Anyone find the cure for the headphones probl

the problem has always stayed. first time creatvie charged $20 to fix it. And this time they are asking for $40.
Now they say $40 is for diagnosis and repair. duh!!! its a common problem and we both know that you have to open it and solder the new jack or fix the existing one.
This player has become a liability and talking to the customer service is like talking to a stone.
anyway, have any of you found a homemade fix for this headphone problem?

They are not admitting it as a common problem because they either don't want to or the problem isn't such a big thing to them. Anything that deals with wear and tear is pretty much our faults, which is why Creative isn't saying that it's their fault. They might say, well you jammed to hard. You use the wrong type of headphones. You didn't put it in a protecti've case. etc. But if you think about it, this is what we normally do. We sometimes drop something or bump it here and there. Pull that headphone in and out so that I can put my headphones in a case. Then I'll plug it back in and then realize something isn't right.
All I know is that ever since I read about these complaints, I became more aware and careful on treating my Zen Micro. I'm still a little paranoid.

Anyone have a suggestion for wireless headphones that would allow more than one pair? Using iphone as video server in car, need individual headsets for 3 kids.

Textmessages a mess, anyone having the same proble...

My Nokia X3 has a problem in sorting textmessages to conversation-folders. Sometimes messages from one person disappear and when I try to find them, they are in another conversation as if that person had sent them (for example I've been texting with Mary and suddenly Mary's messages are in Peter's conversation as if Peter had sent them). Anyone having the same problem? Is there anything to done about it? It's very annoying if I want to read messages afterwards.

CS 6 or Photoshop 6. CS6 is version 13, Photoshop 6 is super ancient history.
Either way CS6 should work in Yosemite but not officially supported by Adobe any longer.
Are you trying to navigate to a location that is not there like a disconnected drive?
Photoshop tries to remember the last location you opened from
close photoshop
open Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe
find the Photoshop folder or photoshop.app inside the folder, wherever you installed it
hold down ctrl+opt+shift+cmd and click on the photoshop icon as you are holding these down
when the prompt comes up to reset preferences click okay
you can't do this from the dock icon or an alias btw.
if that does not work
create a new admin account,
boot to that account
run photoshop,
if it works there is a problem with your old account and possibly corruption.

Does anyone find the password reset frustrating?

Does anyone find that the constant update to the security password is not only a hassle but also has a negative impact on its customers. Today I lost my phone, so I went to icloud on my computer, and it said I needed to reset my password. I couldn't cancel or do it later, I had to do it right then and there. So I reset my password, furious to get to the icloud page and then to the find my iphone, However after I reset my password, the phone itself did not have the correct password and thus it couldn't locate the phone. Furthermore, I know it was because of the updated apple id password that caused this because I have an ipad that also could not be found, that was still connected to the internet and on. This updating password is extremely unnecessary. When I was debating back when I was getting an iPhone 5s rather to get a 5s or try something new, I decided with apple because of its ecosystem. However, with this experience I realized that Apple is not into what it's customer wants but rather pushing its own ideology down its customers throats. Consider me no longer apart of the Apple family. Today you have lost a customer, a fan, and an enthusiast. I'm very disappointed in how you have handled your business.

But to find them the first time I just searched the entire forte
tree for *.IOR. I think they always end up in the same place.

Is there any hope to find a cure for Kernel attacks on 2010 MBP?

I sent this mail to apple today...My sad story with MBP
I'm writing to you with absolute disappointment and I don't even know if I will be getting a reply or not. Its been almost 6 months now & I still cant find a fix for those "Kernel attacks" destroying my stock 2010 2.66 Ghz i7 macbook pro. Adding to my disappointment, is that I visited both authorized distributors and/or dealers in my country (Egypt - Best buy & Tradeline) & they had absolutely no idea of whats going on. That said, when i researched the error on the community forums, I found out that many others are infected with this manufacturing defect in the logic or display boards, causing black screens & system halts, where the only solution is to shutdown. I bought my laptop from the states (LA), and I absolutely have no idea regarding apple's goodwill towards such a devastating customer experience. Please support!

Has anyone found a cure for the U052 print head error. it was factory installed.

It just quit doing anything. You would think i could still fax at least. Not a chance i will recommend Canon to anyone. this machine is less than two years old. The Re-Seat instructions are a joke.

Whether this is quick or simple could be subjective.
I have found consistent success with exporting a reference or self-contained QT and then re-importing and placing the HD file in a 16x9 SD sequence and then letting FC do the down-convert(actually a Kona LHe card is doing the work). Export your SD movie and then compress for DVD in Compressor.
Would if you have a 120 minute show? This approach is still way faster than running a 120 minute show through Compressor on a Mac Pro 2.4GHz Quad-core with 8GB of ram and Qmaster.
I find Compressor to be consistently inconsistent when it comes to any HD to SD conversion for DVD no matter what the source is. Sometimes it works wells sometimes it doesn't.
I would suggest a test with one minute of your most complex footage and even play with no interlacing on the SD sequence. It may seem counter-intuitive but in my experience it works.
I am using FCP7 and cannot say how different your X experience will be.

Go to devices and click on your iPod Touch. Go to tv shows and movies and see if it says sync movies or snyc tv shows (couple of options). For music videos go to the bottom of music and see if its checked include music videos. Remember its under devices

What is the headphone probl

I've read a number of messages talking about people having it, but what is it's Is there a way to tell if I'll have a problem with my Micro? Are there ways to either prevent it, or fix it once it happens (other than sending it back in for a new one?)

It is definatly NOT 50% of Micro owners. That is not even close to the failure rate of these devices. It's something less than % most likely. They most likely have sold at least million Micro's by now and there are perhaps 3-4 dozen people reporting headphone failures here. I know it doesn't pay to speculate but I'm not pulling these numbers outta my butt.
Also, Creative Support has never been anything to me but helpful. I got a full replacement player in a matter of 2 weeks from Creative as soon as I spoke to them about my failed headphone jack. Support forums are not the the place to take to heart what you read. A lot pf people here are disgruntled or frrustrated with a problem they've encountered so you have to take what you read here with a grain of salt.
