Easy way to update Caller ID

We are running CCM 4.1(3) in a large Enterprise and would like to find a way to update Caller ID information as people come and go. All I have been able to find is "this is a manual process" and that doesn't work for us, with the number of customers we have to support. Does anyone have a good tool to make this process less cumbersome?

The way to do this gracefully (this is documented in the ssl config guide) is to:
1. import new cert with a different name than the existing cert.
2. put the new cert name in the appropriate ssl proxy
This will cause the ace to load the new cert into memory and use it for new connections.
The key is to use a new name.

Any easier way to set due dates?

By and large, I'm pretty happy with the functionality of iCal, even if it's a bit basic. But setting due dates on to dos and events is very frustrating!
Let's say you add a new to do, then click the due date box. Today's date is filled in, say, 26/08/2007 in my part of the world. I want to schedule the to do for next month. To change it you click on the day part, enter a number (say, 08), then tab or click on the month part. At this time the iCal display jumps to 08/08/2007 (in the past!). Now I get to manually type in the new month, 9, and press Return or tab and things are good again. It's all kind of long-winded and messy. What's sorely needed is a drop-down calendar picker, or the ability to click on the existing calendar at the left to pick a date.
Does anyone know of any easier way to enter due dates? I've even looked for external programs that handle to do functionality, but can't find any that automatically sync changes to iCal for syncing to my Palm Treo. Anyone know if iCal in Leopard is any better in this regard?

I couldn't agree more. I can't believe that this has escaped Apple for so long, and didn't even make it into Leopard. Let's say its the middle of November and I want to schedule a to-do due date for the end of the week, say Friday, second week of December. I do this all the time. Sorry, but I can't do the math this quickly, so I need to open up a calendar, or scroll down the calendar, then enter the exact date manually.
Just give me a quick pop-up. Travel web sites do this. Now Up To Date in 1992 had drop down calendars. So does Entourage, which is what I use ONLY because of this one glaring pain. Entering due dates, reminders, etc, is just a pain in iCal, and even worse now in Mail.

Any way to update PO document through DTW without using "Doc Entry"

I need to use DTW to update existing PO document. I realized that I have to have Doc Entry to be entered in the DTW template.
Is there any way to update PO document through DTW without using that field, "Doc Entry"?

A similar situation related to Bank files was resolved with one of my clients on the following way...
The file from the Vendor can be an any order or format on the Excel. Till the time it is consistant it should work fine..
We created a Job in SQL Server to read this Excel file and to use the DocNum to get the DocEntry from SAP PO and output another excel file which is exactly the template format for PO Update.
This may even not be required in your case.....
You can get this done through an Excel Macro....which will connect to the database and using the DocNum get the DocEntry and update the Excel....
This is 100% achievable and a better solution for regular use

Has anyone found an easy solution to the U44M1P7 error when installing CC updates?

Like many, many people, shortly after Christmas, 8 updates appeared for various CC apps including Photoshop and Premier Pro, etc.
Every time I try to install these updates, it fails with the U44M1P7 message. I took a look at the knowledge base article about this message and they suggest that some language files got deleted or something and the apps need to be re-installed.
I know for a fact that I did not delete any Adobe files at all in any way from my installation. I do not use any type of cleaner software and have not even used most of these apps let alone deleted for messed with their files in any way.
For as many people that suddenly reported this problem with updates, just makes me suspicious that there is something wrong with the stinking update.
I just can't believe that I have to re-install all this junk just to get updates working again when it just stopped working for no reason at all.
Has anyone found the reason for this and have a quick fix?

I was wondering if anyone had an easy way to edit the photos on a .swf file?

I am trying to change out the photos on the flash photos on my homepage. I only have the .swf files. Is there an easy way to do this? My web developer wants to charge a ridiculous amount to do this and I would actually rather learn how to do this versus paying someone else. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought there was a way to do this in Flash, but you can use a SWF extractor like http://www.swftools.org/
You would have to follow the directions(documentation) as I have not used this program before. Or find another that seems easier to you, but thats what you need.

Anyone have an easy way to hide an image when clicked?

Hi,
I have an image where I need each text box/arrow to delete once clicked. Surely there is an easier way than creating millions of frames? Is it possible to do it with a button? The person using the animation needs to click the right ones that would lead to them dissappearing.
This was mocked up in photoshop. Only the photo would be brought into flashes library.

You could do a selective deletion, by specifying the filter values, so that you only delete a subset of the entire data. You could then do a re-load for the same selection so that there is no duplication of records.
This is on the assumption, that your incorrect data is due to some incorrect update or transfer rules, which you have now corrected (before the re-load).

What is a easy way to update colors in a FW design?

Hello is it possible to use Fireworks swatch to update colors at once?
In this example if I want to update the color #9A6600 I must update the menu buttons submenu and the text (the origal contains more items)
For recurring items I am using the style option but every style has one of the basic colors of the thema.

Styles are like symbols. If you change a style definition, you can update all instances of that style on the canvas. So one way to change color quickly across multiple objects would be to select an object with a style attached to it, change its fill color, and then click the Redefine Style button in the Properties panel. All the instances of that style will be changed to reflect the new fill color.
But there are other ways to change the fill or stroke colors of multiple objects. Simply selecting multiple objects on the canvas or in the Layers panel and then choosing the desired fill or stroke color will work. On the canvas, Shift-click or click-and-drag to select multiple objects using the Pointer tool (or the Subselection tool if an item belongs to a group). In the Layers panel, selecting a layer/folder will select all the objects in that layer; Shift-click or Command-click can also be used to select multiple objects or layers.
The one caveat to the above suggestions are Symbols. Symbol instances are easy to update in and of themselves by editing the Symbol, but they're somewhat separated from other items on the canvas. For example, you cannot directly change their fill or stroke color on the canvas, and styles contained within Symbols won't automatically update themselves the way they will for other objects.

An easy way to update a song to a newer version in multiple playlists?

i lost a bunch of my music due to a computer crash. bummer. i am slowly putting my library back together. is there a way to easily update have itunes recognize the song (same song...but this one does not have the exclamation point next to it) and replace it in the playlists that the original (exclamation point song) is in. i have over 300playlists....and would love to save time. thanks!
