Anyone else get a presale reservation that did not work?
I was on apple.com & AT&T at 11:55 pm and refreshed for around 15 minutes..both sites were still down.
Googled iPhone 5 to see what others were saying and all said to order on my iPhone..which I did. Email stated I had a reservation and weould receive and email to complete my order. Got the email at around 2am. Clicked on the complete order and the phone I picked came up...black/slate 32gb, so far so good...then when I clicked on the order it woudl not go through. The email stted I had till 5pm the 15th so I kept trying and still nothing. Called 1-800-MY-APPLE and they said the site may be down so keep trying...which I did all the way up to 5pm Saturday the 15th.
I called Apple back and got the run around several times. I finally got a hold of a guy that seemed to help. He said he was going to call his boss and see what he could/should do and call me back. He called about 20 min later and said to cancel the one and reorder, which we did. His boss put in a note to expedite the order to still arrive the 21st and I should receive a confirmation email by Monday. No such email...still says Oct 10-16!!!
I did get an email with my web order number to accept the terms so that my order could be completed. That too did not work...kept sayimg it could not connect or was not found. A few hours later I received the same email but with the order number and it did not work. Called Apple and they got it to work. She also said she saw the note stating to expedite but could not tell me if it was going to happen ( which I understand )
I know there is no way this thing ships to arrive the 21st since it is now the 18th and not even completely processed...I wish I could call and just have them call one of THEIR stores and put one on reserve for me with my original number to pick up Friday. I know, I know...who do I think I am lol...I think I am someone that wet through several channels to order a product on time and should be taken care of...it is ridiculous that I have to keep calling to check to see when I can get the phone I ordered on time....
I still love apple products and I know they take care of people...not every transaction is going to go smooth...just seems it was an easy fix. And I like my solution ( pick up at apple )

I have tried to log into my apple account so I can download my songs onto my iPhone. It keeps telling me my apple id is disabled. I've tried resetting my password but that did not work. How can I fix this?
After resetting your password you might then need to log out of your account on your device by phone on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if it's on iOS 6) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to the newest verison of firefox and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. I then made sure it could get through my firewall and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version hoping that would do it and once again nothing. It will not open at all. Please help - is there a live chat or a number to talk to someone at Firefox?
I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

After updating to iOS7 on my iPhone 4 I cannot enable location services. How do I enable location services? I have tried turning off restrictions but that did not work.
I finally just resolved this after not being able to enable location services since upagrading to iOS 7. Posting the solution here 'cause I couldn't find it anywhere else.
I enabled Restrictions under Settings > General > Restrictions and created a passcode (I'm not sure if this was part of the solution, but it wasn't enabled for me by default.)
In Restrictions, under Privacy, Location Services was set to "Allow Changes" (This still didn't solve the issue of the greyed-out Location Services switch though - I still couldn't turn it on.)
Also in Restrictions, I also switched "Find My Friends" to "Allow Changes"
Once I did step 3, the switch under Settings > Privacy > Location Services was no longer greyed out and could be switched on.

On iTunes 11.0, how do I delete and App from iTunes? I tried selecting the App to be deleted and pressing Delete, but that did not work.
MoragaTomI have the same problem on my iPhone - an app I want to delete but can't. The app in question doesn't show up on the list of apps i iTunes and doesn't show an 'X' when it starts to wiggle. All the other apps do, but not this one. It's definitely an app. How do I get rid of it, please?

I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. Do you know how I can get rid of this autofill? I am using a Mac if that makes a difference. I am having trouble printing a PDF document. Whenever I click print nothing happens but when I am printing documents from Word, Excel etc they print without a problem. I've tried printing as image but that did not work. I uninstalled Adobe Reader XI and downloaded Adobe Reader X instead and that still doesn't work. I have Windows 7.

My Itunes account was hacked and my Apple ID was disabled. I followed the instructions from APPLE to backup and restore from Itunes but that did not work. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!
Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.
I fail to see how restoring your iPad would enable yoyr Apple ID. -

i have an iphone 4 and my internet has not worked for a good 10 months, why wont it work? My dad pays for my data plan, so its not that i dont pay the bill. I've even tried to rest my net work settings, and that did not work. I went to AT&T and they said that the only way to fix it was to buy a new phone, and im not going to buy a new phone with out my upgrade. someone, please help!

My ipod touch thinks headsets are plugged in as indicated when pressing volume control. We did a reset but that did not work. What is next?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem

- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.
