Anyone experience with ZKPP_FLEX_UPL_BATCH ?

Hi all,
We are trying to set up the Planning module in 4.6 C. We would like to use transaction GLPLUP to upload planning from Excel files. The problem is, this transaction doesn't work in background.
We found an OSS note which advised us to implement program ZKPP_FLEX_UPL_BATCH. We did that, and if we use .txt files as input files it works fine. But if we use .csv files we get a message that the file has been read correctly but the figures are not posted into the Special Ledger... and if we read the same file with GLPLUP the figures are posted without problems.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks in advance,
Ioana

Hi,
I implemented the OSS note 650345 and have been trying to load PLAN DATA.  I get a Pland data has been updated message, but when I look at the planning layout, nothing has been updated.  Basically what I did was:
1. Made a copy of G_FLEX_UPL (ZG_FLEX_UPL).
2. Substitued include "RKCDPUS1" with "zrkcdpus1_batch" (from OSS note)
3. Substitued include "kpp_flex_upl_40_sos" with "zrkc_flex_upl_sos_batch2" (from OSS note)
I can upload my plan data file using GLPLUP.   When I use the same data file (from the file server) using ZG_FLEX_UPL the files is being picked up and processed, I get a green light, but the planning data doesn't get updated.
Please help.

  • Anyone experience with CISIS to Oracle integration?

    Greetings,
Long time ago non-relational databases were based on ISIS or CISIS. Later on came WINISIS.
We have a non-relational CISIS database running on Ubuntu 9.
The target is to update the ISIS database with records from an Oracle 10G (rdbms) database.
Has anyone have experience with such a CISIS database? Or even better an integration between Oracle RDBMS and CISIS?
    Many thanx.

I'de prefer a realtime integration, but don't thing it's possible with current data.
So for starters a batch process.
    Most usefull document so far:
    http://bvsmodelo.bvsalud.org/download/cisis/CISIS-ManualReferencia-en-5.2.pdf
From a flatfile in certain format a new database can be created.
    Challanges I'm facing right now:
    - add a field to a database/table (database and table seem to be the same)
    - search constraint (field = value)
    - update a record or delete and insert newly
I thought of a Oracle client install next to CISIC database to get a flatfile containing all new and changed records from the Oracle database. Then do an import into CISIS.
    Main difference:
    - columns are numbered, not named.
    - one record can several occurances/values in one column
    - a column can have subcolumns
With these 2 last lines, it is possible to create a table within a table.

  • Anyone experience with Oracle Release Management?

    Hi,
I don't know in which forum to post this, but Order Management seems to be most appropriate.
I am looking for someone with experience in Oracle Release Management. We are an Automotive company and a couple of our customers use EDI and we have many repeating orders / schedules. We don't have EDI set up yet, that's planned for later. We were wondering if it makes sense to start using Release Management. What we have in mind is to use the Release Workbench to enter Order Schedules faster than in OE/OM.
However, even after reading the implementation & user manual this is still very unclear to me... What features are worth to be used with and without EDI etc. How does it fit in the whole concept and what benefits it can bring.
I am looking for someone who has experience in this area and is willing to share some knowledge. Anyone here from companies that use this module?
Btw., we are using eBusiness Suite 11i (11.5.10.2) and have Order Management and a couple of other modules heavily used.
    Thanks,
    David.

Well your question is from a few years back, but I am still curious if you had any answers? If so would you be so kind to share those with me? I am currently more or less in a same position. We want to use Release Management to prefent of releasing orders when a customer is beyond his forecast, but I have no idea if we can do it with this module.

  • Has anyone experience with Shared Secrets and Time Machine?

I'm using Shared Secrets password manager. I'm trying to get it from my time machine backups on my new (secondhand though) mac.
But... it shows up as an empty version. I'm dreading having lost all my passwords...
    Has anyone good advice please?

According to the information on this page the required Aircard 580 card is NOT compatible with any version of the Mac OS. Which is really odd since the banner across the top of the page proclaims "wireless, mobile web access for your mac". Perhaps they intend for you to buy a compatible phone and use Bluetooth connectivity to allow the phone to act as a modem for your Mac.
The built-in wireless of your Mac does not allow you to connect directly to cellular networks like BlueMobility.
After some more digging... I found this page which supposedly lists the Mac compatible options.

  • Has anyone experience with plugging off the receiver when not in use?

