Anybody tried subscription plug-in with ZEN MICR

Hi,
We are working on a windows media subscription
plug-in.Currently we are using CREATIVE's ZEN MICRO portable music
player to test synch of the DRM protected WMA files to the device.We use
Windows Media Rights Manager 0. SDK,Windows Media Format 9.5 SDK and Windows
Media Player 0 SDK.We developed the plugin through the wizard available with
the SDK. In fact we can see the startBackgroundProcessing(),stopBackgroundProcessi ng(),
allowPlay(),allowPDATransfer() and the serviceEvent() calls being made to our plug-in
from the media player.But prepareForSync() and deviceAvailable() of the plugin is
not getting called.What could be the problem ?
The device is PlayForSure compatible.We tried installing the whole suite
of utilities coming with the device and finally uninstalling these and
using the device alone also. In Media player 0,the device is getting listed
under the portable devices list and we can see the WMA files being trasferred
to the device and we are able to play the file in the device also.For your
information,currently the media files being tested are like DRM protected for
permanent download.But there are restrictions on the number of CD Burns.
I upgraded the CREATIVE ZEN MICRO's firmware to
the latest 2.2.02 version also.What are the chances that this might be the
problem with the device 's MTP implementation.. Our development platform is Win XP,
sp 2.0.

I went to repair cause it cannot switch on after charging.. But now i charge, there is this lighting bolt shown but did not indicate how much power was charge. after charge for 6 hrs.. it can on but later return to its charge status.

Hello, not certain, but turn the Camera onto Play if it has such a setting, does it show up in iMovie then?

My battery percentage is going down down down only by looking at my phone, imess is making me crazy, after i write the name for the recipient the keyboard appears after 2 min...and the list is looooong...everything is gone wild ! Why? What can i do ?

I'm having similar issues just lately. The phone itself is very slow to respond to the touch, just scrolling between home screens is a chore at times. There have been about 2 incidents of random vibration from it. Closing home screen folders takes a couple of attempts. I find that I'm also having delayed keyboard responses when typing messages to my contacts.
Also, sometimes when I press the sleep/wake button it takes about 30 seconds to register it and actually lock or wake up.
Have you experienced the backlight failing to light up? Like if I get a message it flashes up then goes black straight after and when you press the sleep/wake or home button it lights up again but very very dimly and you have to press the sleep/wake button as if locking it and then press it again to bring the screen up properly?
Mine is also on 6.1.3(10B329), model MD245B/A, obviously not Jailbroken, carrier unlocked from Vodafone (but that was months and months ago). Roughly 17gb of storage space left.
This has only started happening in the last 2 weeks. Haven't tried the reset or anything yet though.

Problem with Zen Touch & Mediapla

I've recently bought the Zen Touch and I am still quite happy with it. From Windows Mediaplayer I've already put around 0GB of music on it. But since this morning I've got a serious problem. When I start Mediaplayer to play some music it works fine, but when I plug in the Zen Touch, the programm crashes. This means that I can't put on new or delete old music from the Zen Touch.
Does anybody know a solution?

Probably worth trying a disk cleanup from rescue mode.
If that doesn't help, is other software like Creative MediaSource working?

Strange problem with Zen Style 300

I got a Zen Style 300 for my birthday and it is given me some problems. I tried looking at this forum and on google, but so far haven't found anything like it. What happens is that during the sync process, some folders on my portable harddisk (which is where the music is located) get renamed into names with strange symbols and become unreadable. The strange thing is that it doesn't happen with all files and just as strange is that it does happen with files not related to the sync that are located in a completely different folder. You can imagine I got quite scared the first time, afraid of having lost my music collection, but on restart everything was fine again. Until I plugged in the ZEN again that is.
My second problem is probably related to it. Part of the files transfered to the player don't show up when I try to listen to them with the player. When I check they have been copied to the player correctly, yet somehow they don't show up.
I have Windows XP and tried syncing with the standard Creative software, MediaMonkey and iTunes but they all face the same problem. Although with the second problem it might happen that files copied one way don't show up, while the same files transfered with a different program do. All 3 cause the problem with my harddisk. I tried formatting the player and updating it. So anyone has any idea what might cause this?

