I have a n97 on vodafone. since i've had it nearly 2 weeks now, clearly its a a non runner full of bugs. But, has anyone like me, on vodafone. I've noticed when no internet access through 'My web' facebook doesn't run. Apparently its a vodafone error 403/404 server fault. facebook runs ok when vodafone live works but this server keeps crashing. Anyone else have problem? or is it my phone?

Just to make sure, try a different set of cables. If the problem persists, have the unit replaced by Apple.

(i am starting to get irritated of the flicking screen)finally got my computer back with more problems than I sent it in with I think. They put in a new logic board, battery, and super drive. I no longer can see my serial number in the about this mac window. also, the battery is loose and sometimes the meter reads 0% and sometimes it will not turn on. I dont know what the deal is. The people that fixed it are in the middle of selling the store so I dont feel like deeling with them for a while until they get all moved. I might just call applecare in the morning or something. I hate this, I am having the worst luck with all my electronics lately.

My iPad has just stopped working with sound from the speakers, it works fine with the headphones in. The soft mute button is not made and the volume is at max.
Any ideas what problem is and how to sort. ThanksSystem sounds can be muted from the software switch in the task bar as well as from the side switch depending on how you have it set up. This my boilerplate resonse for sound issues.
1. If you have no sound at all, even in the Music App, try rebooting the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
2. If you lost sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

3. If you still have no sound at all - except when using headphones ....try cleaning the dock connector opening of the iPad with a soft brush and just a little bit of rubbing alcohol. -
Access problem caused me to get robbed or w/e
Well I tried downloading an album the other day and when i bought it I was using my gift card which had like $14 or $17 and it seemed for like 20 minutes it was still accessing... So I just clicked it off, not getting a refund for the album that wasn't downloading. I tried downloaded it again today and it worked, but it charged me again so I basicly lost $9 for nothing >_> I was wondering if there was any possibility that I could get that money back.

My MacAir is great except for a problem i have. Keys F1, F2,F5,F6,F7,F8,F9,F10,F11,F12 and the power button are unresponsive. These are keys i frequently use and i have searched the whole apple help centre. Anyone got answers for me? Please helP!!!
Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sure Mouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) If Mouse Keys is enabled and you are using a keyboard with no numeric keypad or Num Lock function, see Unable to type while Mouse Keys is enabled in Mac OS X.
If the function keys on the top row of the keyboard are not working as expected, see Mac OS X: How to change the behavior of function keys.
If the issue persists, use Keyboard Viewer to help isolate the issue:
Click the Language & Text pane (Mac OS X v10.6) or International pane (Mac OS X v10.5.8 or earlier) in System Preferences.
Click the Input Sources tab (or Input Menu tab in Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier).
Click the Keyboard & Character Viewer "On" checkbox to select it (click the Keyboard Viewer "On" checkbox in Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier).
From the Input (flag) menu, choose Show Keyboard Viewer.
If the keyboard is connected and detected by Mac OS X, the keys you type will highlight in the Keyboard Viewer window. Open TextEdit (or any text application), and try to type something using the keys that were previously not responding to see if they highlight in Keyboard Viewer.
Start from the Mac OS X Install Disc, choose Terminal from the Utilities menu and test the keys which were previously not working. If the keys work while started from the Install disc, then the keyboard itself is working correctly. Use Mac OS X: How to troubleshoot a software issue to isolate the software issue that may be causing the keys to not respond.

From your statements above, it sounds like you never tried to burn a CD for at least the first year that you owned the laptop, as it had a one year warranty on it. While you might have used it frequently to install software, play DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, etc, that's unclear from your statements. Nonetheless, it might just be dirty-dusty. So, before deleting-uninstalling any software, and given they're cheap, try a CD-DVD Cleaner Disk first and see if that resolves your problems.

I deleted the file but still i can't access the Vodafone Live portal..
Don't ask me wherefore i needed the certificate, coz i don't know anymore but i shall attach the file if that helps solving.. (BUT don't use it on your own phone!!)

The devices I would like to access AFL Live premium video on are my iPhone 6 and my iPad Air so we are only talking about iOS devices.
The iPad Air is brand new. I am not contemplating resetting it to factory default. Everything else is working as I would expect. If deleting and reinstalling the AFL Live app made no difference then I don't expect that resetting the device to factory default will make any difference.
I know that it should be ok by using the same Apple ID to get it working on the iPad but the fact that it is not is the reason why I have posted in this forum.
I am able to login to the AFL Live app on the iPad and it is identifying me correctly. Immediately beneath where is says "Welcome MATTHEW" in the top left hand corner, on the iPhone it says "My Account" and on the iPad it says "Subscribe". This is clearly a bug either with the AFL Live app or with the retrieval of user information from Telstra. I have been paying for a service that I have not been receiving. I appreciate your assistance in trying to resolve this issue but it may need to be escalated to a higher technical level. -

Wifi works fine just everytime i go on vodafone live it comes up unable to connect and then something about packet data , vodafone were no help at all in shop, carphone warehouse said update the phone no joy , CPW said everything was there ? in settings so HELP! also this affects my MMS
hi,try going into connectivity settings, open destinations, open internet and delete ALL access points. Turn off phone. Now restart, go back into connectivity settings and in internet- options-new access point, select automatically check for available access points, select packet data, name it whatever you like, and use that. Hopefully this should resolve your problem.

for a few weeks i have not been able to access the itunes store from the itunes on my laptop. every time i click on it it tells me it cannot access the store...not sure why. and says this: ITUNES HAS STOPPED WORKING a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available.
I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

Lightroom suddenly stopped while I was working in it. I got the Windows message "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64 bit has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working. I have tried re-booting as well as reinstalling Lightroom 5.7 but whenever I try to start the program I get the same message.

My apps will not download to iPad 2 This is something that has just recently happened. Have tried re-booting but that makes no difference .

Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes under devices and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up menu. Then sync with iTunes again. Don't eject the iPad yet. If you still don't see the apps on the iPad - click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right and see if they show up on any of the iPad screens. If they do - make sure that all of the apps are selected (checked) to sync - (checkmarks in the boxes next to the app names) - check to make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked and as well and then sync again. You may have to click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes if the apps were not selected to sync. -

Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous.
