Anybody using SEM-SRM? Experience with SEM-SRM

I have read the documentation and played around with it.
I'm interested in any kind of feedback related to SEM-SRM.

What do you want to know?
Please note that not that many people are using SRM - stakeholder relationship management.  This is not to be confused with SRM - supplier relationship management which is part of R/3 functional area..

  • Anybody using 11g RAC Database with OIM 9.1.0.2?

    Hi,
    We have poor performance problems with 11g RAC Database with OIM 9.1.0.2.
    It looks like the issue could be because of RAC Ccluster.
    Anybody using 11g RAC Database with OIM 9.1.0.2?
    If so, What is the JDBC Driver r u using? Also what App Server (Weblogic or OAS etc) ?
    Appreciate your input.
    Regards
    Vijay Chinnasamy

    We are using weblogic 10.3. And I am sorry to tell you that we are yet to move to production.
    We are planning to have Database in RAC, so i just thought of taking inputs from you.
    can you tell me under what operations you face the poor performance issue?
    For us the max no. of users in production is around 6k. So I am wondering how this RAC availability will affect the performance.
    Thanks for sharing your inputs.

  • Anybody used iPod camera connector with Fuji finepix S9500?

    Hi there,
    Like many of you I've looked at the compatability list on the Apple site and my Finepix S9500 is not there. Has anybody been successful downloading pictures either from the camera via camera connector, or using a media reader connected to iPod and XD memory card?

    OK, I've been to the Applestore and bought one of these gizmos and wouldn't you know it, but it worked first time. Great little piece of kit!

    After downloading/installing FMLE 3.2, It bluescreens my machine, have to completely reinstall the niagara system (running 7.2.235). Seems to be related to the preview tool, since it crashes as that window tries to open.

  • Refurbished iMac...anybody have experience with quality level?

    I am considering buying a new machine and buying a refurbished product to save a few bucks. Has anybody out there had experience with the level of quality on these machines? Thanks!

    Welcome to the discussions!
    While I do not have a refurbished iMac, my BlackBook is a refurb and has been performing very well since I bought it back at the end of June.
    It came in the plain brown box, but everything arrived in flaweless condition and it even smelled new.
    Since it comes with the same one year warranty that a new unit does and you still have the option to extend that to three years with AppleCare, they are a great deal.
    Bmer has a friend that received a bend MacBook Pro (or maybe it was a PowerBook) that Apple promptly arranged for a repalcement, but that is the exception rather than the rule. By and large you will receive a unit that is every bit as good as a new one, but save money.
    Another thing to mention is that some users report receiving upgrades at no additional charge. Apple advertises the base configuaration and then ships out that they have in stock. That may mean extra RAM or a larger hard drive, but do not count on it. For that reason, I sugest waiting to receive your MB before ordering any upgrades.

  • Experiences with ES Bundle "Integration of external Warehouse Management" ?

    Hi PI Experts,
    anybody who can share experiences with the ES Bundle Integration of [External Warehouse Management System |https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/espackages/integrationofExternalWarehouseManagement+System] and the usage of its Enterprise Services "Confirm Goods Movement_V1" or "Confirm Goods Movement" ?
    As far as I understood these ES can be used for goods movements out of the ERP System.
    Is it really possible to use these ES while creating an goods movement with Transaction MIGO ??
    As far as I know it is only possible to send Transport Orders with WMTORD IDOCS out of SAP to externa Systems (!!) without any custom coding (!!) . Using instead an WMBXY message type (IDOC WMBIDO02) is only for inbound IDOC processing. If using this Standard IDOC for outbound IDOC processing the only way is implementing the BADI called while perfoming the TA MIGO. Correct?
    Any experiences either with the ES Bundle or the IDOC goods movement out of SAP ERP are welcome.
    Kind regards,
    Dries

    you can use ES for creating goods movement in SAP ( see the esoa sample apps on sdn) or you can make your won service published using BAPI .
    I am not catching you in the use of BADI , elaborate more about that.

  • Has anybody used Pro Maintenance Tools?

    Recently read about Pro Maintenance Tools and I was wondering if anybody here has any experience with it - good or bad. Looking for some reviews to see if it is actually helpful!

    It's being used by a variety of large companies (most major broadcasters in the US plus several Fortune 500 firms) plus government agencies, ad agencies, production houses and freelancers. We have a free trial if you want to try it or I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

    While I may be biased, it has genuinely helped me as an Adobe Premiere user on many occasions. The one-click QuickFix function is particularly useful and has helped me several times fix visual artifacts caused by Dynamic Link cache corruption.

  • Any practical experience with composite partitioning range/list?

    Hi,
    I'm working on Oracle 9.2.0.4 and I plan to migrate several large range partitioned tables into range/list partitioned tables. I was wondering I anybody has some practical experience with this new feature (range/list composite partitioning) and if he encountered any bugs or "undocumented features" ?
    Thanks for any feedback
    Maurcie
    PS: I'm not looking for any documentation about how to do it, I'm just wondering if anyone has some experience in a PRODUCTIVE environment.

    You can also put the query in a parameter file so you don't have to worry about escaping characters.

  • Has anybody experience with "Cisco Anomaly Guard Module"

    Hello,
    had anybody experience with "Cisco Anomaly Guard Module" WS-SVC-AGM-1-K9 for Catalyst 6500?
    We're looking for some IDS/IPS prevention system which could take 2-3 Gbits of traffic. From the documentation it looks not bad, and we can get them as used parts (6500 + Sup720 + AGM +ADM) quite cheap. The second solution is Arbor with cisco12000 as boader router (10Gbit uplink) is much more expencevie.
    Arbor tries of cause sell us their solution as "Cisco Anomaly Guard Module" is ot of sale and doesn't have any new features, but from the Data sheets Cisco AGM is eactly what we need.
    Or may be is there another solution which could be comparable to those two?
    Thank you.

