Anyconnect 4.0 won't install correctly on Mac OS Yosemite

Hello community,
I bought a new MacBook Pro MGX82 with OS Yosemite. When I run Cisco Anyconnect 4.0 installer from web either from .dmg, it does show the Installation process ends successfully, but when I launch the client there is no actual window to set up the connection.
I also tried to launch the application from Terminal running "open AnyConnect.app" command but it says "The file doesn't exist" but I do see the file in there.
Did anyonу had a similar issue? Is it a known one?

Please try the mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installer and look for CC desktop, if present run the uninstaller to uninstall it.
2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities and look for Adobe Application Manager folder and Creative cloud folder. If present move to trash and empty it.
3. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old
4. Download CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and try to install again.

I've downloaded the latest itunes a couple of times now and it still won't install correctly and I can't open the itunes file.
I have fully deleted and uninstalled itunes to try from scratch but that still doesn't work. Any ideas? Also when I turn my computer on it says I'm missing files in order for itunes to work?

remove your caps database. this shows the location for cs3. make the obvious changes for cs5.

Boot Camp drivers won't install correctly.

Greetings. Recently I formatted the XP partition on my Mac, in order to do a clean installation of windows. I did everything as explained in the guide, using the Boot Camp assistant and so forth. After the installation completed, I inserted my Leopard DVD and installed the appropriate drivers. Although the message declared that everything went smoothly, the only thing I could find that was installed correctly were only the audio drivers - no video drivers, no ethernet, wireless, nothing else. I repeated the whole process (including reinstalling XP) with the same results. Any suggestions?

You will need to reinstall Windows and use the boot camp drivers that came with your machine. Do not use previous boot camp drivers or the boot camp drivers on the Leopard disk. I made the same mistake with my MacBook Pro, I installed boot camp drivers first from a CD copy, them from Leopard and had the same issues as yourself. Then I installed boot camp from the MacBook Pro DVD that came with the MBP and most of it installed. However, not all was working properly. I wiped the boot camp p[artition and reinstalled XP and used the boot camp drivers that came with the MBP and everything worked smoothly. I think the boot camp drivers are specific to a machine, at least in the case of this MBP.

Trial Won't Install Correctly

I have attempted to download the trial for Photoshop Elements many times. I continually get the error , "target disk does not have enough space". The drive has plenty of space. What is the problem here? I am interested in buying this program, but having problems already trying to get the trial to install correctly is making me have second thoughts. about using something else. Can anybody help? We are trying to help, but you are venting instead of providing information to allow us to help. Many of us got to the forums for the same reason you came here, though we already had the product. Sabian has provided the standard download location. Normally there should be no problem with the install and I do not understand why you are getting the message. Others may drop by that have run into the problem. Even if Adobe talked to you, you would probably just get a step through of a check list to try to isolate the problem based on that check list. It sounds like you don't have a valid download and Sabian's link might help if that was not where you got it.

IPad 1 in Recovery mode won't install correctly to connect to iTunes

I've forgotten my passcode on my iPad 1 and want to reset it completely.
I have put it into Recovery mode successfully and tried to connect to iTunes when doing this as described, but the PC says that the device has not installed correctly and so never appears in iTunes at all.
I have now tried this action on three separate PCs with iTunes on, each with a different cable, but the result is the same every time.
The PCs I have tried are all connecting to other iDevices successfully using iTunes.
Any solutions?

Docs to go won't install on my mac

Hi,
I've recently bought a palm TX, and have been experiencing trouble with the included software apps for my mac.
I've installed palm desktop, and some of the other apps such as adobe reader, but for some reason docs to go won't install.
i can load the disk image off the CD, click on the VISE installer icon, accept the terms of use, but it get's stuck when the progress bar appears. the last thing it says before "not responding" is...

I've tried repairing disk permissions, i'm logged in on the admin account, reinstalled palm desktop and there are no other apps running.
I'm using OSX 10.4.11 (tiger), a palm TX, and the palm desktop version is 4.2.2
I've also tried downloading 4.2.1 rev D but same result.

The version included on the CD is Docs to go ver 7. According to the datavis website, it's mac compatible, and it certainly looks like a mac compatible installation procedure.
I've found getting technical help from datavis pretty much impossible, as i need a registration no. to e-mail for support, and as I can't even install the program, I've got no registration no.
Is there anyone else out there with a TX using docs to go on their mac???

I have a mac mini, latest version. I have a fusion drive.
Mavericks won't install on that drive. I get this message:

Well, I did that, up to "choose the partition tab." Then it says "you may only split this partition into two. To do this, click +."
I did that, and there were two partitions. the only option left is to select apply, which I didn't.
The "options" were still greyed out.
So now what?

Lion creates a recovery area with a minimal version of OS X and it may be unable to do so due to use over the years, and possibly other resizing operations (Boot Camp). It could just need more space, if you only have less than 8gb free. Lion shuffles and merges the two systems when it upgrades. You can burn the image downloaded from App Store by finding the dmg file inside the "Install Mac OS X Lion.app" bundle, dragging it into disk utility, then burning from there.
Otherwise, you can appropriate a MBR/BIOS formatted 4GB thumbdrive, 8GB of either EFI or MBR/BIOS thumbdrive, flash storage device, or external hard drive, and format it, using the restore operation through disk utility to copy the contents of the installer disk to the media. Exposed via the alt key before the Apple logo, should show the bootable media, where you can format over the former installation.
As always, backup your files when upgrading. I recommend if your installion is over a year old to wipe and upgrade if you can't make otherwise the media bootable, using your 10.6 recovery dvd.
If you cannot find an external medium to backup your files before the upgrade, if you need to format via disk utility (Through 10.6 media), you can consider Dropbox as an option (2GB free account).
It's not uncommon for the partition to simply refuse operations, including upgrades and resizing.

got the update request for iTunes version 11, so I went through the installation process but after restarting my computer itunes would not work. It comes up with the message 'This version of iTunes is corrupt or not installed correctly, please reinstall itunes' there is no error code, it just says 'Error'
I have iMac, can anybody help me fix this?

1. How is the printer connected to the computer? Is it connected directly to the computer with a USB cable, with an Ethernet cable to a router, or wirelessly?
2. If the machine is connected with a USB cable, are there any other devices, such as a USB hub or extender, connected between the unit and the computer?
3. Are you receiving any specific error messages when you attempt to install the drivers?
4. How are you installing the drivers? Are you using the installation CD that came with the machine or are you using drivers downloaded from the Canon USA website?

Tried that but nothing other than the Finder was open in activity monitor. However stumbled on the fact that Sugarsync was running although it did not show up anywhere. Closed it and installation worked!

I really appreciate your assistance.... I installed firefox. I have MAC version 10.5.8... I think I should have stated that on my prior post......sorry.
The version of firefox I installed on this mac works until I attempt to use a app that requires flash. I updated the flash player with the correct version that firefox requires.
to no avail will the plugin update. when attempting to update the plugins, I get a message from firefox telling me that I do not have the required system in the mac in order to update the plugins.
So...I am going to continue to investigate and analyze where I am going wrong in my attempts to reinstall adobe flash on this mac....
I will keep you apprised to my outcome. Any further assistance that you may possibly provide me would be Great!!
