Anyone else had the latest Viber update drain their iphone 4 battery?
it goes down in a few hours with the latest viber update and behaves normally when Viber is deleted. Any one else had this problem or know anything about it? VIber appears to be crashing when I look at the usage log.
Not on the iPhone I haven't. But on my iPad 2 I'm having the same issues you're having.
Giving apple a week to give us info, if they tell us nothing about a patch, I'm selling all my apple stuff on eBay in a heart beat and going Andriod.

Any help would be appreciated.This still doesn't make sense. The iPhone 4 may have come with a number of different versions of iOS out of the box depending on when it was purchased and how long it had sat on the shelf.
If you can't find it, check restrictions and make sure you haven't locked it out. -
While downloading the latest IOS update to my iPhone 4S, my phone went into a frozen state with the update 2/3's complete. It's remained like this for the past 12 hours. I can't turn the phone off, and I can't connect it to iTunes. Anyone know what to do?
If the place of purchase does not have a 'Lemon' policy (three replacements = refund or complete exchange), sadly you are out of luck.
And Apple themselves do not have any power over what policy a reseller uses. You can call Apple Care and have them replace it, but the odds are you would probably get a standard replacement again like has previously happened. I'm pretty sure Apple holds their own sort of 'Lemon' polocy where if it's been replaced three times through them they'll swap it out for a brand new phone. Not 100% sure though, best bet is too call them again.
And it ***** getting a response like that from their support personel, but hey, they can't all be that bad can they? I'm sure if you plead your case they'll try and help out. I've dealt with them in the past and had one or two people that rubbed me the wrong way, but most of them have been a great help and kept me a happy customer, haha.

If it is under warranty, bring it in to Apple Store, most of our suggestions, comes from the Apple support site..
Besides Restoring the iPod, there are winsocks which have conflict with iTunes, perhaps, disable those plugins and disconnect the Internet and stop antivirus, while you are Restoring or Syncing the iPod. -
Cant open web pages when connected to the internet via Telstra's Pre Paid WiFi (this connection is working on other devices) has anyone else had the same issues, works fine with BigPond Wifi
and now, when i tried to check again my network preference below the airport tab is showing a message that
"my airport does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the internet!"
then after seconds it will goes back to the first message that
"airport has the self assigned IP address etc....."

Has anyone else had a third party hi-jack their apple id? My apple id stopped recognising my password and I recieved an email saying that my password for apple id had changed. When I tried to sort it all apple said was "well, tough- you'll have to change your email."
Now I'm having trouble getting all my apple products to talk to each other as they are on my old apple id which I dont have access to.
All this has happened since updating to the new IOS and Iphone 5s which may be a coincidence but seeing as I'm having a load of niggles with the iphone 5s (which makes up its own mind as to which calls it'll let me answer amongst other things) I was just wondering if I'm a freak.Contact Apple Account Security. I just installed the latest software update on my iPhone this weekend (9/22/12), and now I can't get email. I've restarted and closed all my apps to no avail. I'm able to get email on my laptop, so it's not a problem with my provider. Any ideas?
Originally we were getting the error that the phone could not connect. Then, after deleting the account multiple times and re-adding it again, the error message CHANGED to having to log in to Yahoo and authorize.
When we went to Yahoo in a regular browser and logged in there was an alert telling us about connection attempts so it disabled mobile/iphone connectivity. It required that we change our password FIRST.
Then, we went in to Manage Apps and Webpages and saw that iPhone was not there but Facebook was.
After all of this went back to the phone and deleted then re-added the account again and SUCCESS!
It now also shows up on the Yahoo Manage Apps and Webpages.

Last week I downloaded the latest OS update for my iPhone 5S. Now, a popup window states the password is invalid for voicemail. I have never needed a password or I don't need one or want one. Have searched is setup to find a way to turnoff the required password. Phone has been like this since the update to the OS.

If you are getting a voicemail password prompt, that usually means you have a voicemail. In order to hear it you will need to enter the passcode, it only needs to be entered once.
To reset your passcode, call your service provider. -
Has anyone else had the day view crash calendar in iOS 7.1 on iPad Air?
I recently updated to iOS 7.1 on my iPad Air (128 GB cellular). When I go to the calendar app and select the new "Day" view, the calendar app crashes.
I have iCloud calendar and two Google calendars syncing with the device. When I disable all calendars from syncing, I no longer experience a crash in the "Day" view.
Has anyone else had similar experiences?

FyzelSwitching to day view doesn't crash calendar but I can't launch the calendar app in iOS 7.1 (on my iPad 2) if synch is in and it was last in day view. It crashes on launch.

I have been having an issue with the screen flashing black for several seconds then turning back on. This olny occurs in the Messages app and only in landscape mode. I have never noticed the issue in any other app. The issue is 100% repeatable. Has anyone else had this issue or know of any solutions to what seems to be a bug?

KCMI think this is an issue with the phone's proximity sensor (the one that turns the screen off when you hold it up to your ear). It's a bug that seems to occur when you switch to another app (any app) while still on a phone call. You'll notice in Messages that the screen goes dark when you move your thumb over the earpiece/iSight camera, but not when you move your other thumb.
Simplest solution is to force-quit the Messages app (double-click the home button, and swipe up on the app). The problem should resolve itself when you restart Messages. -
My new iPad camera just freezes up and does not store any photos. Also my photo folder did not populate from my backup. Is anyone else having the same issue. If so what can I do to get the camera to take and store the picture. I am running the lastest operating system version.
