Anyone getting a 5002 Error when trying to Download a Tv show or Movie?

I am getting a 5002 error any time I attempt to download a movie or tv show right now, at 11:50pm Pacific Standard time on December 15th.....anyone else gettting this......I can download music but not tv/movie...????

Found this post (still seems weird we are all having this error at the same time):
“We could not complete your Music Store request. An unknown error ocurred (5002). There was an error in the Music Store. Please try again later.”
I emailed iTMS support about it and received the following reply:

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this Error 5002 issue may have caused. Please note that it was necessary to clear the contents of your shopping cart to resolve the issue you have been experiencing.
It seems like one of the songs you are trying to purchase is in the middle of being modified and is unable to be purchased at this time. So this is preventing you from checking out and giving you this error code. What we recommend you doing on this particular order would be to add one
or two items time, checking the cart after each item. When the cart shows that error “5002” we have found our song that is being modified. When you find this song we would appreciate it if you would report back to us which song is giving you this error. From there we can take appropriate actions to getting this fixed.
Thank you for being an iTunes Music Store customer. We appreciate your business.
I don’t recall what was in my shopping cart, so I won’t be much help to iTMS. But maybe it’ll be help to you.

Getting an Unknown Error when trying to download Ver 2.0

When I try to update the software from Itunes. It asks me about updating and when I select. I get " There is a problem downloading the iPod software for the IPod "Joe's Ipod". An unknown error occurred (-23). I tried to reset the IPOD and got the same error. The ITunes diagnostics said the IPOD is OK. My pod casts and such are sycning OK.

Please let me know if you have any ideas because "The [Download] operation is halting due to the following failure: null" means nothing to me.
Please note changing the maintenace mode makes no difference.

Please enable Verbose Logging on the propagation servlet

I am getting the following error when trying Structs action in my application.
javaw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows,

An error log is being created.
the application server was stopped after this error.
I reinstalled using j2sdk1.4.2_10, this error still remains.

It's not viruses I was talking about - it was session hijacking and electronic evesdropping. And as far as a browser taking up space....seriously? We're talking MBs here.....
I use Firefox exclusively, because frankly, I don't like Safari any more than I like IE.....(actually, I really hate IE - despite its being around for forever, it is still not a browser that does much for me).
But, to each his own. That's not really the point I was making. It's just that we have some very non tech-savvy folks asking questions here, and we need to make sure that the advice we are giving out is not going to increase their risks in any way. I was just trying to be mindful of making sure that we do inform to the best degree possible....

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
c. Perform the following actions
i. Right Click on Components Folder
ii. Select Permissions
iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
iv. Select Advanced Button
v. Select Owner Tab
vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
ix. Select Apply
x. Select Apply again
xi. Exit the Registry Editor
Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time?

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

I am encountering the same problem -- though with .qfx files from my bank. This worked fine in Firefox 31 ESR, but since upgrading to Firefox 33.0, I get the "<name>.qfx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" when I attempt to download. (I should add that downloading PDF statements from the same site works fine, and that the qfx downloads work fine in IE and Chrome.)
I tried safe mode, it is still broken. Tried v34 beta, no luck. I reverted to version 31, it works again.
I guess I will stick with the older version until a solution is found...or just use an alternate browser to download my financial data.
