Anyone having Itunes Store Laging problems tonight?

Anyone having Itunes Store Laging problems tonight,I seem to have Major Laging problems tonight,even where I try to sample songs allmost all the time it needs to search the URL and most times it cant find it,,this is a first for me on this problem...anyone else or any help,awnsers thanks..

Is the iTunes store experiencing problems tonight?

First my payment info quit working then the site itself started blocking my account.

After closing out iTunes and restarting, it has once again asked me to verify my account, telling me my Paypal account isn't set up right.
I've also noticed that some are complaining in the discussion boards of fraudulent charges appearing. I have, thus, changed my Apple ID passwords as a precaution. I am beginning to wonder if iTunes has been breached. I know my Mac is secure (2 password protected firewalls, login password, no suspicious apps/folders on my Mac, etc.) I am a developer, I repair Macs, and I am security paranoid, so it is highly unlikely that any potential security breach is on my end. My passwords are different for everything and nearly impossible to decrypt. Not saying that a breach is the case, but there is certainly some odd/suspicious behavior going on with iTunes - worthy of taking precautions.
I'll update from my end as I learn anything. At the very least, after I contact Apple in the a.m.

For your first issue, of not letting you download the explicit version, report the issue to iTunes. And for the second and third, you can change the information stored within it to get them grouped together the way you want them to be.

Itune Store Connection Problems

I downloaded the latest itune update yesterday morning (7/31) and now I am unable to connect to the Itune store.
I have done all the diagnostic checks suggested but still having problems connecting can anyone help?

you have probably tried this already, but restarting seems to solve many of the 7.7.1 issues.

ITunes Store Connection Problem and R6025 Error

I have a problem with iTunes (v 7.6.2.9) on my desktop machine that I haven't been able to resolve. The same version works without problem on my laptop, both are fully up-to-date XP SP3 installs with no iTunes add-ons.
iTunes starts correctly, but then does one of three things:
1) It hangs during connection to the Store, with the bargraph almost at the end of the travel.
2) It brings up the Store page, but although I can move the cursor around to click the Store links, nothing happens. Eventually the 'Accessing iTunes Store' bargraph may appear but it never connects.
In both of these two instance, no error messages appear, the Store simply locks up. I can still use iTunes perfectly as a player, access my library etc. However, I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the iTunes process from the Task Manager.
3) As per (2), but about five seconds after the Store appears, an error box pops up:

R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call
Pressing OK closes iTunes.
I've done all the obvious things - removed and reinstalled, cleaned out registry errors using jv16 Powertools 2008, I've even used Process Explorer to examine all the dlls in use with iTunes and compared the version numbers to the correctly working version on the laptop - they're all the same. I've also run a low-level memory error checker, but it passed with flying colours.
So I'm a bit stumped to know how to take this any further. I know other people have had R6025 problems in the past, but they seem to have generally been resolved by installing a later version of the application... which isn't much use to me, as I'm on the latest already. Incidentally, I did try going back one version to 7.6.1, but that behaved in exactly the same way.
If anyone has any ideas about how to troubleshoot this sort of problem, I'd be very interested. I'm assuming that I have another application conflicting with iTunes, but I've no idea how to find it.

Yay! I've found the culprit...
For historical reasons, I still maintain my old Compuserve 3 account as my public e-mail address. Part of the CS3 installation is a Remote Password Authentication system called Virtual Key. I noticed that these dlls were being invoked during Store connection attempts, which I thought was a little odd.
I deleted the following files from Windows/System32: (annotations courtesy of the Compuserve info text file for Virtual Key)
RPA.DLL - The dynamic link library that implements the RPA protocol for Virtual Key.
RPACFG.DLL - The dynamic link library that implements the Virtual Key accounts wizard API and other configuration APIs.
RPAWINET.DLL - The dynamic link library that is required to enable Virtual Key for Internet Explorer, version 3.0.
RPASSPC.DLL - The dynamic link library that is required to enable Virtual Key for the Internet Mail client and other non-web clients.
RPAEDIT.EXE - An editor application for editing Virtual key Accounts as well as viewing and deleting sites from the Virtual Key Site List that is created by Virtual Key when accessing secure sites.
RPAUI.HLP - Help for Virtual Key features.
VKUNINST.DLL - An uninstaller program for Virtual Key.
RPAINFO.TXT - This file.
As I only access Compuserve through the proprietary CS3 front end, removing Virtual Key has had no impact on my Compuserve mail system and iTunes is now working perfectly.
I hope this information might be of some use to others in the future!

