Webcenter and SOA Suite ? and which one will work?
Has anybody actually deployed TP4 application using certain AS? and which one?

Hi,
the OC4J instance that come with JDeveloper 11 will work to run and test ADF applications in Tp4. WebCenter is not a runtim container but a portal extension. SOA Suite was build for TP3 and can be made working in TP4 following the meta link documentation. General ADF Faces testing should be with OC4J11 in TP4

Is anybody successfully migrated SSRS 2005 SP2 to SSRS 2014?

what I was doing: Try to migrate the ssrs 2005 sp2 in a old web server to SSRS 2014 in a new server (native mode)
1. old SSRS web server: SSRS 2005 SP2 enterprise edition with window server 2003 (server 1)
2. New SSRS web server: window server 2012 R2, installed sql server 2014 database engine and SSRS. (server 2)
3. backup configuration files, encryption key, we have no custom assamblies from the old SSRS web Server (server 1)
4. Backup the report server databases from the existing old database server. (server 3) (our SSRS web server and SSRS report server databases are in different servers)
5. Created the RSExecRole and grantd all the permissions according to the documentation in the sql server 2014 database server (server 4)
6. Restore the databases to the new database server that is in sql server 2014. (server 4)
7. Go to server 2 to configure the reporting service using the configuration Manager
I successfully pointed to new databases, but when test the url, I got the error: The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid or it can not be read. The found version is '143' and the expected version
is '162'
I worked with Microsoft technician, and he said I have to upgrade my old SSRS from 2005 SP2 to 2005 SP4 first then do the migration.   But I saw some article saying that I can migrate the SSRS from 2005 SP2 to SSRS 2014.   Any help is

Thank you Katherine for your reply! I was able to bring up the reports in my new Report web server when I restore the RS databases onto a sql server 2008 server. I got the version conflict error when I restore the databases directly onto a sql
server 2014 server. Our goal is migrating the SSRS 2005 SP2 to SSRS 2014 with databases in sql server 2014. Therefore, I will have to migrate the SSRS 2005 to 2014 but host the Reporting server databases in sql server 2008 R2 first, then
upgrade Reporting Server databases to sql Sql server 2014.
Below steps are what I have done so far to migrate the SSRS from 2005 to 2014:
1. install sql server 2014 on a new server (RS server 2- SSRS 2014)
2. backup up config files, encryption key, application files in old reporting server(RS server 1 - SSRS 2005 SP2)
3. backup the reporting server databases from old database server  (in sql server 2005 sp4) (RS databases server 1)
4. Move config files and encryption key backup files to new RS server 2.
5. Move databases backup files to another server (in Sql server 2008 R2 (RS databases server 2)
6. Restore the backup files to (RS databases server 2)
7. Configure the Reporting services in new server (RS server 2 - SSRS 2014)
    a. configure URL
    b. change databases connection
    c. Restore the encryption key
8. Check the reports.
Now, I am able to see all the reports in my new web server(SSRS 2014) and the databases are in the server that is in SQL Server 2008 R2 version.
My collegue will upgrade the database server 2 including the report server databases and some other databases (currently in sql server 2008 R2 version with some other databases).
1. When she upgrades the database server 2 from sql server 2008 R2 to sql server 2014, do I need to do anything on the new reporting service web server?
2. I was thinking about that I will need to do the RS databases backup and encryption key backup before my colleuge do the sql server 2014 upgrade, and after she finish the upgrade, I will then go to new SSRS web server to do the reporting
service configuration using the configuration manager tool. I will do the database set up and restore the encryption key.  Am I right?

Anybody successfully created a Pie-chart?

I have tried with all the default options and keep getting
an "x"( the one that's shown by browser when it can't find an image file).
I understand the fact that Pie-Charts are still in Beta.
But at least they should work to have a successful look at them.
Or am I missing some important settings in Apache/Portal/Admin
that are masking this output?
These charts are one of the important criteria for us to continue using Portal.

I agree with you
Pie charts is a beta version even in 3.0.9 .It is not possible to create the pie chart(you can create other charts) .If some body has any version more than 3.0.9 ,i don't know .the only way to show up pie charts may be to use seperate table and up load the pie charts and view them ,but not through the regular create components way.

Can anybody successfully use the screen capture method with Pro/E?

Has anybody got this command to work sucessfully?
All the parts in my assemblies get placed on the same position, not respecting my Pro/E constraints.
Do I have a wrong config setting? In 3D v7, I saw that Pro/E wasn't a supported application - is this the reason this doesn't work?
I always use the drag and drop metho in the 3D toolkit.

Jeremy is correct. A straight conversion into Acrobat is best. Just Drag & Drop the model onto Acrobat to open the Acrobat 3D Conversion dialog which, with Pro/E gives very many options to control the conversion process. Or, use the 3D Tool; go to Tools > Avanced Editing > 3D Tool and marquee an area in your PDF where you want the model to placed. After the marquee is completed, the Add 3D Content panel is displayed. Navigate to your Pro/E model and select it, the Acrobat 3D Conversion dialog will be displayed.

This is not the right forum for this question, but I can still respond to this.
In TP4, application deployment to external servers is not available. Applications can be deployed to embedded OC4J only.
