Anyone experiencing problems with Jan 8, 2013 Acrobat update?

I use Adobe Actobat 9 PRO, Version 9.5.2 on a Windows 7 machine and the Jan 8, 2013 update causes the Adobe PDF printer driver to hang during the spooling process.  I have restored my computer to a time prior to the update and everything works fine after the restore.  I have done this twice with the same result.  Anyone else experiencing problems with this update?

  • Is anyone experiencing problems with anchor links moving after updating to Muse 2014?

I just happened to check my website and my CONTACT anchor link is not working. The image and contact info has moved to a different part of the page and I can't seem to get it to work properly. Here's the website: soleilnyc.com

Yes, I have noticed the sucking more power issue.  We also can't connect to the iTunes store anymore on either ipad we own after the upgrade.  All the tips provided in the forums have not worked.  I hope Apple peeps are paying attention to this... they are losing money!!  I can't buy my stuff on iTunes, so I went to Amazon.com.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Don't download MacKeeper. Users complain about this app and it damages OS X. Also, Mac OS X knows how to take care of itself, so you don't need any other cleaning application that may damage OS X. See > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691

  • D800 file compatibility:  Has anyone experienced problems with loading D800 files onto the iPad using the camer connector kit?  I have tried both RAW and JPEG using SDHC and CF cards and the iPad(3) doesnt recognise any of the files.

Has anyone experienced problems with downloading Nikon D800 files to the iPad3 using the camer connector kit?  I have tried .RAW and JPEG (of various sizes) on both SD and CF cards, but the iPad doesn't recognise the files.
I have seen various forums discussing Lightroom and PSE updates that are required to process .NEF files but I can't find anything on the iPad/camera connector issue.
I dont have any problem if I put the SD card straight into the SD slot in my iMac and Aperture will process the files fine, but I would really like to be able to download and view files on the move on the iPad.
    Any advice appreciated?
PS - saw something that suggested the iPad had a maximum file size of 16mb for photos, not sure if this is correct, but I have tried smaller JPEG files and they still aren't recognised.

If your camera supports both PTP and Mass Storage Device modes, it may be necessary to use both modes to import all media content.
If some files do not import as expected using one mode, try switching to the other mode and importing again.
Note: Some cameras may refer to PTP as Pictbridge or PTP/Pictbridge.

is anyone experiencing problems with opening mission control from the desktop.  Running mountain lion with parallels 7 and windows 7

I had been having a similar problem on Lion with Safari pdf files despite downloading the latest Adobe Reader XI.
I would constantly get the same messages - There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired. And I would get a blank page when I tried to print the pdf if I tried printing from the Safari web page using File - Print from the top toolbar on my laptop.
Then I came across the grey Safari lozenge with action icons.
This allowed me, without downloading the pdf, to print the pdf file direct from the Safari page by using the Print icon on the grey lozenge that appears centrally three quarters down the screen.
Then I discovered that if I save the pdf using the Save icon from this same grey lozenge on the Safari page I can open and print this pdf version from my desktop.
I've tested it with a couple of different pdf files and these methods work using the grey lozenge icons but the same pdfs files don't work using File - Save As on the Tool Bar.

Is anyone having problems with the stock widget not updating?

Widgets unfortunately have gone by the wayside since Apple introduced the App Store a couple years ago.  No widget has received any official recognition in the Apple listing of Widgets since that time.  So it is entirely possible the widget has gotten redirected.   There are many other Apps for stocks.  I personally like the Nasdaq Quote website since it knows mutual funds and other markets as well.

  • Anyone experiencing problems with USB2.0 accessories failing to be compatible with mini's USB3 connections.

I am being informed by the manufacturer's Customer Support Technician in reference to where their USB2.0 device is being referred to as a possible cause of incompatability with my mini's USB3 connection, and I quote: "They are supposed to be "backwards compatible" but some users devices are working fine with those ports for periods of time (months, weeks, days) and then just mysteriously not working one day, so be cautious of trusting Apple's marketing." and he further suggests using a USB2 hub to be compatible. Because of this incompatability this device ( $200 plus tax,) is being rendered inoperable for the the main facility for which I purchased it.
I'd be pleased to hear reactions from others on the validity of this claim and whether it is or should be incumbent on manufacturers of devices that are produced solely for use with Apple products that they should at least be compatible ( USB3 ) with those products and especially if it is known that the use of USB2 can create problems.   Thank you.

I had no sooner posted, and I had second thoughts about third party "routers". I happen to be using the Bell Fibe TV system and their receivers, I have three, operate similar to routers in that they operate in conjunction with each other. If you set up a recording on one that recording will also appear on the other two. And it so happens that the device I am experiencing problems with happens to be attached to one of those receivers and it happens to prevent that receiver from making a recording that is separate from the recordings made by the PVR in that receiver.

