Only Apple knows the answer to whether or not there is a verified problem and if so when will a fix be released. As is their custom, Apple does not talk about these things and the rules of these communities prohibit speculation about future udates or upgrades. It is probably safe to say if a fix is deemed necessary it will be called OS X 10.8.6.

So frustrated!
I am trying to access some iTunes money for my son and keep running into security questions before I can purchase on his new iPod mini for him.
So I access my appleID, and sure enough, I don't recall ever setting these questions up years ago, and apparently my answers now aren't the same as they were back when I first set up the account even if I did so.
So appleID support tells me to send a rescue email. Only I don't have that option under manage my ID. Apparently I never set one up.
So appleID support says I need to contact iTunes support to fix this lack of rescue email issue. And they provide this helpful link.
Only the iTunes page has a link for iTunes support which redirects you to ... get this ... appleID support (AKA "square one") where you just were.
Freakin' brilliant, I tell you!

Does anyone Know why and AICC published file don´t display in the LMS?
I have published a file as an AICC file and got the URL added into an LMS, (Sumtotal), when I try to launch the content the LMS window keeps saying Loading, however; when I click the URL link from my browser the content displays with no problem.
I have been reviewing what might be the problem because I used to create content with Captivate 4 and I had no problem.
Can anyone answer some questions I have:
With the change to Captivate 5, a newer version of Flash is required?
Is the file trying to call the Adobe website or may call items not on the domain we have permissions to (internally) access? if so can you provide what the domains are?

ThanksWe have encountered this issue as well, not just with Captivate 4 but with Adobe Presenter 7.0.7 as well.
With Captivate 4, we have found that content published as AS3 and AICC will hang on the 'Initializing LMS...' page when launched from our SumTotal LMS (TotalLMS v8.2) if that content is located on a remote content server. It will, however, launch properly and track correctly when the content is installed on a content server that is on the same domain as (and thus local to) the LMS itself.
With Presenter 7.0.7 (which only publishes to AS3--there is no option for AS2), we have found that content published as AICC will take an excessive amount of time to load when launched from our SumTotal LMS and will not track correctly if that content is located on a remote content server. It will, however, launch properly and track correctly when the content is installed on a content server that is on the same domain as the LMS itself.
So, a common theme here is AS3. We did try publishing a C4 test sample to different Flash Player versions as AS2, and it appears there is no issue there. It's when we publish to AS3 as AICC and install on a remote content server that issues start cropping up.
My gut is telling me that this is a crossdomain policy issue. Would love for Adobe to investigate and offer a solution soon.

Just updated to the latest ISO7, unsure yet if I like the look, but know that Siri's voise is now poor quality and less human like. The old voice was far better quality and an enjoyment to hear, the new one makes me not want to listen to it now I have heard the old one...
Same here. I use SIRI in Germany and the quality of SIRI in GM was way better. Now the voice sounds more "robotic" like the SIRI voice in IOS 6
Oh, a friend of mine uses IOS7 on his Iphone 5 and the voice-quality of SIRI is WAY better. I´m using a Iphone 5S... Can anyone confirm that this problem only exists on the Iphone 5S?

I think they're slowly nudging people to switch, .mac & MobileMe are going away about July, may as well set it up now.
I understand .mac mail will still come through.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
• Server name: imap.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 993
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:

It seems to be automatically hang without a reason.
iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

Power Nap doesn't work right in my MBA mid 2011. Anyone knows why?
I just boght a MBA middle 2011 and power nap doesn't work right on it, specially in Mail app, where it downloads only a few mails and the rest of them are downloaded as usual, when recativate my laptop. Does anyone knows why?... i also tried to download the SMC update, but when i try to install it i get the message that my system is not compatible with the update.

3d back face feature not accepting pics- anyone know why?

I have been having a problem when I apply >filter> distortion> Basic 3d
to a image.. the dashboard says "Back Face" with an empty box next to it.
and the word None. I try to drag and drop an image but nothing happens... absolutely nothing... does anyone know why?
I have tried draging and dropping in the inspector, no difference, and yes I have tried dropping many different images as well all with zero success.

Change or turn off wireless security You may want to try toggling the settings on your wireless router, switching from WPA to WEP or vice versa, or, as a last resort, turning wireless security off altogether. Reset network settings on iPad. On your iPad, open Settings, then navigate to “General” in the left-hand pane. Scroll down and tap Reset, then select “Reset Network Settings.” This will delete any stored WiFi passwords and other information, but may result in a more stable connection.
Adjust brightness upward. Oddly, a number of users have found that they can resolve this issue by simply adjusting the iPad’s brightness level upward and off the lowest setting. To do this, tap Settings, then select “Brightness & Wallpaper” from the left-hand pane. Slide the brightness bar upward, then wait 1-2 minutes and check for an improvement in signal strength. Speculation holds that a power delivery issue associated with the screen brightness affects Wi-Fi.
Change thresholds in router settings. Access your routers configuration screen (for most routers, open a browser and enter the address 192.168.1.1), then change the fragmentation threshold and the CTS/RTS threshold as described here. Some users have found success with the settings Fragmentation= 2048, RTS = 512.
Change 802.11 spec on router. Try changing your router’s wireless spec mode from B, G and N to G only or vice versa. For AirPort routers, this can be accomplished with the AirPort Admin Utility. Switch routers. Although a far-from-ideal solution, some users have found success with switching to a different wireless router.
