Anyone attempt to make Android live wallpaper?

If anyone has ever made one using the Android SDK, you’d know it’s about as simple as changeing the intent filter. Has anyone tried to get an app to run as a live wallpaper? Maybe by playing around with the android manifest in the air xml. Does anyone at adobe know if there is a plan to eventually allow a way to develop live wallpapers? That’s something I could see adding even more value to using the air framework for android.

not possible yet. No idea on the release of this feature or if it's in the roadmap, but I know it isn't there yet.

A1 live wallpaper ics

Hi,
I can't make any live wallpaper work on my A1 under ICS.
I have tried many of them.
I can set them but they don't load when I start my tablet again.
Any solution ?

I have not expereience that problem. Live wallpapers worked just fine for me. HOWEVER, I found that the A1 just doesn't have the power to properly show most live wallpapers. I quickly reverted back to static wallpaper so that the rest of my apps would run well.

Already know how to create android applications with flash cs5.5 but i would to know how to do to set an application as a live wallpaper.

Live Wallpaper won't uninstall! Tried several things.

I installed Live Wallpaper from the app store, decided I didn't want it and uninstalled it. Now my desktop.plist file keeps resetting with their settings in it and I can't get their image from popping up when I start or log in to my computer.
Things I have tried:
1. Installing and uninstalling again.
2. Deleting all files I could find with SquidMelon in the name.
3. Deleting desktop.plist file.
4. Editing desktop.plist file.
5. Screaming....
6. Posting questions on their FB Page.... did about as much as the screaming did...
If anyone knows how to reset the desktop.plist folder back to factory and keep it from resetting because of SquidMelon, I would really appreciate it. I just don't know what to do anymore.

If you just dragged the app to the Trash, that doesn't uninstall all the associated files.
Re download the Live Wallpaper app from the App Store. (Click Purchases from the App Store menu bar). Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Then Download AppCleaner for Mac - Uninstall your apps easily. MacUpdate.com
It's a very handy and free utililty.
Then use AppCleaner to uninstall Live Wallpaper then restart your Mac.

N8 live wallpaper

That has nothing whatsoever to do with it. The N8 probably outperforms in terms of hardware specs more than half of all Android phones, so that has nothing to do with the lack of this kind of a feature.
The N8 doesn't support live wallpapers in the same fashion, because Nokia didn't think it was enough of an important feature to make something like that to the phone (to Symbian^3/Anna/Belle). Hardware specs has nothing to do with it. Of course, such a feature does consume some processing power and memory, but that is negligient; the biggest waste with such a feature is in the battery power lost due to such eye candy.

"Water" live wallpaper

A couple of my friends have Android phones with a live wallpaper called "Water." It's the one that looks like a pond with leaves floating on it, and you can touch the "water" and make it ripple. It is unbelievably cook, and the first time I saw it was the moment I decided I wanted an Android. I know, superficial and all, but still....
Ever since I got my Samsung Stratosphere last fall I've been trying to find this live wallpaper, and it doesn't seem to be available in the Google Play store. I think it comes stock on HTC phones, at least some of them. I've looked a bit online and not been able to find it (though I did find links to a live wallpaper package that, if it installed at all, would overwrite all my live wallpapers, which I don't want).
This seems like what the customizability of Android phones is all about. So does anybody here know where or how I could get this lovely wallpaper?

Scroll toward the bottom of the page for the downlink button. I have not downloaded/installed it myself via this link since it's stock on my Motorola. Hopefully it'll work for you without any glitches; otherwise, guess that'll be another search!

IOS4 - Live Wallpaper?

Not a big issue, but you think we'll get live wallpaper one day like the Android?
_Yes I know it'll drain the battery quicker_. But it'll add an advantage against the Android.
Plus an updated push notification version that doesn't mess up your apps.

*There are two choices offered when you select something to be your wallpaper.* One of those is +home screen+. If you want to use your own photo as the wallpaper, just click on the Photo app, then select the picture you want as your wallpaper. On the bottom to the left of the arrows to flip through your photo album is a little box with an arrow coming out of it. Touch that, and it should present you with the choice to make it your wallpaper. When you touch +set as wallpaper+, you'll have to set the wallpaper size and view then it'll offer you a choice between the +lock screen+ and the +home screen+. Obviously, choose +home screen+. That should do it.
If you want to use one of the wallpapers that come with the iPod itself, just go to settings and click wallpaper and go through the same process as above except this time you choose the artwork already preloaded onto your iPod by Apple.

