Anyone seen X1900 shipping yet from apple?

i was on the macrumors site and they were saying that the mac's w/x1900 were to be starting shipping as of yesterday has anyone gotten notice from apple yet?
and then i see this posted by someone on forum:
"Mac Pro with the ATI card just slipped two weeks to 28th September. The Apple Online Store said that this was due to a manufacturing problem at one of the plants and that many Mac Pro orders have had to be cancelled and re-ordered to be produced at the other facility..."

My X1900 Mac Pro is holding steady with a Sept 12th projected ship date. I ordered Aug 7th. Honestly, if something happens to the order, you will get an email about it (like I did yesterday when they lowered the price on the Video card).

  • Has anyone received a good iPod from Apple online store?

Has anyone received a good iPod from Apple online store yet? (38th week batch without screen issue)

Also got a week 38, came two days ago. Everything, including the LCD displaying black, seems perfect.
I had been holding my breath for the past week. The LCD problem worried me so much that I tried to cancel my preorder to the Apple store. Becuase I had it engraved, I couldn't cancel.
For me, it all seemed to work out.

I have new MacBook Pro with OS 10.10.  My MAIL program was working but suddenly won’t recognize my VERIZON FIOS server.  FYI, the MAIL programs on my iPAD and old iMAC continue to work. No answer yet from Apple Support HELP!!!

    Additional Information.
On my Mail Accounts setup it was set to "verizon.net" on incoming.
    Now it faintly reads, "incoming.yahoo.verizon.net"
This came up automatically ....  I did not do it and I cannot change it

  • Has anyone ever had an email from Apple asking them to update their details for their Apple account on IPad? Kinda worried as it asks for my bank details and bank account number and security code on the back of the card. Thanks :)

Has anyone ever had an email from Apple on IPad asking them to update their account details? The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Any help is gratefully appreciated.....Thanks.

  • Did anyone get a reservation ID from Apple?

Hi, I ordered the iPhone 6 Plus in Gray with 64GB. I was able to complete the order and received a confirmation for my reservation stating "we received your order and have reserved this iPhone for you, we aren't able to contact the carrier as of yet but rest assured" So I received an email from Apple with the reservation ID about 30-45 minutes later, when I click on the link buyiphone.apple.com/status it asks for the reservation number, zip code, and last 4 of social/account PIN (your carrier). After entering the information it just comes back stating "I'm sorry we cannot find your reservation, make sure you enter the information accurately", yet I copied and pasted most of it.

Boy were you lucky. I stayed up until 12:30 am Mountain DL time, then stated trying to get on the Apple Store site. After 2 hours of trying to get to the site, I went to Plan B and went to the AT&T site and ordered the 6 Plus 64G. No estimate at that time as to delivery date.
This morning, because I delayed an hour and a half trying to get on the Apple site, may delivery date is Oct 31 to Nov 20! I will be trading my phone in Oct 3, so I wonder if they will just not charge me for the month that I will be without a phone?
One thing I did learn was to NOT to trust Apple in critical situations. They obviously knew of the problems with their systems and still failed miserably in keeping people in the loop when there was a problem.

  • Anyone experiencing extremely slow downloads from Apple?

For the past 48hrs or so I've been unable to stream or download HD Video from iTunes store or iCloud on any of my devices, Apple TV's or Computers.
Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other HD Streaming services unaffected.  Internet up and running 45Mbps connection, working great. only thing affected is content from Apple, specifically content purchased and on iCloud.  iCloud account fine, Apple ID account fine.  Can access Apple.com, iTunes Store, Apple Store, Communities, and content, however, streaming, downloads extremely slow, almost unresponsive....
Is anyone aware of any slowdown issues, servers down, or other issues affecting access to content?
You know because Apple is always so forthcoming on these issues!
So far Ive found no mention of any issues in any of the communities....
    Thank You.

Apparently Adobe is having server problems. Other users have reported problems today.

  • Anyone brought a refub MBP from Apple?

After giving both the Blackbook and 15 inch MacBook Pro at my local Apple Store, I've decided to get a certified refub from the online Apple Store (my choice being the 2.16 MBP) Has anyone done the same thing before? It seems that I'll not only save between 500-600 (i could also get the 2.0 ghz model), but with Apple givng these a very rigid test and checkup, I would basically have a new straight from the factory machine 9well almost new but good enough).
Oh, and if I can't get a Duo Core 2 15 inch, will the upcoming Airport base station still work with it?

