Anyone else still having iOS 8.1 Bluetooth Connection issues.

Hi there just wanted to see if anyone is still having the Vehicle "Hands Free" Connection issues via Bluetooth on the iPhone 6? I drive a 2009 Acura TL and I am still having the connection issue. Oddly enough before the 8.1 update I was running 8.0.2 and it worked fine. Now when I get in my car and the phone connects it cripples the entire system. It won't allow me to change to the USB mode for my connected iPod and when I try to place a call via the "Hands Free" system it beeps as if it is activating and then does nothing.
I have tried everything that I can think of with no results. I was hoping there was someone out there with the same car or similar having the same problem that might have found a fix. Chime in and let me know.

I am having similar problems with Bluetooth connectivity but not with a car. I use a Planatronics Legend. Everytime that a call comes in, my Legend announces the call then immediately disconnects from my iPhone. All of this started after upgrading to ios 8.1.
Apple should not advertise fixes to problems without truly confirming the repairs.

Except that in my case, if I take a shot in landscape with the volume button on the top, it's the *left* side of the photo which is completely out of focus (for portrait pictures, that would be the bottom part).

the vz messaging app is garbage.Thats probably why no tech support people have replied to your question yet. I had similar issues & decided to disable it. May i suggest you download 'textra' or even hangouts?

I am still having issues trying to redeem my free upgrade to lion on an iMac purchased 10th June. I still get "serial number not found" or "ineligible serial number"
I have called apple 3 times and they have basically said they dont know what the problem is and aren't doing anything about it.... they keep saying "were investigating" but methinks not! I know there were issues of this nature on launch day but even Apple admit they have been resolved.
I'm very dissapointed with their customer services' can't do attitude. It may be easier to just pay the £21 in the app store but it's the principle of the matter.
Does anyone still have issues like this? what should I do next?...... wait? call apple again? or just throw all my gear that bears an Apple logo on ebay and be done with it?

you don't need to import that way ...
the option that you chose was actually for "folders into a project" ...
you can't grab just the images from there (folders only), choose the import -> images -> option instead ...

Anyone else still having iMessage issues?

I was having major problems yesterday then last night all was well. Now this morning my imessages have reverted to being sent as text messages.

There are a lot of posts here so I assume that there is still lingering problems. Just sit tight I'm sure they will get it sorted out soon.

Mine was activated out of nowhere and of course there is no easy option to turn it off. Its in the international setting...what is that even for?? Its preventing me from organizing my apps, can anyone shed some light on this?

In my business we go from Beta to Pilot, to GR. How does Apple give it to the masses and call it Beta. Are they so self confident that they can take the hit?
I often ask it to call xxxx, and it just times out. The other issue is that when it does work, if it works, the lag time from command to execution makes it not functional. If one of the goals is to make it safer for me while I travel, Apple has made it worse since I ultimately have to pick up the phone and dial manually. I did get a surprise answer the other day when I asked Siri a math question from my 11yr old's math homework.
1 out of 50 times it works. So far I have to give Apple a 10+ for Marketing, and a 1 for execution.
Don't even get me started on ICloud set up and support help.

I don't understand why Siri won't work as seamless for me as instructed or as reported by other users. I simply want to send text messages using Siri and it never seems to work. I usually say something like, "Tell_____, I am on my way. 98% of the time it thinks I am saying, call so & so. It rarely ever works the 1st time. The only way I can get it to work is if I say Send Message, than once Siri goes thru what she has to say, I have to answer to who, than confirm I want to send. This whole process takes like 45 seconds instead of taking 15. Everyone makes this seem so easy to use but I can't get it to work as advertised. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have any tips?

Is anyone else still having there iMessages fail to send on iPhone 4?

Ever since the iOS 7 started I've had nothing but problems with my iMessage. I have to sign out of iMessage restart my phone and then sign back in. Even then it only works for a few hours, and then I start the whole process over again. My software is 7.0.4 on an iPhone 4.

I upgraded to OS 7.0.4 in October and am not able to text my son. It is frustrating. I called ATT and they referred me to Apple. I keep getting a text back from 1-1-216-116-11 that I need to resend using a valid number. I have tried erasing my iphone and then restoring it,but nothing. I am so frustrated. Do we need to file a class action or what???

I had something like this happen to my phone. I restarted my phone (holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time) and that seemed to help the problem.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Yes, BUT...
... there are many problems that are really easy to eliminate by replacing the Hard drive, including ones that have nothing to do with actual Drive Hardware failure. These include corrupted install of Mac OS X, its EFI partition, clobbered partition tables, or the appearance of Bad Blocks in a critical area.
Any of these problems can sometimes be eliminated by re-initializing the entire drive and writing Zeroes, and re-installing from scratch. The trouble is, this process takes hours to complete, and is not guaranteed to be successful -- you may still need a new drive after all that effort.
I learned from my Plumber that consumers have no appetite for solutions that might work, and detest return visits for any related problems whatsoever. You or your friend may have had your drive replaced, not because it actually failed, but because the situation was troublesome, and the provider thought you would not tolerate anything less than a crisp, complete fix on the first attempt. And based on the cost of technician time, it may have even been cheaper that way.

Or am I the only one? I activated my phone on 12/30/12 and still have not received Android 4.1.1 as of 2/4/13! I know VZW is rolling out Jelly Bean over time, but this is ridiculous! I went to the Verizon store the other day, but they were of little help and told me to call Samsung!!! I routinely check the "software update" section on my phone, only to receive a "no update available" message. My phone is stock, but is one of the "developer edition" phones directly from Samsung that runs baseband version I535OYLG1. Still, I don't think that should make a difference, given that I have a Verizon activated SIM card and have not done anything to the phone (apologies to the moderator for previously mentioning terms banned by Verizon TOS... terms have since been removed from this post). The only thing that's different from the phones sold directly through Verizon (supposedly) is the unlocked bootloader. If anyone else is having the same, or a similar, experience, I'd appreciate any advice... or at the very least, just respond to this message so that we can complain together

Without proper system information nobody can tell you anything. there could be any number of reasons why the download gets corrupted from virus scanners accessing the files and damaging them to your harddrive being damaged or fragmented to a bad network connection already corrupting it... Check al lthat stuff, turn off the pertinent components, clean up your drive.

I have let it load until NFCU asks me if I want to cancel the session, a much to long of a load time. Has anyone else reported having this issue with NFCU or Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18?
I have also posed the question to NFCU, currently awaiting response and will share what was given.