    3. Microsoft does not not support CalDAV and CardDAV in Outlook, so there is no way to sync directly through iCloud, except perhaps by setting up a Microsoft Exchange account.
    4. Apple makes it extremely difficult (virtually impossible) to revert to a version of OSX that is earlier than OS X Mavericks once Mavericks is installed.
In short, we are screwed and neither company seems to care.
In fact Microsoft does support Cal and CardDav in Outlook, just not in the Mac version of Outlook.
Reverting back from Mavericks requires nothing more than a backup of the system to restore from, if you do not elect to make backups that is a choice, but I would venture that it is a bad choice.

  • Has anyone experienced problems with outlook mail after ios6

Starting with the release of iOS6 I have had a problem with mail making it to my desktop. I never had this problem before.  The mail arrives fine on my iPad and iPhone, but it's not in my ourlook inbox.  Any ideas?  I have the iPhone 4 and the original iPad.  I have checked the settings and the "mail" option is set to "on" on both devices.

  • HT5815 has anyone experienced problems with this update.

After insaling it I cannot log on to my mac? had to restore to my latest timemachine backup

Quite a few people have problems with every update. Almost always it is tied to third-party software incompatibility.
If you run into a problem like that, boot into Safe Mode. If that succeeds, it is definitely a third-party software issue.

Some company's just can't be bothered making their software compatible with each release.

  • Is anyone having problems with i message after newest update?

since i updated my iphone to the newest 5.1 my imessage isnt working properly.. it will sometimes let me imessage certain people and other times not i was wondering if anyone is having the same problem or knows how to fix it. I have the iphone 4s but i am in europe and i am basically using it as an ipod because it doesnt currently have service. This problem is happening when i am connected to wifi so the imessaging should work...
    any thoughts?

Yes, the US-122 is a usb interface. I have been using it for several years now.
I have had no problems until this last OS update, which also included an iTunes update that I have heard folks are having burning problems with.
I can SEE the signal going in (in the sys prefs meters), as well as in LE's meters, but no sound comes out of my monitors. Yet I CAN play songs in iTunes and pre-recorded tracks in LE7 and GB, without problems at all, as well as any other audio from online sources and from the OS, like alerts, etc. It is only audio straight from the US-122 that does not make a sound.
I find it so odd that the OS Sys prefs show a signal, yet no sound is present, while all other apps produce sound as usual.
I have repaired permissions, and have reset SOUND and AUDIO/MIDI setting severals times.
I USED to be able to play guitar through my Vox ToneLab, connected directly to the US-122 into the Mac, whether I was using LE7 or GB or neither. Now I get NOTHING from it at all (aside from the OS meters), no matter what.
I'd suspect a cable if not for the signal in the meters, and the sound from every other audio app, including pre-recorded LE7 & GB stuff.
I have had minor problems in the past, but never anything like this.

  • Is anyone having problems with OS 10.5.7 update?

I have a Tascam US-122 (older unit), and all was fine until the OS 10.5.7 update. Now, I get a signal from my US-122 going in that I can see on the system prefs panel, but no sound coming out of my monitors. ALL other audio devices DO come out of the monitors just fine.
I have looked at every setting possible, and nothing.

  • Is anyone experiencing problems with the keyboard in CS5?

    Hello all,
I am having an issue with Photoshop CS5 (Windows). When using the keyboard, the current tool I am using will switch to a different one! In this video, you can see that after using the text tool (t), it changes to the marque tool (m), when I have actually just pressed the shortcut for the select tool (v). Towards the end of the video, I select the text, press the right on the keyboard a couple of times, suddenly the tool changes from text to the select tool again (v). If anyone is experiencing this problem on Photoshop CS5 (windows) and has a fix for it, I would like to hear it!
This is also happening on my windows machine at home, so it is not specific to this PC. The settings have been reset and I am using the latest version. It has been uninstalled and installed a number of times and I am still having the same issue.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give me

I'd specifically look for programs running for your keyboard and mouse.
If you have a multimedia keyboard (one with volume controls, brightness, sleep, launch mail, etc) the "launcher" program might be causing issues.
I have a wireless logitech keyboard with their SetPoint software running and noticed that I was having odd keyboard issues in Blender.
I updated to their most recent software and haven't had a problem since.
I'd suggest terminating any program related to the keyboard or mouse and seeing if that resolves the issue.
Maybe even running windows in safe mode to eliminate all unnecessary background programs.
If that still doesn't work and a different keyboard doesn't work then I'd move on to try updating the video card drivers (or uninstalling the current video card driver and reinstalling the driver).
Maybe also reset all mouse and keyboard options to their defaults in the windows control panel.
    Good luck!

  • Has anyone experienced problems with their airport express since yosemite?

Since updating to Yosemite, I am constantly having issues with my Airport Express.  It flashes yellow, indicating no connection.  I have attempted to:
Soft Reset:  Unplug it (Airport Express) and plug in again
Factory Reset:  Unplug it, push & hold the reset button with a paper clip while pulling it back in.
A Tip From Another Site:  Unplug our Time Capsule we use as a router & the Airport Express, wait 3 minutes - then plug in the Time Capsule, wait another minute - then plug in Airport Express.  This worked for a very short amount of time, then the light started flashing yellow again.
Again, I had no problems before updating to Yosemite.
I look forward to & appreciate any help resolving this issue.
