I keep getting an error -1 when I try to load it in Logic pro. I tried emailing iZotope about this but never got any response. Any help would be appreciated.

Power PC Dual 1ghz
Logic Pro 7.4.7
Mac OS X 10.4.7

Vinyl 1.7.3 loaded and ran fine on my system. Try removing the AU and any supporting files and receipts and re-installing Vinyl again.
And, yes, Vinyl is UB (don't know what possessed a13 to ponder otherwise).

If you subscribed to iTunes match the songs are kept in icloud. If you didn't but you did save the actual iTunes library folder which should include the music, video, etc. you should be able to just drag this file back to your machine in the same place and when you open iTunes it will give you a chance to identify the iTunes library folder.
You can test this to find out if you saved the media files or not and don't need to attach your nano to do it.
You are correct that once you connect the nano it will clear the existing files from it and sync it with the new iTunes library.
If you don't have the media files i'm not sure if/how to get them back on a windows ipod. I have everything backed up regularly because of the horror stories I have seen & heard.

My iphone is getting stuck and showing lines running on the bott

I m using iphone 4s,ios 7.1.2. I m unable to diagnose a problem having on my iphone. Some times when i m using a browser(chrome,safari) it suddenly get stuck e.g while writing a website name,on any specific letter it get stucks. And phone doesnot accept any command..even when i press home key it doesnot show homescreen.After this i hard reset my iphone using home and lock key.Then when my iphone get started again,there i watch some flickering/lines running across the bottom side of my iphone screen and after 10-15 mins they disappear and phone works normally..By looking upon this situation i back up my iphone on itunes and then reset it and updated my ios to 7.1.2 from older 7.1.1 and then restored back up.But this problem still persist and there is no improvement after updating to the newer version of ios and resetting. Please some one kindly tell me that what problem is my iphone is running from? Is there any software issue or hardware? Or some application is disturbing?

I did that many times, I mean I do it everytime. But it doesnt seem to help. It is strange sometimes the phone is slow and stucks for a many seconds, sometimes it is just one or two seconds. Thank you for your help though, but is there something else that you could think of?

Can anyone get WlanUtility for CB11B to run?

I'm trying to install a CB11B on a Dell Latitude CPx running Win2K, but I can't get the utility to stay up long enough to configure it. It beeps and dies quickly with no indication of any errors.
Anyone else have this problem and found a fix? If so, any help would be appreciated.

I change the setting to 32bit and download the correct trial file and still the 32bit message pops up.

How much storage do you have left on that 64GB SSD? 4GB ram is fairly comfortable (if you're doing absolutely nothing else) while using Flash. The paired down tablet specs are most certainly crimping the performance.
You have to know apps like Photoshop may let you brush but the application is primarily a bitmap engine which operates at memory speed and certainly has no overhead from being a multimedia, scriptable IDE. As you pile up dozens of layers, especially with vectors and filters, Photoshop will also start to lag just the same.
You have to keep in mind, you really have a tablet. The i5 1.6GHz is not a normal i5, it's a mobile i5 product. I have an i5 quad also (2500k), but the desktop model (Sandy/Ivy) runs at 3.7GHz in turbo, and that's an old model (Sandy). Also the desktop i5 has Intel HD4000 graphics which is extremely slow (outside simple video playback) and your i5 is even slower, only Intel HD3000 graphics. Clearly there's a big difference and you should expect tablet performance.
Just about the only thing you can do to increase performance, especially in a vector heavy app, is reduce any other things going on. Slim out your OS as best you can, removing any unnecessary apps or services running. Update all your drivers and if you're not using WHQL drivers for the HD3000 on your display driver you should revert back to Win7 for fully supported drivers (which is the version of Windows I think the Slate originally came with). Unless something is corrupt or no WHQL driver support exists for HD3000, I don't see what else it can be besides perhaps no WHQL support for your input driver either.
I'm on a 5 year old Dell touchscreen laptop at a higher resolution (1600x900) running an old i7 @ 1.6GHz quad (similar to yours) with 4GB DDR2 (slower) and Flash runs perfectly fine. Although I'm not running Intel HD graphics. I'm running it on a discreet ATI Mobility Radeon HD.