    Hello padatta,
    AGM/ADM are IDS/IPS systems, one can of couse discuss about the terms, but it won't be productive :).
    IDSM2 has not enough performance and it should sit inline, ADM/AGM can change he next hop for the diverted traffic and be out of traffic path during the normal operation.

  • How to use semi-transparent mask on external swf?

    I want to use semi-transparent mask on external swf for smooth transition. I'm using
    clip.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    mask.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    clip.setMask(mask);
    Everything works fine. But when I use
    loadMovie("http://www.url.com/movie.swf", "_root.clip");
    clip.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    mask.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    clip.setMask(mask);
    it doesn't work... what am I doing wrong?

    well if your loadMovie is on the same timeline as the code you are setting as mask, then you dont need _root.
    And sorry, I forgot there was an issue with masking the main mc that loadMovie is loading into. So what I did was put clip inside another mc and called that mc "container" so then my code would look like :
    masker.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    container.cacheAsBitmap = true;
    container.setMask(masker);
    container.clip.loadMovie("movietoload.swf");
    download the two swfs attached, and open main.swf to see.

  • Using SAP SRM on Windows Tablet

    Hi All,
    (1) Have anyone used SAP SRM portal on a windows tablet? How is the experience? Any Issues?
    (2) Can we install SAP GUI on a windows Tablet (assume that I have enough memory in the Tab).
    Thanks,
    Ganapathi

    Hi,
    I guess both 1 & 2 are possible in Windows Tablet or Mobile devices...because the OS is same..
    But I could not try this as I (or none of my friends) don't have these device. If someone has tried, kindly share the experience, or if someone knows about the compatibility regarding these, please confirm.

  • Does anybody have any experience with keyloggers and a good program to detect one on your mac? I think I may have one.

    So yesterday I found out that my email address password had been changed. I don't remember doing this, but it is possible I changed it a while back and considering I keep my email constantly logged in. But at the same time, two of my apps were trying to access their "store". I play a game called League of Legends, which has an online store, and it randomly came up with the message "Could not connect to Maestro" (credit card). Then, Itunes (which I rarely use) came up with "sorry, we could not continue with your purchase". I think it's very strange that all of this happened at the same time, but hopefully it's a case of a forgotten password and two games bugging/crashing. I scanned my entire computer with iantivirus and it hasn't found anything, but I've heard keyloggers can be a bit hard to detect. Does anybody have any experience with keyloggers and if so, what program did you use to detect and destroy it?

    If you think that a keylogger has been installed the only safe thing you can do is erase your drive and reinstall.
    I don't think that is the case however.

  • Anybody have any experience with JPad Pro ?

    I have just now downloaded JPad Pro version 5.0 from the web site www.modelworks.com
    Does anybody have any experience with JPad Pro? I would appreciate if people who have worked using JPad pro give me thier opinions about it.
    Thanks.
    Vijay

    I have never used it...I find jEdit to be valuable to me...mainly for the syntax highlighting..
    My first 2 yrs' coding was spent with "notepad" and or "vi" (text editors) and command line javac...
    I am of two minds as to whether to recommend this approach for everyone...I feel closer to the code I write in a notepad...but often times I missed things like "boolian" instead of "boolean" ... things that syntax highlighting assist you with... and unclosed brackets...which when you use an editor like jEdit (or I imagine jPad pro) you can catch easier, due to the auto-indentation.. Searching for these bugs teaches you little other than to be careful while typing :-)
    I still run "javac" from the command line ... I think jEdit has a way for me to call it from the GUI..but I've never used it.
    If it feels right to you..it is not wrong...the only thing I will NEVER use is a code-writing abomination... some people (even advanced users, and I will not say that they are pansies) use them.. In anything but expert hands, they are catastrophically dangerous.
    The risk for code-writing IDEs is that you didn't write it, and there is an extra (un-needeed) level of abstraction from the code, one more level of complexity, that is a blockade to truly understanding the code and improving/maintaining it....

  • Anybody experience with creating timelag function with FOX?

    Dear All,
    As can be seen from my former thread Katie announces that financial functions are not moved to IP. And nowadays these aren't available in BW-BPS either.
    I'm just wondering if anybody has experience with creating financial unctions like timelag, allocation, IRR, accumulated balances etc in FOX?
    And if so, how complicated is this. Any examples would be most appreciated.
    Kind regards, Harjan

    Hi Hatter,
    thanks for the answer.
    But what do you think about the ICY DOCK?
    If you only want to use two drives, OWC has a nice
    $67 dual drive black metal case.
    I don't think that it is fast enough. Check the parameters:
    "Maximum Data Transfer Rate: 1.5Gb/s (or 100MB/sec)"
    Or FirmTek with a
    much better $199 case with 3-speed fan for best
    cooling.
    Yes. This is fine. Here there is:
    "High-performance storage data transfer up to 3.0Gbps (300MB/sec) per drive"
    But what about this ICY DOCK? Although I know that it is not the most important part when we are talking about RAID disks, but this enclosure looks really nice. Will it work as good as it looks like?
    PS: beware of anyone calling a device "hardware RAID"
    when all it does is use an Oxford bridge.
    How do you know that there is used an Oxford bridge, and why it work bad (as I suppose)?
    Marek.
