Anybody who wants to put DVD's on their ipod I have solution

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html
Now just download the decrypter and videora from the links and it will give you the instructions.

Got this site from Jeff B. It has a lot of the same info with a little more about the setting, did a great job on a dvd I ripped and put into format for my soon to arrive IPOD 60 gig.

  • Error in iTunes when I'm wanting to put a CD on my iPod to listen to for a short time

    Hi,
My iTunes has been playing games with my mind. It makes me think that my iPod is full and it's not 'cause I have been taking off CDs and putting on just the CD that I want to listen to since my iPod can't handle much more since it's near full. Whenever I want to put a CD on my iPod that isn't on there yet I get this weird lookin' error in iTunes when I'm wanting to put a CD on my iPod to listen to for a short time. This is what it reads: "iTunes could not copy "song" to the iPod "Liz's iPod" because an unknown error has occurred (-50). See, my iPod can't hold too many more of my new CDs so what I'm having to do is when I want to listen to one of the new ones I can put it on, listen to it, take it off and put another new one on which I don't mind doing, but this error that I am receiving has been annoying me for a long time. I'm hoping somebody knows something about this 'cause my iPod is not full at all since I'm trying my best to keep it from getting there. One other thing, I rip my CDs in 192 and VBR. My iPod has AAC on there as well, but those are just my converted music downloads that I have downloaded over the years, but the AACs aren't the case. Just my ripped CDs. Does anybody know what this error is telling me?
    Thanks,
    Liz

Nevermind, I figured it out this morning. The CDs that I have ripped in 192 all load up good without errors and I just have to drag CDs that are ripped in VBR by transferring 2 songs at a time to get it all loaded up. That is weird, but thank goodness it had nothing to do with iTunes. I was just confused... that's all.

Haven't really used any of them including VLC - actually use netflix on the ipad more than anything. I was able to drop an mp4 into imovie on my ipad and see it there. This was something I had shot as avhcd and converted with turbo.264. Played fine. Probably not what you want for a movie player though.
Well, turbo.264 is indeed very nice to have - even for converting full-sized movies. (Nevertheless, TechRadar's latest roundup (see http://www.techradar.com/news/software/applications/6-of-the-best-video-converte rs-for-mac-1074303 ; also linked from another roundup at http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/benchmark-excellent-multimedia-converter-handb rake-vs-commercial-apps ) has shown it's still worse than HandBrake in most respects.)
All H.264 files (assuming they are H.264 level 4.1 or lower) are compatible with the built-in Videos app.

Those of you who use other players, what do you reccomend? Just curious.
It entirely depends on your needs. The top players (AVPlayerHD / ProPlayer, It's Playing, GoodPlayer) all have different strengths and weaknesses. I myself use It's Playing the most as I convert everything into MP4 and simply love the DSP's (brightness / volume / saturation boosting). (Its software decoders are definitely worse than those of AVPlayerHD / ProPlayer; however, MP4's are played back from hardware.)

  • Can I put DVDs on my video ipod?

Can I put DVDs on my video ipod? if so, how? thank you

The answer i believe is yes. When I bought mine recently this was one of the selling points. However, not with a PC. You need to be running a MAC and download a free software application called HANDBRAKE. (Find it on Google)
If anyone knows of a way to get PC DVDs onto the iPod I would like to know. The guy in the APPLe Store sold me mine on that promise

Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I'm suzanne available at [email protected]

    Here are my suggestions:
    1) Get rid of the signing stuff -- you don't need it if you make the changes as I documented in the code posted below. Java applet can read any data file as long as the files are kept under the same document or code base -- notice that filename is specified without a path (i.e., it's relative). This makes it easier to deploy on the web
    2) Since you do not need to sign the applet, you don't need to create a jar file.
    3) Since you are not using anything special like swing, use the modified HTML shown below and you'll not have to worry about downloading Java plugin because the modified code will work with IE's native JVM version 1.1.4 and NN's native JVM version 1.1.5 -- should you make additions to the code, make sure that you're not calling methods implemented by Sun after the versions described.
If this helps, give me the Dukes.... If you have more questions, ask!
    V.V.
PS: The changes have been tested with the appletviewer, IE5, IE5.5, NN4.79 and NN6.2

  • Anybody who wants to create a  small and simple Script for me?

    Hi,
I am kind of new to Mac and totally AppleScript illiterate, but maybe there is a kind soul amongst all of you that can create an "easy" script for me?
    Well, here it goes:
Every time I boot up my iMac, two things happen, the first is that I programed the "System Preferences" window to open automatically and display the "Energy Saver" section on the "Sleep" sub-section, so far so good and the second thing is that no matter what I have tried to avoid it, the "Customize" window for a program named "Butler" opens also.
    Now for the request:
I would like the "System Preference window which displays the Energy Saver section" to change from "Sleep" to "Options" and while being there(in options), to tick(select) AND UN-tick(Un-select) immediately after the "Automatically reduce the brightness of the display before display sleep" Option.
After doing all of this, the window should be closed.
Now, is it possible to create a Script that performs all of the above and besides closes the "Butler" window afterwards?
I know I am asking too much, but I know too that maybe there is someone with a heart of gold and the sufficient knowledge to help me.
    Thanks a lot
    Enrique Diazruanova

From your initial post, it appears that you have the Butler application running and have used it to access one of the Energy Saver opptions already. I don't have that particular application or a laptop to test, but if you've gotten it to access one option it should be able to access another one.

if ur lookin for quality then you should use the one from apple

  • I want to put a movie on my iPod, but when I try it says that I am not authorized for it on this computer.  How do I get the movie on my iPod?

I can put music on it just fine.  I don't understand.

Authorize that computer in the Store menu of iTunes. If it's a rented movie and you've already authorized a different computer for it, go to that computer.