HT1491 I'm using a prepaid credit card to make in app purchases. Every 2 days or so, I will attempt to make an in-app purchase and it will say "Unable to complete transaction at this time. Please contact iTunes Store Support."

     Like I said, I often play iOS games on my iPhone 4S in my spare time. Sometimes, if the game is good enough, I will attempt to make an IAP (In-App Purchase). Sometimes, I have no trouble with this. Other times it will say: "Unable to complete transaction at this time. Please contact ITunes Store Support. I primarily use a prepaid credit card by AMEX called Bluebird. I always make sure that I have plenty of funds available in it. For instance, tonight, it has roughly $200 stored. So I try to make an IAP for $10 and it works fine. Later I make another for $15, no trouble there either. Then I try to make a purchase on the same game for $2.99 and it gives me that error message.
     This has been happening on and off for the past 3-4 weeks only. Every few days it happens, I contact the iTunes Store Support, and sometime in the next 24-72 hours they get back to me. They then apologize for the inconvenience and fix the problem. But the main problem is that their fix seems to be only temporary. It happens irregardless of how much money I have available on my card. I've even had it happen when I had just redeemed a. $50 iTunes gift card and was trying to make a $5 purchase. It doesn't seem to matter if I've spent a little bit or a lot of money that day. It doesn't care for which game I am purchasing the IAP. TThis never happened to me before a month ago. Now it won't stop. And it is incredibly frustrating that it seems to happen for no rhyme or reason out of the blue. Then I'm stuck waiting on the support staff to get back to me for the next few hours to few days, depending on the day.
     Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Or how can I prevent it from happening in the future. The support folks at Apple are nice, but I'm tired of emailing them every other day with the same problem. I'm sure they are quite tired of getting emails from me at the same frequency. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. my Internet connection is working perfectly. No technical difficulties whatsoever other than the inability to make an IAP. Also, after it gives that unable to complete transaction message, I can no longer buy anything with my apple account until tech support fixes it. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

HT1476 My Iphone 5s does allow my Iphone to use panorama photos to be a live wallpaper, when i want to go set one of my panorama photos to be a live wallpaper it only say "Move and Scales" why is that?

Hi i just recently brought an iphone 5S and i hear about the live wallpaper using panorama photos. I took a panoramic photo on my iphone, and i went to set it as my wallpaper but it says "Move and Scale" shouldnt it say "Wallpaper Review"? why is this happening?

I live in China as well and my iPhone5s is the model A1530 I bougth outside China. I have the same problem as Nikatnight with the iPhone while the iPad Air (wifi only) is working like a charm. It must be definitely something related to the carrier since I was abroad few days ago and everything worked well.
If you pay attention at the source of your maps, you'll discover they are provided by AutoNavi instead of TomTom and make them appear in chinese with their own border interpretation. Queries are only acceppted in Chinese (p.e. if I type in english "Los Angeles International Airport" it replies it cannot locate it)
I suppose everything will be fine when you'll be out of censorship....
Perhaps iOS Apple Maps are absolutely useless for expatriate in China.
Use Google Maps instead
BTW, I'm surprised how much Apple might prostrate towards hard power Governments.... No matter what, money are always on top!

I can't set any live wallpaper in my Xperia C2305

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Live wallpaper display theme issues

On Live Wallpaper app, display themes stopped showing out of nowhere! tried everything and now just suck with golden gate theme. err....

I'm not seeing it in any of my browsers, which version of IE is giving you the trouble. I always assume IE is the problem when it isn't spelled out (it's best to explain the problem in your body, not in your post title, it will get truncated)?
In IE7 and 8, the entire site should be broken. There is a lot going on in your code that neither of those browsers can handle.
Looks fine in IE9 and 10, Firefox and Chrome for me.
If your issue is showing in IE10 or 11, make sure to turn off Compatibility Mode if it's enabled, that breaks everything.
It could also be a browser cache issue, make sure to clear that out and look at the site again.
Also make sure to run your page through the validatror at http://validator.w3.org to get a listing of your html errors. Those errors can cause display problems between browsers/versions/platforms.
