Anyone Order iphone + Apple care/bumper/ (anything that needs merging)

Mine was due to ship on the 19th and come on the 21st, I ordered it on the 28th june 6 PM.
It shipped on the 14th
with a 27th estimate
Got an email saying we'l update you in 4/5 days once it is merged
on 15 july Delivery status changed too "in transit on schedul" - 19 july
Now my guess is that il get the Merged Email with carrier information on the 19th of july in which it will go from Holland to my door.
Can anyone confirm this, im getting impatient. Does anyone have a similar issue?

Does anyone know if Apple cares (unless you pay for Apple Care) if a clickwheel iPod with dock connected by firewire doesn't show up in iTunes, although it does show up on the Firewire bus in the System Profiler?

If you've been able to solve this problem, I'd appreciate hearing your solution. I haven't been able to find one in the forums, which doesn't mean it's not there, just that I haven't found it yet.

1.)Have you tried resetting the iPod with it connected to the computer?

3.)Have you ever had the iPod successfully connect with your Mac?
4.)Have you tried restarting your computer if you've been successful before?

I think I understand what you mean. You were asked if you wanted to merge the contacts with your iCloud account. Contacts take up very little room and are probably not the reason that your iCloud is full. If you're now backing up two devices to iCloud rather than one, that will indeed take up more room.
You cannot undo the contact merge. You can go to Settings>iCloud on either device and see what categories of stuff you're backing up and make selections. You can also purchase more iCloud space there.

Anyone order from Apple Store getting anywhere?

Hi all:
I was already booked on a trip to the East Coast when I heard that the iPhone was going to be released on the 29th and figured it wouldn't be a huge deal as I'd just order online and have it waiting for me when I got home (optimistically believing the stories of Apple laying in a sizable inventory). Unfortunately when I went to do so I saw the 2-4 week expected ship date and called Apple only to be told pretty much nothing (politely but nothing all the same). So has anyone ordered online and had their order move forward at all? I've seen some other posts that indicate that other people had called and heard that the phones would actually ship early in the coming week but I just though I'd ask here to see if anyone had heard anything different.
Of course after reading the problems that some people are having with activation and with me wanting to port my old number but it would still be nice to know when I might expect to have my phone.

I probably should have mentioned that I did place an order as the AT&T store that was right down the street from me here in Manchester, NH is already out and that yes, when I get back in the Bay Area I'll go check one of the local (Bay Area) Apple Stores and if they got them will buy it and then cancel the online order. And yes, I'm in agreement that they probably came out with the 2-4 week time line just in case but have to say that I think that was pretty ridiculous. Hyping the living heck out of the thing and then not making them immediately available at the one place that everyone has access to especially given the online activation process makes no sense at all to me...
Oh well, it will get to me when it gets to me.

I recently got my iPhone stolen with an Apple Care warranty. I know my phone is lost into the woods, but now, I just want to know if there's a possibility of me getting the Apple Care warranty of my old phone, on my new iPhone. Because I don't feel like paying 100$ for it one more time..

you want to transfer your applecare agreement to another phone, correct?
You should contact AppleCare technical for that one, they might be able to transfer it, depending on exact conditions, like the purchase date of the old phone. No garantuees, though.

How can apple care tell me that it doesn't cover accidents

I believe AppleCare+ is only available for the iPhone 4S. Give Apple
a call to be sure I am not mistaken. AppleCare+ was released with
iPhone 4S. Even if AppleCare+ is available for iPhone 4, you are
past the 30 days from time of iPhone purchase to be eligible.

I bought my Iphone5 in Korea last year, and I'll visit the united states for one year.
So I think that I have to buy an apple care service...
Question is this... : If I'll buy an apple care service in Korea, can I use this plan in united states?

Sorry, no. Your iPhone warranty/support is only valid in Korea, whether you have AppleCare or not.

so when 3am rolled around and the site kepts saying error and all the other **bleep** i decided to go to the apple site and im glad i did. the process was fast and it only took a few minutes. the site wasnt slow either so that helped. so who else ordered from apple?

yeah i got the same thing from apple regarding my order but atleast its ordered and all i have to do is wait. yeah im glad i didnt wait to order from verizon cause i jumped on the apple site and maybe 5 mins later( at the least) i was in bed haha

I am at my wit's end. I just moved to Kathmandu, and of course my macbook pro decided to die on me! I have tried an SMC and PRAM reset to no avail, and now there is nothing when I try to turn it on - no whizzing fan or sounds at all. My battery power is at full strength.
I need my computer to do my work as well as to stay connected to Canada, and I am feeling really frustrated that I cannot find ANY number or information on the Apple site, despite Nepal being listed as a participating Apple Care country.

There has been no mention of it in the Keynote presentation.
