Anyone else have their cc hacked after purchasing an iPhone?

Question

My husband and I bought iPhones about a month ago, each using our own credit cards to make the purchases. Now within two days of each other our credit cards were hacked. When it happened to me over the weekend, I didn't think much of it. But now that it's happened to him I'm suspicious. He rarely uses that card, so for both of us to have the cards we used to purchase our iPhones hacked makes me extra suspicious.
Anyone else have this problem?

Another thing to consider is Citi bank itself.  Seriously, especially over the last five years or so, they have one of the worst credit card security records of any major bank.
Also, do you use those credit cards for any standing payments (cable bill, heat, electric, cell service, anything like that?).  If so, contact them as well and ask about any recent security breaches - companies will often not inform customers of potential breaches until quite some time after the fact.
