Anyone have rough metrics re. Extended WH Tax conversion run-time?

Does anyone have any rough statistics regarding re. performance/run-time of the data conversion program that is run when activating extended WH tax in a live company code? Of greatest interest would be some rough numbers for a system with as high a record count as is available.

LoadClass (error loading a class which extends other class at run-time)

I'm using the Reflection API
I load a class called 'SubClass' which exists in a directory called 'subdir' at run-time from my program
CustomClassLoader loader = new CustomClassLoader();
Class classRef = loader.loadClass("SubClass");
class CustomClassLoader extends ClassLoader. I have defined 'findClass(String className)' method in CustomClassLoader.
This is what 'findClass(String className)' returns:
defineClass (className,byteArray,0,byteArray.length);
'byteArray' is of type byte[] and has the contents of subdir/SubClass.
the problem:
The program runs fine if SubClass does not extend any class.
If however, SubClass extends another class, the program throws a NoClassDefFoundError. How is it conceptually different?

Extended Withholding Tax & MIRO - total balance

I have the following situation:
Extended withholding tax is active in company code and the withholding tax type is defined for invoice posting. Everything seems to work correctly except for the following detail: if the invoice has additional charges which are only subject to normal tax rate (VAT) or no tax; then during incoming invoice with MIRO the system cannot balance the accounts; always the difference is the w/t amount even though I have typed the base amount in the corresponding tab. For example, if I receive an invoice for services (no GR) with the following items (the W/T rate is 4% and VAT 16%):
Amount subject to W/T and VAT: 4,600
Other charges (no tax): 194
VAT amount: 736
W/T amount (calculated): 184
Net invoice amount: 5,346
If I type 5346 in the amount field and 4600 in the base amount for w/t then the balance is not correct (difference of 184), unless I type 5530 in the amount field (the others values are calculated correctly).
Am I doing something wrong or missing configuration?

Hi,
The amount payable to vendor is 5346 (ie Gross bill of 5530 (less) withholding tax 184). In the header data, let the amount be maintained as 5530. In the withholding tax tab, change the withholding tax base amount to 4600 and the withholding tax amount as 184. This withholding tax amount gets reduced from the vendor bill of 5530.
On simulation, you can see the screen as per your requirement.

Hi,
I think in your Vendor Master you have maintained the Withholding Tax codes against both Invoice Withholding Tax Type and Payment Withholding Tax Type. What you should do is that do not maintain the Withholding Tax Code for Payment in the Vendor Master.
If you make an advance payment, then enter the withholding tax code at the time of transaction. After you have entered the invoice, clear the advance against the down payment using transaction code F-54. Then the system will adjust the difference TDS

Activating Extended Withholding Tax - New Company Code

Hello Gurus, I have a question regarding Extended Withholding Tax that I have not previously seen addressed.
My client is live on ECC 6.0 EHP 5 and would like to activate Extended Wittholding Tax for its Colombian company code which is not yet live.
All existing company codes on the same client are using Classic Withholding Tax, where withholding is needed. This is working well in many countries around the world, but will not satisfy the Colombia legal requirements.
Since Extended Withholding Tax is activated by company code, do we need to perform the Withholding Tax Changeover / Data Conversion steps for all existing entities live on SAP with Classic Wittholding?
Keep in mind that we do not plan to activate Extended Withholding Taxes in any other company code that already has productive data unless we absolutely must.
However, previous questions asked of this nature (and the SAP documentation) had ambiguous replies about whether other Existing company codes are impacted (and must be converted) as a result of activating EWT for a brand new company code with no existing master data or transactional data to be converted.

Hi Guy,
I believe that you can use extended Withholding tax for new company code without impacting the existing company code with classic WHT configured as my belief is extended WHT is activated at company code level.
Probably you can try to configure colombia in your development system and do some testing for Colombia and negative testing for few company codes with classic WHT.

I just had a new Iphone 4 delivered this morning, and I am currently attempting to configure it as I have no WIFI network it tells me to connect to Itunes which I also don't have, so therefore I resulted in trying to download Itunes to my Windows XP and after waiting for 20 minutes it's come back with the message Insufficient Permissions and won't let me install Itunes at all.

This has been reported numerous times in the past. It seesms that from time-to-time the response system responsible for sending the key goes away.
Take a look at the More Like This box on the right hand side of this page. Some users have had success getting the key sent in various ways.

Is anyone else having serious issues with Dynamically linked clip render times in CC 2014.2

Short clips stalling and taking forever to render. Longer ones taking several hours???
I've noticed arbitrary little fixes, such as re-opening the after effects window, then going back into the premiere window causes the render to instantly speed back up in some cases.
A restart of the program I believe solves the issue too. As does simply rendering the clip out in after effects.
The problem is that I have long, overnight renders set up that need to run automatically. In this case, 9 clips, all about 30 minutes long. And pretty much all one long dynamically linked comp (I created a picture in picture effect in after effects compiling 2 30-minute video feeds, and then added some color correction). When I left at night, the total time kept creeping up and up to about 2.5 hours for one video. Even THAT sounds like a lot to me, but I let it go. I return to the computer 13 hours later, to see only 3 videos completed, and the one CURRENTLY in the queue saying over 6 hours remaining. I cancel the render.
I feel like there is some breakdown of communication between afx and premeiere happening here.
Anyone have any experience with issues like this?
Running PP CC2014.2 on a tricked out 2011 Macbook pro 17" OSX Yosemite

I'm on windows 7, and similar dynamic issues were a result of having two versions of the same app on the machine, and not associating the files to use the latest version, etc, or a version mismatch.
Another workaround is to close PPro and import the project into AME, rendering it from there.
