Anyone else having a hard time logging into synch accts?

Okay so for a few weeks now, im unable to use mobile to log into walmart and amazon accts. it always says the network connection is lost, even though no other pages have that problem, wifi or 3g is strong. Happens on both. And when i go through desktop, it always says:
We're Sorry.
Our system is having technical difficulty retrieving your information. Please try again later.
I have to do it like 3-4 times before it finally works. Annoying to say the least. I figured it was technical difficulties and would be fine in a week or two, but its still happening.

It happens =/ Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling will fix it. I didnt have it happen with my synch cards but it happen with my Chase and Discover, one fixed with a reinstall, the other fixed with the next update. (After a few weeks)

Having a hard time logging into Lion at my office

Hi folks,
I need some help here...
When I used to use Snow Leopard at work, I used to have a hard time logging into my iMac as a network user. If I logged in as an admin, the problem would go away. Knowing this, I made gave my network account admin privledges and all log-in issues for my account were solved.
Now I use Lion...
My user account still has me as admin, but , once again, am having issues logging into the iMac. A small flag is displayed next to where I would enter my user name, saying that network is unavailable. I cannot enter my name or password. I can move my mouse, but I cannot type. I thought the error was with the wireless keyboard, so I tethered one and still had the same issue.
Powering down, unplugging, replugging, and prayer (haha) seem to be the fix, but I have to repeat this process three or four times in order to log in.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is? Is anyone else having this issue at their place of business? I don't have these issues at home on my Lion installed Mac.

The firewall is off, under my security settings.
As for built in security from my office network, I do not know.

Issues when accessing iCloud.com from a Windows PC and logging in (sporadic problem), using Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc., or sending error reports when errors occur seems to be a common problem.
My recommendation is to download Apple’s Safari version 5.1.7 for Windows to access iCloud.com. It consistently works for me!!!! To make things easier with Safari, I made iCloud.com its Homepage. I’m using it to access iCloud.com from all of my PCs.
On my Windows 7 systems it appears that some add-ons are causing problems when you try to access iCloud.com with the 32-bit version of IE9, but the 64-bit version seems to work fine, more than likely because there are few add-ons that are 64 bit and the 64-bit version can't be the default browser in IE9. Norton Internet Security’s “Browser Protection” is what caused my iCloud.com issues when using IE9 32-bit.
Also, I just updated to IE10 on my Windows 7 Pro computer. Unlike IE9, IE10 seems to work well with iCloud.com, but IE10 does have a few issues in general. So, as mentioned, I’d use Safari as my dedicated interface to iCloud until all Windows and Internet Explorer issues are resolved.

Having a hard time signing into websites with Safari

Hi, I'm having a hard time signing in my username and password for e-mail addresses I use and for message boards as well. I use Safari all the time accept for my school website that requires IE. Anyways, I use Comcast and I have been trying to sign into my e-mail address name and everyime I click "sign in mail" Safari says "Safari Can't Open Page". So then, I went to my AIM mail to sign in there and then it said the same thing. Then I went to this Apple Forum to ask if anyone knows what the problem is, and then when I went to sign into here, the same thing. So right now I am using Camino, but can anyone help me with this problem or is anyone having the same problem as me? Thanks.

I too have been having a problem of logging into certain websites with a username and password. Instead of logging in successfully with Safari, a blank page or an error would occur.
This happened for: citibank, comcast, sprint, and miscellaneous other sites.
This problem apparently had something to do with my cookies since erasing my cookies seemed to solve the problem. Here's how to do it:
Safari -> Preferences...-> Security -> Show Cookies -> Remove All.

Is anyone else having issues with importing files into FCP X

Trying to import .mov files from older system into FCP X on a new iMac with Lion OSX. Anyone else having similar issues?

What kind of files are they?
You may open them in Quicktime Player, and do a "Get Info" on them, and post that information here.
It may be that they use some codec that FCP X can't handle.
If that is the case, use the excellent and free program MPEG Streamclip to save them to Quicktime format using the ProRes codec.

Is anyone else having long download times?

I bought an ipod for a trip and have been trying, since YESTERDAY, to download three movies. I STILL have over an hour of time remaining (a time which has barely budged). I have cable internet which is working very well.
Is this an itunes store problem? Is this a typical download time? If so, I just paid $350 for no reason because if I can't download movies, I might as well just use my nano.

Go to: Safari Preferences... and select the General tab.
1. Check to make sure that "New windows open with: Homepage"
2. Then if it still opens blank...? Select the Homepage page that you want Safari to open on and click the "Set to Current Page" button.

IPad with IOS 7 is suddenly unstable and crashes many times in a day. Had been very stable until 2 days ago no new apps added. Problem is worse on iPad 3 than on iPad 2. Anyone else having this problem? Possible answers or solutions?

Two days ago my iPad 3 and IPad 2 started to crash very unexpectedly. Both iPads have wifi and cellular and both are running iOS 7.0.2. I will be working and suddenly the screen just wipes to black and then the big white Apple appears as if I have done a hard reset. The iPads always come back, but the crashes and unexpected app closures are happening with greater frequency. It happens more with the iPad 3 than with the iPad 2. Until two day ago both iPads had been very stable. I don't keep a lot of apps open and I have plenty of GB of free space. I do hard resets after each event, doesn't help the situation. Did Apple do some kind of update to the OS in the last few days? I was just getting used to the new OS and this is very frustrating. Anyone else having this problem, have a possible answer or solution? Thanks for your help.

The post above is only partially true. There are many people that have install Mavericks over the top of a older version of OS X and haven't experiences any problem. Then of course there are others that have experiences many different problems.
Do you have a Time Machine backup from before you installed Mavericks? If you do, and you should, you can restore your system from that TM backup and then do a clean install of Mavericks on either an external drive or a second partition on your internal drive then use the Setup assistant system to copy over your setting files and apps from your older OS X version. You can then TEST that clean Mavericks install for any compatibilty problem before you commit to it totally.

My iphone 4s voice dictiation for text messages is not consistently working. I've had the phone since Thanksgiving and it always worked perfectly, but the last few weeks it's been hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this problem? I tried the hard reset but that hasn't fixed it.

I have the same problem since updating to IOS 8.3. Any app to which I want to send a new link via IMessage does not allow me to select a contact to send the IMessage to. Using a pre-existing thread does not have same problem.

MSN's latest update is crashing Firefox many times per day. When I try to send the crash report to Firefox, it says it has trouble sending the report. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting that can help?

Firefox is crashing every time I have my MSN email account up. (Since I use it for business, that's many times per day.) It seems to coincide with hotmail's latest update where the email is checked and downloaded to the inbox automatically. Then when it asks me if I want to send the crash report to Firefox, I select yes and it tells me it had trouble sending the report. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting I can change? I can't seem to keep my email account up for more than 10 minutes.
p.s if you're reading this Microsoft, it's still not bad enough to make me to go back to Internet Explorer!

I noticed that google was the app that was using it a lot, but after I turned the feature off for google my phone started using the “traffic”, “frequent locations” and “cell network search”. When I turn the feature off for all of those things it’s no longer a problem. So just wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone has a solution?

The "solution" is probably to increase your knowledge. You've done good things. Perhaps this article will educate you a bit more about location services.
Basically, they can be very useful, but can cause a lot of iPhone use. A major example is "Remind me to ... when I leave home."
