I would like to see multiple white balance points as an option when color balancing.

I would like to see a brush that would apply a different white balance to an area; e.g. incandescent auditorium lighting with projection screen needing separate balance. Similarly, a brush that would apply effects within a clickable or shaped border would greatly help.
Also, superimposing two images as layers would really help; e.g. for HDR effects, etc., without exporting to external editor.

Seriously, why to I need to trip over Twitter everywhere I go in iOS 5? I dont use it, i didn't activate it in settings, I don't even like it... why is it there? Twitter is only cool among Jr Highers and middle eastern revolutionaries.. for everyone else, it's worn out. Why do the rest of us have to pay for the Jobs/Zuckerberg peeing contest by drowning in Twitter prompts? The twitter needs to fly south.

Well, i guess if you'd rather identify more with jr highers than with revolutionaries somebody needs to get you all riled up about something!! ...just tryin' to start a revolution bru!
FYI, i don't know of a single person over the age of 15 who uses twitter (except for adults who are trying to seem "hip" to the 15 year olds...). I guess it's the same reason why the top 25 apps on the app store are always games... iOS is mostly used by children... and adults who act like children. I think I'll start a Twitter trend to organize a rally to bring down Twitter! MUUAAHHHAHAHAHA... haha... ha.
Tertiarrily, maybe you need something better to do with your time than troll support forums looking for threads to lament ... I'm sure there are plenty of spelling mistakes on Wikipedia needing to be corrected!

Aperture 3 - Multiple White Balance Presets

Just installed the Aperture 3 Trial and found that on the Adjustments pane, I'm seeing to White Balance preset flyouts under the Presets dropdown. The entries on each of these flyout menus are different. Plus, I can't see what the actual settings are for each preset when I try to edit. Any idea what's going on?

I think I may have answered my own questions. It looks like Aperture 3 provided it's own presets for White Balance and it imported the one's I created in Aperture 2, but put them under a second White Balance flyout. That explains mystery number one.
Regarding the ability to see the values included in the preset, they used to show up in the edit window. Now it looks like the only way to see them is to select them and see the settings they apply in the Adjustments pane.
Can anyone confirm these behaviors?

Well, it doesn't work consistently here. I have Dock Hiding on. When a screen does not contain a full screen app, it works fine. Moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen (where I have the dock) pops up the dock as expected. If the screen has a full screen app in place (usually Mail or Safari), the behaviour is very inconsistent. Moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen, waving it back and forth, up and down, with the odd click, will bring up the dock in maybe 10 to 15% of attempts. Take the app out of full screen, and it works perfectly. Put it back in full screen, stops working. This is a new MacBook Pro with 10.7.1
Any ideas welcome. Meanwhile, Im getting used to the four finger squeeze to bring up the Launcher.

When is sunlight, absolutely. Not a problem with the Droid Ultra but rather all phones.
You ever see the commercial about the Nook devices. The have a special screen to reduce glare allowing you to see your screen in sunlight.
As far as I know, companies have not implemented this on anycell phone.
There are after market anti-glare screen protectors
Check Amazon or eBay, they should be relatively inexpensive.

At places where I live where something like this might be need all they offer is 3G 20 GB plan. Kind of useless. I can get the 4G 20 GB plan at my address, but not the unlimited plan. Doesn't matter since I can get 30 Mbps from Charter with a 250 GB cap for $50 a month anyway. Speaking of their "unlimited" plan. I love how "unlimited" is actually 50 GB. Talk about false advertising.
My account is unlimited so why is there an issue if I go over 50GB?

Really? 50 GB is just 20 minutes of Netflix a day. I can't even remember the last time we used under 50 GB a month. Just 19 days into the month and we are at 67 GB and that's a low month for us.

I don't think it's possible to edit a slideshow and the accompanying thumbnails and caption/labels through in browser editing. Does anyone else want that?

You can edit slideshow hero images with thumbnails and captions through In browser editing. Are you facing any issue while editing those ?
Please provide details and screenshot which will help us to identify the issue.

Anyone else want to try ck's new BFS patch in linux-ck

CK added skip lists into bfs and would like some folks to bang on it for testing purposes. I have added an option in linux-ck's PKGBUILD for you to enable it. Anyone else out there wanna give it a try?
Default option is disabled, so just change the "n" to "y" in this config flag and compile:
_skiplist_bf="n"
I propose using this thread for discussion and CK's blog to post your bugs if you find any.