The problem with older XMS3200C2 ram is that they used whatever IC was around that would run ddr400. So unless your sticks got BH-5 IC you most likely outta luck. If the do give them as much vcore as your mobo allows. If there are CH-6 IC you might as well forget it because they most likely won't do much over 10MGz over ddr400. But anyways you need some of the best ram out there to do 300fsb with the ram 1:1 1T.

Did anyone get notification of a $5 increase in the DSL service?

When my DSL bill went up (after the year long discounted period), the bill went up $15. I called and the agent I spoke with was extending my 'discount' period to my previous amount. I called back because I couldn't access my bill on line, and was told over the phone that the bill was $5 more than what I expected. I was told that the high speed went up $5 and I had been notified in a previous bill. I checked the last 4 bills and found nothing about a rate increase. Was anyone else notified about a $5 rate increase for the highest speed DSL plan? If so when and how were you notified.

This is the first I've heard of any DS: price increses.The again, markets vary.I am still getting the discounted price, but if they change the base price, I'd still be affected, I think.Looked over all my bills, and I saw no mention of an increase. Not a clue what to tell you.

Has anyone got the required drivers or workaround to get the Sharp Al-1655cs printer working with iMac or Macbook Pro. Ive been searching and have yet to find a MAC OS compatible driver but am wondering if someone has figured out a way to make it work?

click print & scan
there on the lidt of pritners he show my samsung all in one laser pritner thingy
then I click on the Scan in the right tabcontrol click open Scanner
that bring up what I assume to be a samsung gui dialog where I can preview and set dpi and the likes
then when I click scan it scan and send the image to Preview (the app called priview)
have you tried it that way rather then trying to access the scanner from other apps ?
back in the day scanners used a system called TWAIN which was not IP network related prob not even usb
some old apps or strange apps could still be looking for a wired system using that interface

I have Safari 6.0.5 on OS X 10.8.4 and java 7_25. Ever since my laptop installed updates at the weekend, I can't get HostChecker to run. This is a java app that runs and checks out the suitability of my host to connect to my companys network. It was working fine Friday. So frustrating as I can't log in and work. I tried the article about switching to use java 6 but no luck - safari freezes right after I select "Don't block" when it starts running HostChecker. Any ideas please to help me stop getting stressed? Thanks

How do I get my phone back up running when the restore from back-up cannot be performed due to an error?

I attempted to update my software on my iphone 4. The screen now says either set up as a new iphone or restore from back-up. Each time I choose run back-up and press continue it tells me "itunes could not restore the iphone "Sarah's iphone" because an error occured.

That's literally all it said "the back-up could not be restored because an error occured".
Anyway I did the old trick of shutting down the pc, rebooting & trying again.
Then once phone connected & iTunes up it stated my software was up-to-date but the phone was still fairly empty. Then my husband had a look & sorted it all out. Not sure exactly how.

Anyone get this message in Safari? Using the Merrill Lynch site

This is totally random. Using the Merrill Lynch financial site. Logged into my account.
In getting stock quotes throughout the day. Then some days I get this error in Safari-
Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
And I can't get any quotes any longer.
Merrill Lynch say they haven't any idea. But to me the words used in the message sound so PC geek speak.
I have tried emptying cache in Safari. I also set the default database to off. To 5MB. To 10MB. Nothing works from my end in Safari.
I really feel it is a bug in the Merrill Lynch site. But thought I would post here just in case someone else has experienced this?
And this only happens getting stock quotes on Merrill Lynch. And the rest of the Merrill Lynch site works fine throughout the day. Just stock quotes.

Is it possible to get intermediate info while running with the Ipod Nano 6th gen?

In the store I was told that the Ipod Nano 6th gen would keep me informed every 500m or every km about my distance, average speed etc.
The Ipod only tells me AFTER the run what my average speed etc was. Not during my run. Is there a possibility to get this info during my run? The store does not know the answer.

Do you have the Spoken Feedback setting set to On under Settings -> Fitness on the iPod?
