Anyone having troubles with Microsoft Office since 10.9.3 ?
Whenever i launch a Microsoft Office app since 10.9.3 it quits within the 10 seconds saying "Microsoft Office has encountered a problem and needs to close". Anyone having the same issue ? Found how to fix it ?
Removing and Replacing Office, also on the microsoft for mac website. Other instructions included removing the template normal.dotm or renaming it etc etc.
I'm reluctant to remove office again as I have done this a number of times to the point of the product key becoming in active and I then had to have a microsoft person take over the laptop and replace Office and revalidate the product key. She thought then the problem would be fixed but it didn't work - have now resorted to using pages on my MacAir and only use office on my older (and much slower!) iBook!

HT3529 Is anyone having trouble with their iMessage since updating to iOS 6?
Ever since I updated my phone to iOS 6 I have had trouble getting my iMessages to work. I have wifi signal but when I try to send an iMessage it will not send and I cannot recieve any either. I didn't have any trouble before I updated my OS. Does anyone have any idea's on how I can fix this? I've tried resetting my phone and removing and readding my email address in the Settings; General; Messages; Send & Recieve. That worked for a few hours then it stoped working again.
I am stationed in Africa right now and I would use it all the time to stay in contact with my family back home.I have this same problem....was hoping maybe it was just my music library today so I could listen to some music but it happens with pandora too ..... Sure hope they send a fix quickly!

Anyone having trouble installing microsoft office mac home student ?
keeps saying i have to shut down safari, but even once i've shut safari down it still doesnt go to completion.... :S
Another point of interest at the end: If you see a blue, horizontal, oval light on the Dock under the Safari icon then Safari is open. The same applies to any application for that matter.
Clicking the red button at the top left corner of the window does not Quit Safari. Instead it closes the window. To properly Quit Safari, click the Safari menu, then click Quit Safari. Alternatively, Command-Q is the keyboard short cut. -
Has anyone else been having trouble with safari ever since the update? I have restarted several times, it still doesn't work.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Is anyone having trouble with the cursor jumping around while typing since you installed Lion? Never had any problems of that sort prior to Lion. I have an older machine. I believe it is a 2008 MacBook Pro. Especially happens with Yahoo. I am baffled.
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

Anyone having trouble with the new update for 2010 mac book air 10.8.2 ? My 2010 Macbook Air has crashed 15times since the 10.8.2 update. Have only once since owning it.
Turned out the hardware was bad. Apple exchanged it for a new Mac Air and the new trackpad works great. Thank goodness it was a defect. If the trackpads all worked like that I would have been bummed.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore. -

Yesterday all 3 of my apple devices stopped communicating via FaceTime. Some family members were still able to use theirs, but my iPhone 4, iPad2, and wife's iPhone 4 (different user ID/Account) gets a "connection failed" message everytime we try. Definitely noticing a trend over the past two days on Apple forums. I'm using iOS 6.++ version, but I think Apple has definitely done something and it is not user driven. For Jetfighter17, how are we sure the servers are fine? Is there a way to ping their servers? I received a message on my phone yesterday that stated "FaceTime Activation - Unable to contact the FaceTime server. Try again. [OK command button displayed]." My home network was fine and WiFi working correctly.

Did you really mean "os 11"? There is no such OS.
There is iTunes 11, is that possibly what you are referring to?
It's best to be specific about the issues that are occurring and in what version, as some versions fix issues that exist in other version. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents—again, the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -
Anyone having trouble with App Store install and cloud store buttons not working after 6.1 update? I go to install an app. I hit install and nothing happens. About a minute later it asks me for my password and then it does nothing. The install button goes back to saying install. However the app shows up in my installed list and in cloud but no app installed.
OK - I found a helpful post - closed app store app and under Settings/General/Date and Time I reset the date and time by switching off "Set Automatically" and then switching it on again. Went back to App Store, launched it and Updatesseems to be working again.
Go figure? Logical, No! -

yes! just loaded mountain lion yesterday beacuse my mail server was acting up and i thought it would help. now its worse, apple mail is giving me error messages, cant connect to server. i can get emails but can not send out. everytime i open the program it takes a VERY long time to load. thanks apple, great job!

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.
