I am a residential appraiser and recently purchased an ipad 4 to use for my home inspections. Some homes are foreclosed poperties without power and I am unable to get a good interior picture without a flash. Does anyone know of a flash attachment for the ipad 4? I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do. -

I am moving from Southern California to Maui, Hawaii and I need to figure out the best way to get my 24 inch iMac across the ocean. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I have found GearGrip's LCD harness so that I can do carry-on onto the plane... Or maybe use a Pelican Case to do it as a "checked bag"? Or any other suggestions??! Please help!

Check the airlines website for carry on guidelines.
Or, if you have the original box that the iMac came in, if you have someone who can pick up the iMac for you, send it ahead Fed Ex and insure the package.
Just make sure the display is covered to protect it. A blanket perhaps.

When using quick edit for compressed CSS, edge code does not jump to the particular class but displays the whole thing. This destroys the whole purpose. Does anyone know a fix or extension for that.
I suspect that beautify doesn't touch CSS that it is not aware of (e.g. new properties/syntaxes, vendor-prefixes). See if there's a newer version available.
Which compressed CSS are you using? Most CSS libraries come with both compressed and original stylesheets, so use the original one during development/debugging, and switch to the compressed one for deployment.

Encore CS4 (version 4.0.0.258) will not finish burning to blu-ray disc when using a menu template. DVD burning works fine with menu template. Anyone know the problem with blu-ray? HELP!

My iMac (running Lion 10.7.3) is connected wirelessly to a Laserjet 2550. This has operated fine for a long time, but now the printer cannot be found when Time Machine back ups are taking place - Bonjour does not show any devices being available when Time Machine is running. Does anyone know the cause & remedy please?
Your points match mine pretty well,though here are some thoughts:
1. I thought about this theory myself this morning (iTunes possibly causing more issues), but I haven't been able to verify it.
2. When I set up a new user it seemed better for a while, but the issue croppped back up. Yesterday I fully wiped the machine and reinstalled from scratch. I did not reimport my user from TimeMachine, but the problem has come back. My thinking was that I might have some really old software or prefs hanging around causing the issue. No dice.
3. This is my current theory of the issue, so my next step will be to pull the RAM from Crucial and see how the system behves. IF that doesn't eliminate the problem, I'll pull the factory installed RAM and replace it with the 3rd party RAM. The odd thing is how many people seem to have similar issues - I know two personally, and have seen several posts on forums. I think the most common point for this happening was the 10.7.2 update, which would point to software as the culprit.
4. That matches my experience.
My hope is that this will be repaired in the forthcoming 10.7.3 release (current production version is 10.7.2), but otuside of what I noted above, I'm at a loss. -

It is not too difficult in Illustrator.
Presuming the values are the side lengths, you may turn on the Smart Guides and:
1) Create a circle with its centre at X=Y=0 and with its radius equalling the first side length;
2) Create another circle with its centre at X equalling the second side length and Y = 0, and with its radius equalling the third side length;
3) With the Pen Tool click at the centres of the circles (Smart Guides say centre), then at one of the intersections of the circles (Smart Guides say intersect), then back at the first centre;
4) Delete the circles, and if needed Object>Transform>Rotate/Reflect/Move/whatever for the right orientation/position.
Obviously, you may use any order of the predefined sidelengths from the beginning. -

What calendar were you syning to? Outlook? Google? Something else? The directions on how to resync vary a bit.

The Apple techs are looking. But they can't find it. Nor can they find a back up on my laptop, Evidently when I backed up my Iphone to computer the calendar wasn't syncing. Since I only use the calander on my phone - I never noticed.
The Apple store rep that sold me the I-Phone 5 on Monday, was transferring my contacts and calendar thru I-Cloud (I never used I-Cloud before that moment - and always had it turned off). He successfully transferred the contacts - which are still on my phone), but the Calendar weirdly split into 6 calendars (2 of which were linked to my G-Mail which only had a few entries) (4 were linked to my MSN / Hotmail email and contained all the major events/data). I never created calendars that were separate or liked them to 2 different emails. I just typed entries into the I-Phone calendar. However, the calendar did exist on the new I-Phone for 24 hours. Something happened during transfer. When the Apple Genius Bar tech was attempting to back up my Calendar & merge the 6 calendars, everything disappeared in his hand while he was looking at it.
I am hoping that some really good data recovery expert exists that can restore the calendar that was in both I-Phones yesterday. It is completely devastating if I can't recover it.
Any help, or referrals, is great appreciated!!!!

Does anyone know the default size for 24 in. imac display?
I inadverently changed the display size on my 24 inch imac. The font in the toolbar at the top of the desktop is larger than I want. Also, when I open windows in different applications, they open larger than the display and have to be downsized in order to see the entire window.
Does anyone know the default size for this display? Or is there a different way to fix my issues?
thanks in advance.Hi Napamike2: The default setting for the 24" is 1920X1200. If that doesn't get you back to the proper display, maybe you have accidentally activated "Zoom". To check go to System Preferences, Universal Access. Check that Zoom is turned off.
