Anyone else's beat mapping not working?

Hi there, noticed yet another bug in Logic 9. I'm trying to do beat mapping according to a virtual instrument region (the last region in a song), and mapping Logic's quarter notes to their respective places results to a slightly different tempo than I anticipated - bpm is 990.
Well, the region has a free time ritardando (tempo drops from about 59 to 42 within two bars), but I've managed to map it on Logic 8. Unfortunately I'm not able to open the project in Logic 9, of course.
Any ideas, any hints, anyone?

Found a cure - at least it's working on my other computer: bounce the track using an instrument with sharp transients, do the beat mapping with that. I'll get the occasional "this would...", but just taking off the latest mapping and re-inserting it allows me to continue.
Midi region is still a no-go.

Camera, Browser & Maps Not Working

It been since yesterday my Z10 camera, broser & maps not working.
Whenever I click the camera icon, it is not even opening.
Browser icon had changed, it turned to a triangle square & circle.
Can anyone help me out.

I have an older iMac 5,1 and the disc drive no longer works. I was hoping that I could the Apple USB super drive as a replacement, but the info on the super drive page says compatible with iMac 2012 or later. Does anyone know why it would not work for me?

A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it." Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct 25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.

One of our client want to set Alternate Access Mappint (intranet) with url "intranet.theirDomain.com" with local IP address.
is it possible?

The names for the zones don't matter. You could use the 'extranet' zone for another intranet name if you wanted, the names are just to make it a bit more friendly for beginners.
What you describe sounds routine, you create a web application with a name, then use an AAM to allow users to access it with a more friendly name. Frequently you end up creating
http://intranet.domain.com and
http://intranet as an AAM, or vice versa.
You can use .com for an intranet site, you would need to add the site as an A Host record in your DNS server so that traffic is sent to your internal server rather than out into the wider world.

Value mapping not working properly

Here travel_mode is coming perfect, but designation is same as defined in source payload. Why here Value mapping not working???

Hi Rashmi,
The problem would either be in cache update or your mapping. Please provide the sceenshot of mapping (after clicking the value mapping function).
you can also choose the option to throw error in value mapping function, so it will throw error when value not found.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Maps.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

I have a problem with Firefox when trying to use Street View in Google Maps. It basically kills the browser by being extremely slow. Now, this happens only when using SNA acceleration (default), but not with UXA or GLAMOR (just removed on latest update or xf86-video-intel). Everything else works fast and good with SNA, including WebGL in Firefox. Moreover, with Chromium I don't have this issue: Street View works fine with SNA.
This is an Intel based laptop with Gen5 Intel graphics (and in case it matters, I use KDE desktop):

FDM Conditional mapping not working

I currently have the following #script as my map in FDM. The first part of the map is not working as all the 9* source accounts are mapping to "70111". The rule should be; with any source account of "9*", with a source profit center where the 3rd digit is "??1???", then account is "43905", else "70111".

Not sure why the first result is not working...anyone have any suggestions?

I think I may have seen this question answered previously but in case....
Your IF statement is comparing the first 3 characters to "1" so it will never match.
Assuming that you want to compare the 3rd character then you want If Mid(varValues(23),3,1) = "1" Then

GetObject(int, Map) not working with oracle JDBC

I'm using Oracle and I'd like to get Date fields as Timestamps since an Oracle date column includes time. I'm trying to use getObject(int, Map) to map the types to Java objects, but it's not working. This is my code:

Well, I'd like it to be java.sql.Timestamp instead of
java.sql.Date. My actual type is an oracle "DATE".
Are you saying the Map key for this would be
"TIMESTAMP" and that by default it maps to
java.sql.Date? Doesn't seem like that makes sense.I am saying that "TIMESTAMP" is not an oracle value but is instead a JDBC value. Thus it is up to to the driver, not you, to determine what oracle types map to the JDBC type.

Google maps not working properly

Has anyone else noticed this recently. Google maps does not seem to (or incorrectly) locates the wrong addresses from my contacts. It worked fine a week ago. I have noticed on some of the contacts, google will change the address during the search or can't find the address, including my home address which it identified perfectly before. Is this a software issue with google, or an iphone issue? Also in the past when I used goog 411 (free directory), it would send a text with the phone number and a map link so that I could locate the place I got the phone number for. The link does not seem to find the location anymore on the map. I really liked this feature.

Iphone 3G maps not working (cell triangulation)

Hi,
I have a iphone 3G which I picked up on release day. Recently I have been trying to use the Maps feature for looking up my location. This works fine when I'm outside in the open, and GPS finds me instantly and accurately.
When I'm in my home or office though the cell triangulation simply doesn't work. For example, I am currently at the office. I have my 3g iphone on and with a perfect strong 3g signal (I'm in central London by the way). When I click the target button in the bottom left corner of the maps application, I get the spinning wheel and nothing else. It's been spinning for 15 minutes now.
I also have a work BlackBerry Curve with me. If I use Google Maps on that, and find my location, it finds me instantly although about 100m out. This is a EDGE BlackBerry with strong signal on the same 02 network.
On the iphone I have location services set to on, and reset location warnings but neither has helped.
Anyone else getting this problem?

Me too, and judging by posts on the net, so an awful lot of other people! It is not technically feasible that this is all hardware failure, but no-one at Apple seems to be coming up with suggestions. A lot of us want to pass on our old iPhones (which are, after all, a quality product aren't they...), but we have a problem dong so.
Is it connected to a SIM without a data contract?

Airport NAT/Port Mapping not working :(

Hey kids,
I've recently scored myself a time capsule and I'm totally loving the time machine functionality, but the airport extreme part is causing me a little bit of grief!
I commonly use applications like transmission and play online games etc, not to mention usually have personal web sharing enabled for work etc.
Since i've installed the extreme i've had loads of issues getting ports to forward outside the local network!
The old router I had (a belkin one) did all this stuff with no hitch at all.
As an example, if I launch say, transmission my port status is apparently "stealth" even though i've got the automatic setup enabled. If I load the airport utility and manually forward the port no difference is made.
Additionally, if I enable web sharing and choose the web sharing service from the airport utility drop down the same stuff happens... port 80 isn't made available from outside the network
Has anyone else run into these issues?

Really frustrated with this problem. Does anybody at least know how to debug the problem ?
