Anyone notice the playback screen freezing?

I have the latest version of mainstage and noticed today that if a set is playing a backing track and you hit the next set button and then hit play for that sets backing track the display build in to the concert screen (not the playback plug in screen) does not scroll
can anyone replicate this??? am getting slightly nervous now as I have a gig tomorrow!

Well, in my opinion the battery life with iOS 6 on iPhone 4S is now much better!
1 % left and I have 8 hrs and 17 minutes usage and 1 day 7 hrs standby time. (I browsed the web, sent some E-Mails with pictures & received some text E-Mails, made some calls, used iMessage, Siri, Facebook, iCal, Contacts and other apps like Dropbox. Also I have 2 E-Mail accounts on "Push" and iCloud activated with all its features, except iCloud Mail and iTunes Match!)
With iOS 5.1.1 I hardly reached 6 hrs usage time.

For me it was Solution 5. I had to change permissions and add me as a user (only had system access to the folders).

I have an issue where coloured dots (small squares) appear on my screen and it gets to the point where the entire screen freezes although the mouse still moves but nothing works and I need to turn the computer off at the switch. Any ideas?

Reset the SMC and PRAM, if the issue continues then you likely have a failing GPU (hardware) that requires repair. To be sure take it in and have it professionally assessed.

IBook G4 only dances the "blue screen freeze"

My iBook G4 won't boot completely. It will go past the grey screen with the Apple icon and time wheel, but when it gets to the blue screen it freezes.
I've reset PRAM, PMU, and run Apple h/w test successfully. I've tried booting from various devices including the original distribution CD's, TechTool Pro CD, TechTool Pro eDrive, an external firewire drive, and of course the internal drive. There is no problem selecting another drive, but the end result is almost always the same: it freezes on the blue screen (I write almost because one time it did boot fully before freezing).
But wait, there's more! I had noticed in the last week or so that light on the power supply cord would occasionally blink. So I pulled the bottom cover off and reseated the DC-in board, checking the cable connections into the logic board at the same time. After putting the cover back on, the system booted! However, I was only able to work for an hour or so before it froze again. I took the bottom cover off again and checked the logic board connections a second time, and was once again able to boot. However, it froze again within a few minutes.
So, what can the problem be? The DC-in board? A connector? I have an appointment with a Mac Genius tomorrow morning at 10:00. However, this system has already had three logic boards - two of which I had to pay for out-of-pocket, and I believe that the last board is just out of warranty...
Please help!

Has anyone tried the Zeiss Screen Eraser on their iphone 5?

Carl Zeiss company is known for fine optical gear. When I tried locally to find a flat-weave microfiber cloth for cleaning my iPhone 5, all I could find was a kit with the cloth and a Zeiss Screen Eraser, made for cleaning LCD screens and touch screens. The Zeiss Screen Eraser contains a soft sponge moistened with a solution that does not contain alcohol or ammonia. The pictures on the package show what looks like a Kindle or iPad, a Blackberry-type phone, and a laptop. So far I have resisted trying it on the oleophobic screen of My iPhone 5, using only the microfiber cloth, which by the way is high quality, which you would expect from Zeiss. I would very much love for Apple to test the Zeiss Screen Eraser and see whether it is safe to use on iPhone screens. In the meantime, has anyone in the community been brave or foolish enough to test it themselves? Thank you.

The update screen freezes and will not let me use the beta

Whenever I try and open the Beta, it tries to add my previous firefox extensions into the beta. The screen freezes and when I close it, I cannot open the beta again. I uninstall it and try again and the same thing happens. I tried restarting my computer and nothing happened.

Create a new profile exclusively for the 4.0 beta version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it hasn't been, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

Is anyone experience reboots and screen freezing after updating to 7.1 on iPod Touch 5?

Is anyone experience the same thing? It's almost impossible to use my device now as those bugs occur each 10 minutes or so, and does Apple pretend to fix it on a future update?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Did anyone notice the problem with theme chooser??