ITunes Store download problems

Hi, for the last few months if I purchase something on the iTunes store (Apps, Music, TV Shows, Movies) regardless of what it is the purchase is made and it downloads fine. However, if I close iTunes before the download is completed, whatever was in the download queue disappears. If I click on "Store" in the menu bar and select "Check for Available Downloads" I see the "Checking For Downloads message, followed by a pop-up the reads "Unable to check for available downloads, The iTunes Store in temporarily unavailable, Please try again later". When I select the "Downloads" section in the Sidebar, it tells me (at the bottom middle of the screen) that i have "388 iTunes Downloads Available", but when I click on the download button I get the same message about the iTunes Store being unavailable. When I go to the actual Store and select "Account" from the Quicklinks menu on the right it shows that I have 400 Downloads Available, however when I click on the "Download Now" button I see the Checking for Downloads message at the top of the screen and then nothing happens, I don't even get a pop-up saying that iTunes is unavailable.
Is there a way i can fix this? or should I contact Apple...
I've read a few similar posts about this and tried a few suggestions but nothing seems to help.
This is getting incredibly annoying now as I've spent well over $200 over the last 6 months, I even receive E-mails for my Season Passes letting me know a new episode is available for download, but guess what....I can't download them! (sorta rubbing salt in the wound hey?)
I have a HP Laptop running Win7 64-bit, on this I've updated iTunes and am running 10.5.0.90
I've run the Diagnostics test and passed with no errors. I have my firewall turned off, I am using SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0, and have also disabled "Check for server Certificate revocation"
I also own a 20-inch iMac Alum (Mid-2007) running OS X Lion 10.7.1 and iTunes 10.5b112 (112) 64-bit and am having the exact problems on my mac as well. Although iTunes on my mac will download Apps I've purchased on my iPhone 4 Automatically, where-as this doesn't happen on my PC.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Are you having iTunes video playback problems?

Do you have iTunes Store-bought videos whose playback is terrible, all choppy and full of freezes while playing back in iTunes?
Have you copied one of those iTunes videos to a thumb drive and had it play back perfectly?
This problem is not fixed by any of the Quicktime adjustments that Apple suggests on their "how to fix video playback issues" page, and, aside from this video playback issue, iTunes is working fine on my machine. As I said, the videos work fine, too, if played from a thumb drive instead of the hard drive.
This has been going on for weeks, and people have been posting about it here on the forum, but, to my knowledge, there's no fix. Just silence.
It might be useful if people who are seeing this problem post some information about their systems. For all I know, all of us who are seeing this problem have one particular vendor's computer.
The computer I am having this problem with is a new HP laptop that came with Vista. This one:

I think the problem has to do with SATA, but I don't really know, except that my computer has it and I am able to play these videos perfectly from a thumb drive but not the SATA hard drive.

OK, I figured it out... I too have a dv6000 with Vista and I have been trying to fix this terrible itunes video playback thing and this is what I found. For whatever reason the NVidia driver in the dv series doesn't play nice with Vista. They say that they are looking into it but have no response other than that. Somehow the data from the hard drive isn't fast enough. So, reading this I figured that if that REALLY is the problem that I could use a external drive and have the videos come from there, and Voila!! It works like a charm, no skipping, no stalling, no more blue screens. I hope this is helpful, I know what a pain this can be.
ALSO, apparently some think that you can't watch itunes video while using Vista's "ReadyBoost". I haven't had that issue personally, but I have seen a lot that have who disabled it and had it work fine.
Let me know if this works for everyone else.

Itunes Store View Problem

I am using itunes on a PC and recently upgraded to the newest version of itunes.
Well, now when I visit the store, I cannot see the entire tracks names. For example if a track has remixes all I can see is "1. Vertigo (Jacknife le......)." 2. Vertigo (Jacknife Le......) and so on. I contacted itunes, and they told me they could not fix is. Does anyone else have this problem?
And ideas to help?

I have just visited the iTunes store and viewed a few albums to see if I have the same problem and I do not have it.
This is what I see when I am looking at a album on iTunes.

Why do I keep getting an error message saying that I need to check my internet connection when I try to listen to Radio? I ran diagnostics and my internet connection is fine. I can also access iTunes Store no problem??

This happens when I am trying to listen to Radio (obviously). I ran diagnostics and it said my internet connection was good. I can also connect to the iTunes Store with no problem. Any ideas?

Can you help with a iTunes Store Connection Problem?

Hi I've tried to fix a problem by following steps as outlined by Apple support but to no avail. I can't access the iTunes Store or App Store from my Mac but can do from our iPhones and iPods using the same log-in.
The message received is: iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occurred (-54).
Any help in simple steps would be appreciated.

Try resetting the iPad ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Itunes Store Gift problem

I sent an Itunes Store Gift to my daughter but, not thinking, (stupidly?) we redeemed with my account open instead of hers. She has fiddled around with work-arounds (dragging the songs to thumb-drive then uploading on to her Itunes account) but can't get the songs to sync on to her Ipod. I suspect this is a simple security issue as Itunes/Ipod thinks she is basically trying to get the songs without paying. Is there any other option to fixing this problem? She is 13 years old and quite "emotional" about not being able to get her gift. The issue may be complicated by trying to fix while running between Itunes 8 on the iMac DV and Itunes 9.2 on the MacBook Pro.

Try playing those songs through iTunes - perhaps they just need to be authorized. In case you'll be asked to authorize those tracks enter your ID/PW.

ITunes Store page problem

When I click on the iTunes Store link the page does not open with pictures, links, etc. What I get in Headings, text, link, no pictures. Any suggestions?

The new iTunes 10.4.1 seems to fix the problem without going through any more steps. I'll wait a little longer to see if any glitches/bugs crop up before updating it, though, but that's just me.

Itunes store menu problem

i have recently downloaded itunes 9.1.1 and whenever i access itunes store it only shows app store & itunes u on the menu bar .the music ,movies ,podcast... are absent .please help

I have the same problem...I'm new to Apple and expected everything to work and be intuitive...I can't see what music is avaialble enevermind buy...I have money to spend but can't spend it because I don't have the music or TV tabs...very frustrating and disappointing...it's taken me ages to get to this point...are you getting answers to your questions?
