Anyone receive the gingerbread (2.3) OTA update yet?

I figured people could post here to let other Charge users know when it starts rolling out.

They may not let me post this here, or may since it is the official veriozon SD OTA
THis is a stock, verizon, all programs offcial OTA only. Requires install from SD card.
Regardless of the EP4D name it is newer then EP4P.
IF you currently have EE4, then you move the update fiel to the root directory (not into any folders) of your SD card via usb cable connected to the PC.
You place the phone in stock update recovery mode and update via SD card.
Recovery mode (stock) (volume up+ home,+power)

Since I have seen several posts where Verizon techs have said the update continues to be pushed out, have you received the official (not downloaded) OTA 2.2 update since August 5, 2010?
If you could, please include: (1) the date and time your received the update; (2) where you are located; and, (3) the version of the 2.2 update.

My son-in-law received it a couple of days ago but there are 3 others of us in the family that are still waiting and we live close to each other. The distribution is also obviously not first-come-first-served. I guess there is nothing to do but wait. I'm hesitant to download it. I would be happier if Verizon had a server available so you could choose either to download it or go OTA. And I would be happier if Verizon were more forthcoming on the distribution plan and time-line. There appears to be so much mystery. Some of you have been told that they are releasing 5000 at a time or 70000 a day but I have yet to find an official schedule or plan posted by Verizon.
So I continue to wait.

Has anyone received the enterprise beta approval from apple yet?

my company applied for the program when it was announced but i cannot find anything to show that apple has started sending approvals.
i called apple about 2 weeks ago, spoke to a Customer Relations person who said they'd be announcing it "soon" and that they're "in the process of reviewing applications".
it's almost may, and the 2.0 software is going to be released in june. not much time to test the 2.0 software if you ask me. it would be nice for IT companies, such as the one i work for, to get a jump on how to implement and understand the 2.0 software before the masses start calling us for support.

Any company that has been contacted would be under a pretty strict NDA. The March 6 event mentions some of it was already being tested at a few companies at that time.
I would not expect answers on a public discussions forum such as Apple Discussions.

every single update so far was pathetic attemp to fool us and make us happy.
there is no change at all from v30,31, and 32. exect the slightly smaller font for text input in v32.
nokia promises alot in the new update, (browser, smiler and map)
hope it leaves up to the expectation and include the portrait qwerty,homescreen and lockscreen.
Why is it so hard to implement?
slide to unlock and homescreen is already available in c6, and the portrait qwerty is available in 5800.

It is August 18th and we all know the rumors said we would get Froyo today on our Incredibles. If you receive the HTC Droid Incredible Froyo update, please post here so those of us waiting will know that the update is starting to download. It should be downloading by batches of phones. Once we know it has started, at least we'll all know it's then just going to be a short time until we are in an update batch.

My wife had the update waiting when she checked her phone at 9am this morning, I'm still waiting.
She's got a 917 area code and I'm 646. Her phone's paid by a corporate account while mine is tied to a different larger corporate account, but it is my personal phone that I pay for.
I've got my phone about a month before her and have been a longer VZW customer, so no idea what the distribution order is.

I received the update yesterday (8/10). I then installed the 10.1 v3 beta for flash and it works pretty dang good. I loaded up a video on adultswim.com and it lagged just very little. Ohh and Pandora sound works just fine as well.

Hold on tight it'll come i got mine accouple days ago. An when it Does some things to remember before you except
it.
Do this:
Make sure you run the battery down an then Recharge it fully before doing the update.
Its a good idea to be close to the Tower so you can get the best signal while doing the update process
let the update go fully thru its steps it will take from 20 to 30 min. an no incoming or outgoing calls can be made an at the end of the update for about 2 to 3 min. it will look like its doing nothing but it is just leave it alone an finally it will be done an will be then at the home screen.
i would then shut it off wait about 5 min an then turn it back on. the boot up process will be alittle faster.
And my final suggestion is enjoy your new Incredble thats what i call mine. B33

If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to double-check your points history going back to the date you placed your order. Has anyone received the iOS 5 update?

Ok its the 12th of October and I have downloaded iTunes 10.5 and I still havent gotten he iOS 5 update!

I have also been hearing the 12th, but haven't seen anything yet. What makes you think in a few more hours? In checking online, I don't even see anyone talking about it today. I figured it would be a hot topic being we aren't really getting any answers.

Yes, it's a common issue in MacOS 10.10 affecting the open and save dialogs.
Apple is aware of the OS bug and working on a solution.

TS3219 Is anyone receiving a "unknown error" message when updating/getting new apps?

Before and after installing the new update I started receiving an "unknown error" message when trying to update apps. I changed my password thinking that was it but I am still getting the error message.

Try signing out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again and see if that works for you.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap your ID and sign out.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Sign in again -Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign in.
If that doesn't work either, reset your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

We're trying to set up our clients to first point to our own xserve then, should it for some reason be unavailable, to check apple's. We're not quite sure how to do this but it should look something this right?:

We are using Work Group Manager to create computer groups for our client computers. On one of the computer groups we select the group, then go to System Preferences -> Software Update.
We set it to be Always managed and provide the URL for our xserve that will be hosting the service. we would also like to specify for this group of computers that if our server crashes and they are unable to access the server for updates, that they should point to Apple's update server instead. Would just like some advice on how to do this.
