Anyone ever had blocks in their video?

For those of you who have helped me in the past -- thanks, and you know I am slowly getting familiar with PrPro CS4, but I'd ask your indulgence again with this novice question!
I am doing a highlight video and the raw footage is from a Sony HD camcorder -- when I put it into my video timeline (or when I preview it), it come out with blocks...almost like pixelated...it's doesn't ruin the video by any means...but it does degrade the quality -- I know this is potentially one of those "open a can of worms" becuase it could be so many different things, but I was wondering if anyone had a good "quick and dirty" about resolution...if in fact...that may be the problem (ie -- am I using the wrong project settings somehow, or...do you just NEVER resize video...??)

Downrezzing is OK, uprezzing is bad.
HD from a Sony can be many things, HDV, AVCHD, XDCAM-EX, XDCAM HD, or other formats. So what is it?
What are your sequence settings on what OS with what version and how do you judge quality, on a properly calibrated external monitotr? What have you done to your clips, what effects, transitions, scaling, etc.?

Has anyone ever had an email from Apple on IPad asking them to update their account details? The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Has anyone ever had a problem with their iphone 4 not syncing and/or writing a backup file? Itunes locks up when i attempt a sync as well as when I transfer my purchases from my phone to Itunes. I'm running Itunes 10.4.1 on iOS 4.3.5. All of this is running on an 8 year old hp pavillian laptop running XP Pro that is fully updated. Could my phone have a bug or a hardware problem. Are there any known problems with iOS 4.3.5? Pretty frustrating problem so I'm hoping that someone has heard of this and can offer some suggestions on a solution. Thanks a bunch.

Did you used to have service and now suddenly you don't?
This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.

I have the same problem theres dark spots under the screen and it no longer works. Ipod will not fix it even though i took very good care of my ipod and it dosent even have the slightest scratch on the exterior. I think ipod should fix this because it is obviously a defect and not caused by abuse.

Anyone ever try jogging with their 30 Gig 5th Generation?

Right now I am on the fence about getting an 8gig nano or 30 gig iPod because they are the same price. I do some jogging, and am interested if anyone ever had problems with the hard drive skipping.

I recommend getting the 30gb 5G. I have the 60gb 5G and have jogged with it frequently. I elect to hold it in my hand while jogging for two reasons. First to reduce any risk of skipping, and second, to be able to adjust the volume easily as needed (I elect not to do volume leveling). My case keeps it isolated from the effects of perspiration.
Despite jogging with it numerous times, it's never skipped.

You have to go into your Gmail account settings.
Then Security.
Then turn ON 2-Step Verification
Follow the instructions to link a cell phone to your google account. They will text you a secondary code and once you've entered that your 2-step verification will be set up.
Then you should have the option on the bottom of the page to add a device. Call it apple tv and then it will generate a secondary code specifically for your Apple TV.
On the Apple TV itself, ultimately I think you have to enter just the first part of your e-mail address (before the @gmail.com) as your Youtube login username.
Then you should enter your gmail account password.
Apple TV will tell you it is incorrect.
Then, retry and enter the long secondary password that google generated for the apple tv.
That should do it.
