Anyone else getting this case?

Hey all!
Anyone else getting this case from Verizon Wireless? http://www.verizonwireless.com/apple-iphone-4-belkin-standard-silicone-black.shtml. It is the Incipio Double Cover case...I got mine in black. I also got a pack of the screen protectors Verizon was selling, just to be safe! I will have Verizon put it on for me tomorrow!

Yea I like the case - I actually went into a Verizon store to look at it physically and it is really nice. And yep! I have them put my screen protectors on for me lol - they are nice about doing that for me

Update not available - anyone else getting this problem?

I have LR4 and just clicked 'Check for Updates' and keep getting update check unsucessful and its keeps telling me to check internet connection even though thats working.

I can connect to the Oracle database using SQL Plus. Now when i TNSPING ORACLE from command line i get the following message :

Using Pintrest getting a message " you hit the rate limit" anyone else getting this message?

As I understand it, you would need to go back before Mavericks. Such as, wipe your Mac and install a clone of your old Snow Leopard installation. Make sure the old iWork apps were installed and upgrade to Mavericks.
What occurred when I upgraded from Mt Lion to Mavericks, is the MAS detected my installed iWork '09 apps, alerted me to available updates and presented the Mavericks versions of iWork in the Purchases pane for me to accept into my account. After I accepted them into my account, it then proceeded to install the Mavericks versions in the Apps folder and at the same time sequestered my previously installed iWork '09 apps in a folder in the Apps folder named iWork '09. Later, when I upgraded to OS X Yosemite, the MAS alerted me to upgrades for the Mavericks iWork apps and updated them to the Yosemite versions.

Latest version of Aperture is not recognising .dng files from Leica Monochrom. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Well, the files are probably not the same as those from the M9. In fact I'm pretty certain this isn't the case.
The monochrom is not listed on the RAW support page:

I'm unsure whether running them through Adobe DNG converter would work, either (yes, I know it's DNG to DNG, but it may change the format). Have you tried it?

Anyone else getting this error: unable to connect to itunes in the cloud?

After iTunes 11 upgrade, I now get this error all the time and syncing and backing up my iDevices won't work.

All the items purchased and in Cloud disappeared and the little cloud icon shows the wavy diagonal lines trying to connect, it fails to connect and a dialog informs that it "cannot connect to the cloud", but no other internet problems are present. Then the little cloud icon just disappeared and does not or has not come back. Movies, TV shows, Music are all gone right now. Anyone else with this issue? Apple System Status says all is green.

i left the at&t store with my new iphone today. i got this weird screen and hit accept but i was just wondering if anyone else got this or just me? also when i got home and activated my first gen under my moms number i got the same message on her phone!?

It's a phone activation message. Usually only the techs see it. If it is working and not broke.....

Auto Brightness kicks in after phone is unlocked. Anyone else getting this?

After the sleep/wake button is depressed, the "slide to unlock" screen and wallpaper appear, and only after the phone is unlocked does auto brightness engage.

That's normal...it's the iPhone's auto-brightness feature in which it's triggered by a light sensor. If it's too dark, when unlocked, the iPhone will darken it's screen because it's easier on the eye and if it's to bright, the iPhone will brighten it's screen.
Try it in a dark room...turn on the iphone with the lights off and it will be very dim, immediately turn on a flashlight on it and it will immediately turn very bright. This feature only works when the iPhone is unlocked and in opertion.

Is anyone else getting this kind of slowness feel to thier iMac like I am?

Hello All:
Since upgrading to SL and appling the updates, my brand new imac seems to be less responsive than usual.
It all started with Photoshop cs3 but now it seems that I keep getting beach balls with everything I do on the machine now.
Is this an issue that anyone else is getting or is this just me?

A user here had luck with a SMC reset.
Try running your Apple Hardware Test . It's not perfect, but may flag something.

I get zero search results even for items I know are at the store. Anyone else getting this behavior?