I have a similar problem. It recognized and paired with a Sony Ericsson MW600 Hi-Fi Bluetooth Stereo Headset once. I lost connection, could no longer connect, and tried to re-pair it. Now it recognizes the the headset's name (MW600), but when you try to pair with it stays on a "Please wait..." message. It will stay that way forever until I press the back (left) arrow. Then the message says "Remote Device not responding" and pairing fails. This MW600 headset pairs with other devices (cell phone, PC) just fine, though, so it's not malfunctioning.
I suspect this might be a Bluetooth version compatibility issue? I say that because when I connect to a Jawbone Era (pretty new device, probably latest Bluetooth spec), everything goes fine.
Also, if I clear all devices, then try to pair to just the Sony Ericsson MW600, I can get the M300 in a state where it hangs and will not respond to anything. I then have to press the reset button using a paperclip to start over.

Need help with Zen Micro and Win

I bought a Zen Micro 2 days ago and I can't get it to work with my Win XP machine.
I did what was told in the manual: install the software first then plug the player.
When I plug the player in I get the following message:
Found New Hardware:
Zen Micro
According to the manual, it should be detected and the drivers installed automatically.
But it dosen't. Instead I get the Wizard that try to find the drivers and it dosen't find them.
I let the battery get a full charge and I tried again. Same results.
I tried to update the firmware but since the player is not detected that didn't work.
I also tried to get the new MediaSource/Zen driver (ZENM_PCAPP_LB_4_00_8_PDE.exe) but that didn't fix my problem either.
I also tried to install the Creative Zen Micro Driver version .27.02 but it tell me that I can't install it because the user I tried to install it with is not an administrator. But this is not true since there is only one user on this machine and it's the administrator. First software that tell me this.
I'm using XP Home with SP2.

Try creating another administrator account and see if it will install from that, and try searching back (perhaps someone had found a solution). I think there's also a way of running a program with forced pri'veleges, perhaps Google can turn something up on that.
I remember one user needs to change some rights of the registry in order to install the software. It looks like under some cases, the login account does not have sufficient rights to write registry.

Problems With Zen Touch Turn

After just recently purchasing a Zen Touch in December 2005, I already have problems with it.
I have never dropped it or hit it. I plugged it in to re-charge one day after using it and when it was done charging I turned it on, used it for 5 minutes then set it down. The next morning I went to turn it on to use it, and it wouldn't turn on. The blue light at the side on the power button was on, but the screen just wouldn't show up. Now the blue light won't turn off. I have read about these problems with Zen Micro freezing up and read about Zen Touch freezing up back in 2004 when it was released. I have phoned the number but couldn't seem to get through. Should I consider taking it in? Or is there an easier way?

Have you tried resetting it's Connect to the mains adapter and press the tiny recessed button on the side of the player. Don't use anything sharp to press it, a bent paper clip is best.

Help with Zen Micro 6GB--got w

Saturday morning I went running and it was raining cats and dogs. Anyway, I am pretty sure my Zen got wet, since I was soaked through my rain shell and my running shirt and my skin. Now when I turn on the Zen, it freezes at the CREATIVE logo. I can turn it on in recovery mode, but the touchpad is unresponsi've. The computer won't recognize the player, but will recharge it. I have tried downloading the firmware and even tried the recovery tool (even though I don't think it supports my player), but nothing recognizes that player is plugged in. Is there any hope, or have I just made a costly addition to my Chrsitmas List to give my wife

WHen I push the power button it jut comes up wioth a blank screen with the Creative logo.
I tried also plugging it into my CP but the same thing happens.
I removed the battery like you said, but still, no progress.
