Anyone know the required power supply for ipod shuffle???

Everyone,
I just bought a new USB power adapter. I intend to use it to charge my iPod Shuffle, butt am a little suspicious about its output voltage. I tried to look everwhere on the website and even chat with the help desk, but nothing comes up !!! Unbelievable!
Please, if you know the power voltage for the iPod shuffle, please let me know...
Thanks

The output of the IPod USB charger is 50-60HZ 5V 1.0 A
Couldn't find it any where online had to go find mine.

There's no general answer, it depends on the platform. On Metalink this information can be found under Certification & Availability.

  • Anyone know the ActiveSync size limit for Sending?

I noticed that I have quite a few Event ID 1008 Warnings on my Exchange server today.  All of them are exactly the same and are all for the same user.  They occur every 5-10 min.  So I have discovered through research that this is caused (at
least in this case) by a message being sent from the mobile device (iPhone in this case) that is to big.
I have run a test on my own device (Droid X) where I attempted to send a message with a 14MB attachment.  The exact error is logged at the same time as the other intial error.  This is easy enough to fix: you simply need to go to the
Outbox on the phone or device and delete the stuck message.
However, I am now currious where this limit is set and how to find the exact size limit.  Through searching no one seems to know, but the limit is deteremined somewhere between 5-10MB.  Also, it is not set in Exchange as others like to recommend.
My send connector message size is 50MB and there is no limit set on the ActiveSync policy.
Anyone know the answer to this?  Is it an Exchange setting or is it determined by the particular phone/tablet?\
    Thanks.
    Event 1008 for others reference:
An exception occurred and was handled by Exchange ActiveSync. This may have been caused by an outdated or corrupted Exchange ActiveSync device partnership. This can occur if a user tries to modify the same item from multiple computers. If this is the case,
Exchange ActiveSync will re-create the partnership with the device. Items will be updated at the next synchronization.

Looks like I found the probable location of this size limit.  Looking at the web.config file in the
ExchServer\ClientAccess\Sync folder there is an entry for "MaxDocumentDataSize".  THe value is currently set at 10240000:
    <add key="MaxDocumentDataSize" vaulue ="10240000">
So this is 9.75 MB or there about, which sounds about right.  I will try increasing this limit at some point to verify.
    Can anyone confirm this?

    Hello,
I need to replace my power supply on my HP Pavilion a1000.  It currently has the original (A Bestec Model: ATX-300-12Z CDR.  The HP P/N is 5188-2625.

    Hi,
Yes the PSU will be ok. It's a desktop so you don't have to use exactly the same PSU. It can be even more powerful but make sure there are all compatible connectors. It looks like the CDR version is only 300W and the DDR 400W. The connectors are the same..

  • Is it possible to use the firewire power adapter for ipod to charge an Ipad

There is information everywhere that the Ipad doesn't charge with low power adapters.
The first power adapter I received with my first Ipod was the firewire power adapter and it allows intensities even higher than the 10 W Ipad adapter.
Could this old adapter be used with Ipad
Model n. A1070 output 12V 6.7 A if I believe what is written on it.

You should only use a USB-type charger for the ipad. Any other charger is risking damage to the ipad.
The ipad uses 5Volts at 2 amps for best charging. This is why it came with the wall charger.
You can charge it with any 5 Volt USB charger as long as the output amps is approximately 1 amp or more. If the amps rating on the charger is less than 2 amps, it will charge slower, but it is safe. The ipad will only draw the current it requires, but any voltage higher than 5 volts is risking damage to the ipad.
    Hope this helps.

  • Clarification of the correct Power Supply for a FW800 1.25GHz?

