Anyone have PDF Writer or print to PDF issues following iTunes installation?

Since initially loading iTunes on my laptop, I can no longer print to a PDF utilizing my PDF Writer software. I don't believe it is a coincidence, as nothing else changed around the same time frame. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the fix?

Thanks for your suggestion, I however tried that a couple weeks ago. But, the issue was indeed in the cryptographic dlls. I had overlooked one line in Filemon output that stated slbRcCsp.dll was missing. Looking the dll up in google resulted in a page in another forum which directed me to this: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305999
Replacing slbRcCsp.dll from dllcache and re-registering other dlls as instructed in the article solved my issue. Hooray!
And a big warm thanks to you polydorus for pointing me to the direction of Filemon. Without your help I'd still have a non-working itunes

You're probably right - however I only stumbled in here yesterday through Google, I'd not visited the site before and really only registered to say "me too" and look for an answer.
I've never been a huge Apple fan, but when I finally moved to an iPod from Creative and Sony players last year, I was quite impressed. So much so that I also upgraded to an iPhone this year. Never had previous experience of trouble with iTunes and believed Apple's hype about reliability - lesson learnt!
I've found no answers here or from Apple themselves so I probably won't be back - and the iPad and Macbook will come out of my wish list!

Lightroom images that have saved to disc printing at store issues

Without having a printer of my own, can anyone help when printing images from lightroom, that we have collated onto a disk and taken to a local camera store. The images are so much darker than what is shown on computer. I have seen many threads about changing your own specific printer settings, my issue is when printing from one of those "do-it-yourself" machines..
Any help would be appreciated...

In general you need to use sRGB jpegs for those, so make sure you export to that. Anything else will usually end you up with weird colors as these things in general do not color manage. Secondly, make sure you calibrate your display correctly. Generally you should use a hardware calibrator for that. The exact type is less important than that you use one. Lastly, your display needs to not be set too brightly. Some calibrators include a facility to calibrate your display to a correct brightness. Most displays need to be around 2/3 of the max brightness. Very last, make sure you turn off any autocorrect features on the kiosk thingie.

I am not sure I am following you. There is not real step-by-step guide as each and every person's problem is slightly different then the next and there is no magic elixer to fix everyone's problem. It's different algorithms for diffent situations.
Now, I am not sure what you mean about losing your music. Did you lose it or not? Tell me more about this authorizatin issue. If your security settings in your OS are corrupt you will have to just reinstall Windows. Give me more info and I can try to supply an ample answer.

During a error updating, I had to reinstall iTunes. When proceeding to install iTunes, the installer chooses M:// I dont have a M drive, I click change and the iTunes installer crashes. I've tried everything, help!

Heres the isse:
When updating iTunes, after the restart I booted up iTunes and it crashed. I was prompted with iTunes had been updated incorrectly and to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. After downloading the installer from itunes.ca. I opened up the application, and clicked Next. Under the directory it says M Drive, I dont have an M drive at all, I click change and a prompt pops that says, "The volume M:/ is currently unavailable. Please select another." with "ok" being the only selection.
After hitting ok, it says "itunes installer completed" "Errors occured during installation before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again. Click Finish to exit the installer." Finish is the only selectable, and upon restarting the installer the same thing happens. I hope theres someone who can help me out with this.

Even if it was compatible, AirPrint does not work through a USB link, only Ethernet or WiFi.
I do not see your HP 4500 listed on Apple's list of AirPrint compatible printers. <iOS: AirPrint 101> Therefore you need to take another approach. To start, I suggest you download the free HP App, ePrint Home & Biz. It has limitations, but should get you printing with your existing setup.
There are other printing Apps with more features such as Print n Share and PrintCentral, but they can only be accessed from within other Apps that have the "Open In" option.
Your best option may be to share your computer's printer as AirPrint over WiFi. Programs that are reported to do that well are Printopia and FingerPrint. Your computer must be on and awake any time you want to print. <Printopia for Macintosh> <FingerPrint for PC and Mac>

Can't present through a Projector with lion - anyone have any suggestions or experienced the same issue?

Ever since i hae installed lion, we cannot project through a pretty new Epson projector. I have downloaded all the latest drivers from Epson and that does not work but it seems it would just recognize the projector as another screen as it normally does and that Lion would not have an affect on that.

Yes, I had this same problem.
I downloaded version 2.77 of easymp display and 1.50 of usb display from the epson website.
It did not work at first but then I plugged and unplugged the usb cable and all of a sudden it worked fine. I have a 2009 13 inch macbook with an epson 825+ projector.

IMovie on iPad... Anyone have any ideas or work arounds for the following issue?

I use iMovie on my iPad to edit my go pro footage because it quick and easy and up until now have been more than happy with it.however I've come across a problem and need some help.
Up until now any videos I've made have been relatively short and usually fit onto one SD card (I used the camera kit to transfer from SD to iPad) but I've just come back from a snowboard holiday and have 60gb of footage to edit down. So I have the following questions.
1) if I put the files I copied off the SD back onto the sd card from my computer why won't the iPad let me import them? How can I resolve this issue.
2) when I have a series of shortened video files how can I transfer them off the iPad to free up space to edit larger 1s? Also how can I get all the short clips back at the end?

I have been trying to rectify a problem I've been getting with iTunes and homesharing. I have a problem adding my library to a new iTunes installation.

Some background:
Originality the library was on a desktop PC I used iTunes to move the library to an external hard drive as I had a laptop. That worked fine and I was able to uses the ext HD as a network drive an point to it from iTunes.
I had a problem with the laptop and had to reinstall windows and was unable to backup the library (which was fine as all the music was installed on the Ext HD) however after installing iTunes I cannot import the library, I was able to add all of the music, however when I connected my iPod it said that it was not a registered computer and would have to re-sync, this would be fine except I have quite a few Apps that I pad for and downloaded on the iPod and by re-syncing I will lose these, is there any way to get iTunes to import this library of get my Apps in to this library?

I have tried to update the itunes to the new version, and it keeps trying to download to drive E! It doesn't give me any options to change it either, does anyone have any suggestions?!

Try completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components; you may need to do this multiple times. It won't normally affect the iTunes library, but that should be backed up anyway.