I have the feeling that the receiver is always running, although it is technically turned off. Is this normal? If yes, then it means that it is using a lot of electrictiy all the time, because it is really warm when I touch it. Can I completely plug it out each time I turn it off?
    Thx for your tips

  • Anybody experience with SAP Reliable Messaging (SAP-RM) from BizTalk?

Experience with SAP Reliable Messaging (SAP-RM) from BizTalk?
Has anyone experience with using SAP Reliable Messaging (SAP-RM) between BizTalk and SAP’s Enterprise Services?
SAP’s Enterprise Services can be synchronous request/reply, what SAP calls A2X.  But many of SAP’s Enterprise Services are one-way, asynchronous. When not using SAP’s own integration solution (SAP Process Integration), SAP refers
to the use of either WS-ReliableMessaging (WS-RM) or SAP ReliableMessaging (SAP-RM). With BizTalk not supporting WS-ReliableMessaging (and not its persistent version), SAP-RM is the way to go.
    More info about “SAP-RM” @ http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAPConn/Plain+SOAP

I have searched, but didn't find any resources related with SAP Reliable Messaging (SAP-RM) from BizTalk, only found the resources about Web Services Reliable Messaging. I hope it will help you.

Has anyone experience with Adobe After Effects and FCE. Does it work together?
    WA

They will work together. There is no export to or send to function or no XML function to go to AE but the media will work in AE and the finished product can be brought into FCE.

  • Photoshop cs6 won't allow me to highlight my existing text layers. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Photoshop cs6 won't allow me to highlight my existing text layers. I select the text tool and the text layer I want to edit, hover over text and each time I attempto to edit a new layer is created. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Be sure you go to Adobe's Web Site and make sure there are no Updates for CS6
    http://www.adobe.com
Remember if you have trouble with a software issue it is the software and not caused by the Mac you are using
Many users simply don't remember when you upgrade software you normally have to go to 3rd party web sites and update software as well.

  • Anyone got experience with Filemaker and Mac OSX v10.4 on a G5

I am in the transition period from PPC to Intel, and installation of Aperture. My main box is an Apple G5 DP running OSX 10.3.9 and I have the upgrade software to go to OS 10.4+ but have not yet installed it. I also have a recent Intel MacBook Pro running 10.4.9.
Problem I'm experiencing is not unusual. If I run the current OS I cant run Aperture in the G5. If I upgrade the OS I suspect I will 'leave behind' some of the other software I rely on.
My query is about one main piece of software I use - Filemaker Pro 5.5 which runs a database I created handling my analog image collection, client info, deliveries and invoices, accounts etc. It works cleanly and quickly and allows great flexiblity in preparing material for output.
I downloaded the trial of Filemaker Pro 9 and it didn't like my old database when I tried to import it into the Intel laptop, and many functions seemed to have gone awol in the conversion to the newer software.
I cant experiment with this in the G5 as Filemaker is a key management tool in my work and any complications I need to overcome will impact seriously on my work.
So my question is - anyone got any experience with Filemaker in G5's - if I go to OSX10.4 upwards on this non-Intel machine will Filemaker V5.5 still run? And if not, are there any ways around this - eg using Classic environment?

*"I go to OSX10.4 upwards on this non-Intel machine will Filemaker V5.5 still run?"*
    Yes

  • Does anyone have experience with unzipping a password-encrypted ZipFile??

Does anyone have experience with unzipping a password-encrypted ZipFile??
My Zip Class works fine with every unencrypted file, but when I try to open an encrypted one, i get an error Message ("Encrypted ZIP entry not supported")
Is ist impossible to unzip encrypted ZIPs???

I've searched around a little bit and THIS IS THE SOLUTION!
There is a (beta)version of winzip8 that uses a cli (command line interface)
So, all you have to do is to implement a Runtime.getRuntime().exec(...) in your java program to call winzip8 and pass the zipfile path and the password.
    Here's the URL: http://www.winzip.com/wzcline.htm

There's no reason for a standard external USB hard drive enclosure not to work on a Mac. The technology is an industry standard. As you don't link to the specific item, we can't say anything about the quality, ect... but I guess for $1 you don't have much to loose. So long as you're sure the drive you have is an older IDE drive (as most drive for the past few years have been SATA). I guess that may be why they're selling so cheap as IDE drives are pretty rare in notebooks anymore.
