Anyone able to use Messages?
I've spent a few hours on the phone with Apple support since Mountain Lion was released, trying to get Messages on Mac to work. Never any luck. Just lots of wasted time. I'm running OS X 10.8.1. Sometimes I will get a message on the Mac. Even less I will get a photo. It's all very random. I've stopped using it because it's useless.
Does this program work for anyone?
I can send and receive but it's very random. Sometimes I'll get a photo on my Mac and lots of times it won't come on the Mac but I'll get it on my iPhone. Again it's random but mostly doesn't work. For example, I have about two text messages on my Mac but I've got photos and lots of text messages on my iPhone from the past day.
I don't use messages on the Mac but I do keep it open just to see how out of sync it is. And it's very out of sync.
By the way, how do you know if something was sent to your mobile number versus your email address. That might be what is going on but I don't know how to tell.

Anyone able to use flac dts files in itunes?
Ive just managed to get itunes to play flac files using the xiph bits and bobs - I can also play dts files via digital out on my macbookpro after turning off the equaliser http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93870 but itunes still wont play the combined dts-flac files ie only white noise - Cog will do it so its not impossible but harder to playlist

Is anyone able to use any version of Firefox with Kronos Workforce Central?
We use Kronos Workforce Central 5.1 and it requires Java. We installed Java 6 update 30. We were able to login to Kronos using Firefox for about a week. Then, we started to see Firefox hourglass when trying to see someone's timecard when logged on as superuser.
Note that the Nightly build gets updated daily (and sometimes more than once in case of a respin) and it is always possible that something goes wrong and it doesn't work properly, so be prepared for issues if you decide to stay with the Nightly build and make sure to have the current release with its own profile installed as well in case of problems.

Anyone able to use Google Docs with Safari?
In Safari 6, I always get this error when I open any docs:

Of course, reloading doesn't work. Any one else have that problem or know how to fix it?Yes. Google drive is proving to be unusable in Safari 6.
I suspect Safari 6's JavaScript engine is the culprit since I am also running into common HTML forms that won't verify anymore either. ugh... -
Is anyone able to use Windows Media Player plug-in

It requires WMP plug-in. I have WMP installed but apparently not the plug-in. I click the link from the popup to get the plug-in. A Software Update window appears that wants to find Rosetta. I click to allow it. It says "Installing 2 items" and never progresses half way. Is there any way to watch this video on OS X 10.6.3?It plays fine for me.

Not able to use Aliph Jawbone 2.0
T-Mobile recently replaced my Blackberry Curve 8320 using OS 4.2 with a Blackberry Curve using the new OS 4.5
I synced the Aliph Jawbone with it and when I make calls I am able to hear the other person on the line but they are not able to hear me at all.
-Deleted/Added the Bluetooth Device
-Restarted the Blackberry
-Reloaded the 4.5 OS
-Tested the Jawbone on another Blackberry 8820 using the 4.2 OS and it works perfectly
Still nothing called T-Mobile and I am getting a replacement phone Had Some Questions

After upgrading to Lion, not able to use a PowerPC Application (Quicken 2007). Any solution?
Quicken Essentials 2010 has less features than Quciken 2007. Keeping track of investments is one feature I need and Quicken Essentials does not include that function. I may have to consider others financial software, such as iBank4, Money4, iFinance, and Money Well.

how can someone use a stolen iphone? does erasing the phone (which I feel like I should do) make it easier for the thief to use the iphone? If I don't erase it, it doesn't seem like anyone should be able to use the phone because of my password. Also, is it possible to retrieve anything that has been sent to the phone (i.e. text messages) since it was stolen through icloud? The "find my iphone" app says the device is offline but it rings when I call my number -- any idea how that would be the case? Thanks!!
You have a password, so good move on your part. Whether you erase it or the thief does, they still get to use the iPhone as theirs. Which is more important (pick one), protecting your data or punishing the thief?
Ringing occurs at the carrier. Chances are you're going to voicemail after only two or three rings. If you have an iCloud backup also a good move. Re-read my question in the first paragraph. -
When I try to connect to itunes the message say's error 11333. When i try to update itunes the computer say's it cannot connect and further tells me to check my connections. Once again I am able to use safari to get onto the internet fine. I went on trouble shooting at apple.com, but the thing's it told me to try failed. Can anyone please help?

hello can i please get some help, my stepdad used to use my phone a while ago, i deleted his old account from my phone, last night out IMessages merged without us knowing how it happened, he is able to read any messages that are coming into my phone through IMessage and also i am able to read his and this is happen from two different phone, i dont know how to fix this or two separate the two accounts, is anyone able to help please
Settings>Messages Send and Receive should only have the phone number and addresses checked that you want reaching that individual devices If your step-dads number and email are checked just tap them it will remove the check.

I don't believe that I am paranoid, but I like to buy something and use it
without to inform the supplier that I do it. Otherwise I could have bought
the license fpr LR5 via internet.

I keep getting an error 4261 message when I try to burn a playlist. This has only just started to happen. Anyone able to help? Thanks everyone.
The 2048 error message usually suggests the files use MPEG-2 format which is not supported natively on Windows via QuickTime without the additional MPEG-2 Playback Component ($20 from Apple).

Has anyone been able to use the Video Feeds in Video Centre?,
I can see Reuters and other that are downloaded but the ones that are streamed (youtube, CNN, Jamster, Inside Sony Pictures, etc.) if I use them over WLAN they time out or don't play.
Some play over EGPRS, but the others I get a message 'Not enough bandwidth'
I don't have 3G so I can't test if it's working over 3G. Has anybody been successful in using them over WLAN?
