Anyone Else had this one :)

Question

Quick version of the usual saga when calling India.
My speed drooped from around the normal 7Mb to around 240KB last Tues.
Call Faults Desk, there is nothing wrong with your line, umm this lasted about 20mins in the usual drivel, eventually speak to Teamleader, another test, no nothing is wrong, they can't explain fault, must be my equipment, but I've tried 3 PC's and 2 Routers I explain, contact the maker of your PC they say, I often wonder if the even listen while reading from their script.
More drivel, then they put me on to Complaints desk, they run a test, yes there is a fault on your line .. yippeee ..
we will upscale it and call you back in 48 hours, callback, your line is getting hot .. ummmm  this is a new one.
We will call back on Monday ( Today ) we are still working on the fault, there are server problems all over the UK with many customers having slow speed, lost connection, so they say ... no one else in my street has problems I tell them, but it'can only cause problems to certain users they say, moving into fantasy stories now .. lol
We will call back Wed, perhaps they hope my line will have cooled by then,
However, anyone else had problems, with this story from the Call centre ?

Yes it's a bit of a pain, seems BT are not even admitting faults.