I'm accustomed to using my left middle finger to click and my two right first fingers to scroll & move arrow.
That's a very bad habit. As stated, dragging or clicking with two fingers triggers gestures. One finger only! The left finger being used for clicks is okay-ish, though it seems clumsy to me. I just use my right thumb to click. As I said, the OS is smart enough not to interpret a thumb (or other finger) as a second finger and invoke a gesture when clicking, but you can't leave that finger on the pad (except when dragging while holding down the mouse button).
If you're unable to adjust to that, you'll need a mouse. But a mouse is an extra thing to carry on your trip to Europe, and if you get a wireless mouse, you'll have to juggle batteries as well. I'd strongly advise working hard to learn how to use the trackpad so you don't have such things to deal with.
If you do decide to buy a mouse, I have no recent experience with a mouse. (I personally hate mice with a passion... I have been using trackballs, and even a very simple primitive trackpad, since about 20+ years ago.) So I can't recommend a specific brand. I will say that you should avoid Apple's Magic Mouse, whose upper surface works similarly to the trackpad in that it recognizes gestures. As to wired vs wireless, wireless can be more convenient, but there are problems such as batteries to contend with.

I want to see multiple pins on Maps app. Is this possible?

Basically, I would love to be able to click on Maps app on my iphone, and depending on where I am, see the map and any bookmarks I have saved in my phone. For example, if I wanted to pin all my contacts on a map and see pins on where they are, but ALWAYS stay there. It's also usefull for places you want to remember, that you walk by, for example. I want the pins to stay there..even if I exit the map. Let's say for example I have errands to run. So I look up the 6 places I need to go to on my bike, then make pins for them so the next day I can open up my maps app and, voila, there they are.
I've tried bookmarking pins, but this doesn't work. After a while the pins disappear. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

I would LOVE a solution that allowed to see, perhaps greenish pins? that pull from your bookmarks. I usually drop a pin when i find a handy wifey. SSID+Street & Street

Anyone else want the sidebar back?

The iTunes program used to have a sidebar that made navigation pretty easy for me. I dislike this move toward a full screen window of icons. I've known they didn't like the sidebar for some time as they kept hiding it the option to show it, and now they've removed it forever. I know, I'm whining because I don't want to learn a new way to do things. I just liked the fact that I got all the information I needed, number of apps to update which phone was plugged in, or even a show that I had yet to watch, all in one place. The new way just seems cumbersome. I'll learn it, as I don't have much choice, but I'd rather it have stayed an option.

Go through each of the sources Music, Movies etc. and select Playlists. Use the ellipsis ... to enable sources. Apps, Tones, and Internet Radio don't have a Playlists button, the others do and remember your selection. Not exactly the same as the old sidebar, but not too different.

When I click to open a second window in Firefox it opens a new tab but I can't see the windows side by side concurrently.

I had that add on and it didn't solve the problem. I cannot put two
tabs side by side to compare slides. I hate to go back to IE but so far outside no longer supported Safari is the only answer. Thank you anyway.

Imessage never deletes messages and shows them to anyone who wants to see them

here's the problem that in my opinion can cost millions of $$ in court for Apple:
iMesage never deletes conversations. If you delete a converstion from the list, it is still cached on the device. Problem is present in iOS6 & iOS7.
Do the following:
1) spotlight settings should have messages selected for search results
2) open Messages.app and delete a conversation that had iMessages there
3) open spotlight and search for something that the dialog contained
*not everything will be found though, I guess it doesn't cache everything or delete the oldest / doesn't cache the newest nessages fast*
4) you will be surprised when your deleted conversation shows up
5) for an even more unpleasant surprise, turn off and log out from imessage. Your conversations will still be displayed in spotlight.
Best words to look up on your significant other's iDevice: dear, kiss, love etc.
6) To make things even more interesting, spotlight will neither display the sender of the message (i.e. if it is a message or reply from your contact), nor the date. Plus it picks phrases out of context in such a way, that they will look more than interesting.
P.S. iMessage ruined my relationship with a girlfriend. Should I mention how angry I am?
P.P.S. the only way to stop iMessage from hijacking deleted conversations and terrorising you is to do a clean restore of the device. Set it up as new. Cached messages are backed up - if you restore from backup, they will still be there.

You said you text a lot - if your inbox and sent message folder is FULL, it could also cause delays. Try deleting messages, then restart the phone. It should work until the folders are full; then delete and restart, or just delete your messages every day.

Is anyone else having problems with multiple displays?

I have to set my display arrangement on every reboot every since Mountain Lion (clean install). I have 3 24" Apple Cinemea Displays connected to 3 Nvidia GT120s. I have a friend with a Mac Pro as well and 3 displays having the same problem.
It doesn't seem to be an issue when I only use 2 displays.
Thing I've tried:
Delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.xxx
Safe boot reconfig.
Physical display rearanging.
SMC reset, PRAM and NVRAM reset.
Clear system cache and kernel extennsion cache (via Onyx)
This has to be an easier fix than I'm making it.

I am having this problem too.
I currently only have 2 monitors, but have had 3 active in the past; I mention this in passing just in case there is come obscure system preference hidden away that it causing the issue!
I am running the primary monitor off one of the two ports on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
The secondary monitor is run off the NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
This problem has only occurred since updating to Mountain Lion.
It happens between shutdown cycles, not resets.