On two different machines, one running Snow Leopard, the other running Yosemite, iTunes does not display search results for most searches, including items that I know are at the store. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

Yes. I find that I have to revise my search several times to finally find what I want. If I can't find it under the artist, I might find it under the title of the song, or some variation of the title. It seems to be more common with older songs or movies. This has been true even before the current update. Case in point, recently I couldn't find a song I wanted under the artist's listing. I searched under the name of the song, and not only found the song, but also some albums that hadn't been listed under the artist in my first search results.

Verizon upgrade email fiasco, anyone else get this ?

I received an email on October 15th from the address [email protected] telling me I am eligible for a new phone. I have received email from this address before and it even had a picture of my current phone and the last 4 digits of my phone number in the email. It says in fine print in the email "Available only if customer has not upgraded in last 180 days". I last upgraded over a year ago. I then log into my Verizon and of course it says that I am not eligible for upgrade until Feb 2012. So I call customer service to ask about the email. I am told to forward the email to the representative. After being on hold for 10 minutes she comes back and says that the email is from a 3rd party. I would like to note that when I click the links in the email it takes me right to their official website. I tell her this makes no sense and that I would like to speak with a supervisor.
After another 25 minutes on hold she comes back and says she spoke with a supervisor( I never end up talking with a supervisor after asking to speak with one personally) and says that they have been having problems with this "fraudulent email" since this past Friday October 14th. I do a quick internet search to see if anyone else has gotten "fraudulent" 3rd party email from said address and find nothing. She then says they will honor the upgrade.. But there's a catch. In the upgrade email there are four pictures of phones that are "top recommendations" from Verizon. They will only honor the upgrade if I purchase one of these four phones. Oh and I also have to purchase the phone through the representative right at that moment over the phone. I laugh and say you can't be serious as I have no interest in buying one of their crappy suggested phones. What is the point of "honoring" the upgrade if I can only choose from four phones that I have no interest in? I tell her to make note of this conversation for future reference and take down her name, shift hours and tell her I will be getting back to her later in the week. I really don't know what to do at this point. I don't even care if I get the upgrade or not, I just felt like I was lied to about the whole situation.

An update. When I called they flat out wouldn't let me upgrade, claiming the email "came from a third party". I have since received an email from Verizon basically saying that the original email I recieved was in error, and that there are no updates available at this time. The thing that **bleep** me off is that the rep flat out lied to me about being from a "third party". I compared the email headers of both the original and followup emails and they came FROM THE SAME PLACE. Same originating address, using the same email processing system/server. This is why Verizon has a problem - they will just say whatever it takes to get you off the phone.. unless of course you're ready to spend big bucks on a new phone... Either that, or they will say nothing when you ask about a problem (ie. Incredible update status), or pass the buck to the manufacturer.

I have iTunes 11.4 and Windows 7. Using iTunes on Windows 7, I get message that iTunes has stopped working and Windows will close the program and notify me if a solution is available. Same message for last two days. Anyone else getting this?

I have iPad 2, iPhone 5s, both with iOS 7.1.2. I use PC with Windows 7 and hard wire internet service and iTunes to update apple products; no wi-fi. I updated iTunes to v11.4 on 09/11/14. I ran Windows update on 09/10/14. I did not try to open iTunes on my PC until yesterday 09/16/14. I got the message: "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I got the same message today. Does anyone know if this is a Windows problem and if a solution is coming or an iTunes problem? I can get iTunes on iPad and iPhone. All other programs PC are working correctly. I use Norton Internet Service on PC. I ran virus scans and repair/reinstall iTunes yesterday on PC.

Anyone else getting this message when downloading updates?

Yes, it happens to me too. Btw, where can I get the copy of OC4J with javax-ssl-1_2.jar and jsse-1_2.jar? Because my copy of OC4J only provide javax-ssl-1_1.jar and jsse-1_1.jar.