Hello all!
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a problem -- I have purchased a bunch of extra themes and now when you click on the theme chooser, it brings up a great little window with ALL of your available themes. However, there are no scroll arrows if you have too many themes!! As such, there are "missing" themes in the chooser, but if you scroll the mouse to the top of the screen, it will change it (although you can't see the one you pick!!). So, they ARE there, but the window for picking them is screwed up.
Any help with this? Apple??

Yeah, and I've been told Apple knows about it.I think the cutoff point is about 60 themes total, then it breaks.
You can still use the actual theme chooser (what you're talking about is the themes menu, not the chooser) to change a theme by using the Choose Theme function from the Edit menu (not the New or New from theme)

Anyone notice the bezel is raised on the right side a bit

Anyone noticed the bad font quality with 1.1.1 ?

I can tell that the font is not as clear as the old firmware. i can really notice it. has anyone seen it on their ipods?

If anything I think it's a bit bolder and clearer than before.

Im reading hundreds of posts on apple.com and across the web generally which say that the yellow tint to the iphone 4s will get better over time "after the glue sets"...... but i havent been able to find an article to confirm that anyones phone has gotten better and lost the yellow tint which makes everything look washed out.
I just got my new phone yesterday and its really bugging me to have a redundant screen output compared to my "old" phone.
My partners 4s looks the same as my old phone, but his 4s compared to my 4s is very different.
can anyone help?
should i wait to see if it gets better?
Should i take it back? and infact can i take it back for something like this?

Has anyone noticed the phone lock glitch with the new iOS5 involving the double click camera?

Say your phone is locked and you double click the home button to bring up the camera shortcut right. I've noticed, and it's really messed up, but you go into the camera and snap a few shots right. If you click the camera roll @ the bottom left to check your freshly taken pics you'll get a screen that says the phone is currently locked...ok...thats good if some one snatch up my phone, but...if you just hit the freakin home button one single time...your phone is magically unlocked with NO PASSWORD NEEDED!!! Just awesome!

Yeah, it only works if you don't have a password set. Whether it's a glitch or if Apple did it on purpose is unknown, but yes I have noticed it.

Possible solution to the N97 screen freezing

Hi everyone,
I decided to open a nokia account to explain how i solved my troubles with the n97. First of all, sorry in advance if I don't write a correct english.
My user experience with N97 wasn't bad at all at the very beginning. When everybody seems to have problems, my firm 12 and 20 worked fine, no serious issues (however not perfect). It all begin a couple of months ago, my n97 didn't have the response i was use to. The screen didn't work, it was almost permanently freeze, as the menu key. I couldn't even switch off the alarm every morning and enter the pin was a hard work. The last couple of weeks i thought it had a hardware failure, but i've done several hard resets and mass memory formattings, and then it worked fine again, but only for a few minutes...And then I got it....It worked fine until i connected it to the Ovi Suite and some "help software" was automatically installed on the C: of my phone.
That is the point when my phone begins to have several performance issues. So I tried to unistall all this amount of software and my phone seems to work fine again. I don't remember the whole list of programs, i remember something like "Contacts DS group", "SMS DS..", "Controller service",etc... In fact I uninstalled everything I had in C: except "API Bridge" (The only program i had before connecting N97 to Ovi Suite).
I don't know if this is a general solution or if it's my solution to this kind of troubles, but if I can save the pain to somebody, this post has a point!

PD:By the way, if anybody from Nokia reads this: I see that lots and lots of people have problems of any kind, also, the phone has lack of RAM, lack of C: memory, even working fine the screen response is often annoying, in some areas the N95 was better, the loudspeaker is terrible, etc.... I think that a few apology words from the vice-president is not enough at all. If they HAVE BEEN PAID with all our money and the device is not by far what they claimed to be, and simply DOESN'T WORK, we need something else. Take responsability, you can sell a mistake, but then DO SOMETHING!!You can't DO NOTHING!Offer a discount on a new model, an exchange, whatever, use your brainstorming team!It would be a clever and polite hand played by nokia that customers would appreciate. I know that this is a way to acknowledge the failure of that device, but ...wouldn't be nice a little of honesty facing the evidence?