    Hi,
I have a G4 FW800 1.25GHz. Should the Power Supply installed in this Mac be rated at 400w or a 360w? I bought this 2nd hand & I'm wondering if someone has swapped the new for the old?? The Power Supply details are: Samsung PSCF401601A (C) REV. A. Total Output 400w. Apple PN 614-0183. I thought the 400w versions were from the original MDD models?
If this is the old, loud PS, should I look at replacing the 2 fans inside the PS (if the fans are the sole culprit of the noise emitting from the PS) or try to have it replaced with a 360w PS?
The CPU fan (under the Optical Drive) is a PAPST Multifan 4212H. I read from a previous post that this fan can be replaced with another fan such as this one from Frozencpu.com - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4274/fan-235/SilenX120x120x38mm_-_18dBA_-_90CFM_iXtrema_Pro_FanIXP-76-18.html?tl=g33c165s358
Is this going to reduce the noise in my particular FW800 Mac considering I have the APST Multifan 4212H already?
Also, can anyone recommend a specific PCI slot cooler which works fine in this machine?
Finally, there's a lot of talk about enabling Nap. I'm running 10.5.7. Is this still okay?
I've spent a lot of time reviewing the posts here, but I'm still unsure, so I would appreciate anyone's time to respond?
    Kind Regards
    Mark.
    Australia.

Does anyone no by chance if there is an upgrade for the PS on a FW 800 dual 1.42 besides this loud 400W one you're discussing. I've got the 360W PS right now and since upgrading the AGP video card to the ATI 9600 MAC/PC edition with 256mb I've been experience kernel panics every time I use the computer. Put the old ATI 9000 with with 64mb back in and the machine runs fine even using Final Cut 6 and multiple programs. Maybe it's just that this video card is buggy. Haven't been able to find any help in forums or through AMD. Because the card doesn't have a fan i thought it might be overheating the system possibly too. Any ideas anyone?

  • Power Supply for iPod 30GB

    Hi,
I just bought a new iPod Photo/Video (?) 30 GB. I used to own the iPod with ClickWheel 20 GB.
Can I use the power supply from the old 20GB on this new model? I have some weird reservations about charging though USB...
    Thanks,
    Wayne

You can use USB or Firewire to charge the iPod with no troubles.

  • Anyone know the correct Interent setting for Windows Vista to talk to Grace

I just can't get the download track names function to work.
It says 'CDDB info is not avalaible for some of these items'
It says this immediately and then locks up searching endlessly. Even if I change a track name I bought off Itunes to 'track 1', and press search, it locks up - so pretty sure my pc is not communicating with Gracenote at all.
I am able to access Itunes, buy music etc, so not sure what it is with Gracenote, but pretty sure my Windows Vista Internet settings my need tweaking. (I use Naked DSL if that helps). I'd really appreciate if someone else had this set up problem and knows the solution.

  • Does anyone know the capacity in hours for audiobooks on a nano?

I want to buy a nano for audiobooks only and want to know if it has enough capacity for a few books.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
It depends on their file size. Download iTunes here...
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download
Import the audiobooks from CD into iTunes (or other source) and see how big they are. See if all the ones you want are less than 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB, depending on the size of the iPod nano you would get.
I would say that the iPod nano is capable of holding a few audiobooks, though.

  • Power supply for MSI FM2-A75IA-E53

    Hi there.
Anyone know the required PSU for FM2-A75IA-E53 ??
    Espen

Hello folks, first post here. (From Norway, pardon my inglese)
I'm a system bulider, and have exactly 12 problems in my hands. That means, 12 x your problems, yes, 12 bulids odered from one client.
But, I've done some deep research in the meantime this problem popped out in several forums, all over the world.
The Streacom NanoPSU have till now, been released with two different AC-DC adapters (looks exactly like each other, except another sticker in the bottom), but both releases contained the same DC-DC module.
Thankfully, I still had one from the first version still available, and I tried this (also 12V/12.5A) and it works like a charm.
But, with the new AC-DC adapter, I had the same result like you guys. So, in panic, I scarpped the NanoPSU AC-DC adapters, and I ordered 12 new AC-DC adapters (only, no DC-DC part) on EBAY, that is the original AC-DC adapter for the PicoPSU since my client is in a hurry. Guess what - SAME result, doesen't work...  To assure I wasn't hungover or tired the day I tried the first version of the NanoPSU AC-DC adapter, and fortunately, I hadn't been dreaming, it worked perfectly.
SO - Folks.. What should I do now. I don't want to order YET another batch of AC-DC adapters again, everything costs money. Is there ANY chance MSI reads forums? No response on two mails yet (been near two weeks). The rumor about a BIOS fix could be the sollution, but I see the latest BIOS is from 15th of january, and I've tried it, no luck. (yes, it still works with the 1st version AC-DC adapter though)
I'll monitor this thread, thanks in advance whoever pull a sollution
