Anyone know what to do if a CD player quits? I have no E drive so would not be able to reinstall
I tried looking for a driver but none. Not sure how easy or cheap it would be to take out the old one a put in a replacement. I now have no (E drive so cannot restore anything from a CD.
It was working just a week ago. And now just doesn't seem to try to read the disc. That's why I thought it might be software. I downloaded an sp40170.exe driver but I think that was for speakers.

I agree with Grant. But to answer your question, that would be Word 2008. A quick search turns it up on sale at Amazon. You'll need to find it somewhere other than Microsoft itself, since MS stopped selling it when they released Word 2011.

I am getting the above message on many of the websites that I use, including YouTube, Soundcloud and others.
It seems like a virus. I can't access the sites at all - not using Google Chrome or Safari. Anyone know what this isand how to get rid of it?
ThanksUsing the "Network" preference pane in "System Preferecnes", choose your connection type (ie, Wi-Fi, Ethernet) and then click the "Advanced" button. One of the tabs in the drop-down pane that appears is labelled "DNS". Choose it to see the DNS settings in use by your computer.
If the address of the DNS server(s) listed are of the form 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220 then you are using OpenDNS. If using the DNS provided by your router, then it will be of the form 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.1.1, or similar.
Checking your router's setting depends on the router model.
Note that the way OpenDNS parental controls work, someone has to have an account with OpenDNS (not just be using their public DNS servers), and that account is associated with a specific IP Address. For you to be getting that message means that you have a) made a DNS request for a site using OpenDNS and b) you have made it from an IP Address that is associated with an OpenDNS account with parental controls turned on. That's the sort of thing which is highly unlikely to happen by accident (but not impossible)...how do you access the Internet? -
I am trying to restore my phone from the backed up information on my computer. It is asking me for a password. I tried my screen lock code and my apple id. Does anyone know what password it wants?

turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.

Hello, i am using ipad mini now. When i charge it till 90%, it will stop charging on its own. I need to reconnect in order to charge it till 100%. Another problem is when i am using an apps, for example looking through the photo, suddenly the screen will back to Home. Anyone know what is the problem? Thanks.

I used my Ipod while at the gym one day and now it's acting wacky. I have tunes that will not download due to an "unexpected error (-50). Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?
looks like the gtk theme is not the problem. didnt really think it was, but the documentation was worth posting. the guys over at ubuntu look as though they have dealt with this in great detail, and have produced a few solutions, which may or may not work. i have decided to post these for anyone else who may have these problems.

judging by a google search on this problem and the number of responses that came up, the bonobo/daemon error is quite a common curse for the users of gnome, although much more common in distros such as ubuntu or fedora.
i hope that this proves useful and if anyone has anything to add, please feel free. the more documentation the better.

another solution would be to remove gnome and reinstall it from scratch. (some please tell me if i am doing this correctly. thanks )
1. clean your catch:
pacman -Scc
2. remove gnome, gnome extras, and whatever other gnome files you might have installed
pacman -Rscn gnome gnome-extra etc...
3. reinstall gnome and gnome extras
pacman -Sy gnome gnome-extra
4. reconfigure your desktop the way you want.

Does Anyone know what's Apple stand on LOGIC 8 issues. Have they acknowledge any bugs? are they working patches/fixes, do they have technical docs talking about the frezing, crashing, clicks and other issues? Logic 8 is my first LOGIC version and unfortunately at this point is too unstable to even play with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

There isn't an SMTP server for Greece - it is either provided by your email provider, or the Internet provider you are connected through. -

Do you have any restrictions for purchasing apps on the phone? Settings > General > Restrictions. If you have a Mac computer or another Apple device can you purchase things in the App Store using the same Apple ID on something else?

To be clear you called the 800 number and explained what the situation was, old machine and lost the original DVD's?
Just checking because if you just called and tried to buy the DVD's they might tell you they no longer sell them but you aren't really trying to buy them your trying to replace the ones that are missing.
Ebay may work but there is a certain specificity to the DVD's required which, even if they seem right, might not work.
Good luck either way. If you get a chance when you get the DVD's I'd be interested in hearing how it all works out.

I'm guessing it's a compatibility problem similar to that that T-Mobile in the US has. I'm not familiar with chat-r wireless, but I'm guessing it's not a supported carrier for the iPhone. If they can't tell you how to fix it, I'm guessing it's just plain not going to work.

When I go to yahoo with my iPhone 6 the pages will not enlarge when I pinch them but it works on my iPad. Does anyone know what's wrong? Also the same on boyfriends phone he's eith Virgin and I'm with Vodafone do it cant be the providers.
Thanks for the link but none of those described the problem. No error message pops up. It just says "Accessing Itunes Store" but it never actually does. This only occurs when my iPhone is plugged in though.