I bought a refurb MBP 2.0 from Apple.com. It works almost flawlessly, and connects to my Linksys router everytime. It also worked well recently on a trip and conntected to the hotel wireless without incident. BUT, the first time I tried to play a DVD the screen went nuts, with little colored boxes all over the screen making the DVD not viewable. took it to the Genius Bar, and they suspect it's a logic board problem, and as of yesterday I have requested a replacement MBP. I should also mention that it runs hot, so much so, that I was concerned about damage and now run a Targus laptop cooler under the MBP when its not sitting flat on my desk (chair, laptop, etc). That keeps the temp down and me less worried about potential heat problems. (it's running at about 125F degrees now. Anyway, given the hundreds of $ I've saved, I'd do it again in a heartbeat, and am happy with the choice.

  • Can we not delete shipping addresses from Apple Pay once submitted?

I entered the wrong zip code by accident and now cannot delete the shipping address.

I'm also wondering where Apple Pay pulled my billing and shipping addresses from in the first place. iTunes? My Contacts card? Strangely, it appears to use only one billing address even though you could conceivably have a different address for each card. Like the OP above, I see that I'm able to add new addresses, but then there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the old ones.

  • Anyone in the UK got their 2011 model yet from Apple store?

Im just puzzled how "1 to 3 days" seems to have translated into 3 weeks.
Finally got a dispatch text last night, but with a delivery estimate of mid to late march - ***? They shipping these thing on the backs of some kind of rare amazonian snail or somthing?
Should have just got on a train to london and gone to an apple store there - grrrrr!

Yeh - it was custom config.
Just got another update to say its in trasni and will get ful shipping details in 5 days?
Wierd - I guess they must be shipping them direct from china or whatever they are made?
I had assume the customisation was done here in the UK and so it would be quick - not at a factory in china and a slow boat etc...

  • No response yet from apple!

I put my email in for any info that comes up on the iphone on apples site. Has anyone recieved an email with any info for the iphone 4 yet regarding preording or any other content?
    Message was edited by: Roarky

The e-mail(s) will go out simultaneously to all who've signed up to be notified, informing those interested that pre-orders are "now being taken." It will happen when it does, not before, not later. Until then, relax, grab a brew, chill. Cool.

  • Has anyone seen artwork/covers shrink on apple tv? 5.2, ATV3

    Hi guys,
Have you ever seen the artwork for TV shows or album covers shrink on the apple TV when computers is selected? I have...
I've attached a picture. It happened after lots of menu-clicking trying to get the ATV3 to reconnect to home sharing (which is itself another story entirely with the ATV update to 5.2).
FYI - I removed my library name in iPhoto while i was cropping the image down to fit into the 2MB limit the forum has for image upload.

For reference, here's an image almost the same size showing normal icon sizes....
I would expect the artwork in the original photo to butt right up against the underside of where it says "*'s Library", much as the artwork here is up against "iTunes Match".

  • Has anyone seen the Send Information to Apple?

I was Syncing my phone to put a movie on it and some pictures. When I plugged it in I got an alert box that stated that my iPhone had diagnostic information on it that would be helpful to Apple. It stated no personal information would be sent. Gave me option to send or refuse. As far as I know my phone is working perfectly, no problems I can see. Very interesting. I wonder if they will do this on a regular basis? I don't care but I can see that others might. As far as I'm concerned no software ever leaves beta testing, I am willing to help. Now how do I run a Citrix client so I can get into my work computer system?

Yes, several times in the past couple of days. The crash logs are similar in format to Mac OS X application crash logs and can be found in /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/youriPhonename/.
So far I've had these files created and uploaded to Apple:
    ResetCounter.crash
    MobilePhone-2007-07-05-171713.crash
    MobileMail-2007-07-06-140211.crash
And a separate directory named "Baseband" with two log files:
    log-2007-07-08-02-38-50.txt.submitted
    log-2007-07-08-12-31-34.txt.submitted
My iPhone froze, requiring a hard reset holding the sleep/wake and home buttons for 10 seconds, today. The "ResetCounter.crash" file was created on the first sync after that freeze/reset.
