Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release the buttons...

What model of mac pro are you using (e.g., 2010 Mac Pro is 5,1).
And also,
Try smc and pram reset.
And see if the monitor lites up if you boot in safe mode.
It is possible your monitor simply failed -- its power supply or something else.

I have had this problem several times. The iPad comes off charging with a black screen and only a hard reset works to get it back. Then you have to go to settings to be sure nothing changed there.
I have had serveral hard resets and three restore operations and the problem recurs. I am not sure if it is the iPad2 or an app that is causing the problem. So far I can live with it as is.

that might be a reason. Don't worry it will turn on after some time, try connecting it to your computer or charger and see if it helps!!...

My iphone just went black

my iphone 4 just went black and wont repsond. the last time i looked at the battery it was at 56%. That was about 10 minutes before it went black. I picked it up off my lap and it didnt repsond. I tried to turn it on and still nothing. I plugged it into the wall charger and nothing happened. Then i plugged it into my comouter wuth my itunes software and it didnt synce the phone. I even used 2 diffrent phone cords. Any ideas what to do??

If it never worked after the screen replacement then it would appear that you have a hardware problem either caused by the repair or the problem that lead to the screen replacement.

If there is nothing showing on the iPad's screen, then assuming that its battery isn't empty then have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear and it will boot up - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I grasp that when you power on the notebook it flashes 3 times but does not boot to Windows. Here is a link to Computer does not start and the LEDs blink or the computer beeps that will help you determine the cause.

Is your battery out of juice, have you tried charging it? If the battery is flat dead it may take a few minutes after plugging it in before the screen will show anything.
