Anyone with GrooveAgent or Kontakt3... without problems w opening projects?

Does anyone work with groove agent? (similar issues occur with kontakt3)
There's one day I can't open a project that contains one or more groove agent instances, or it takes long long time to open (15-20min)!! I'm desperate, because I can't find the solution. I can't find a pattern to know when this happens. In activity monitor/logic pro/files and open ports I can see as last open file the following:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Groove Agent 3.component/Contents/Resources/Groove Agent 3.rsrc
... and nothing else for a long while or till infinite.
((What I'm doing at the moment is to disable core audio, load the project, save it with different name, purge it (this is to delete everything except groove agent track), switch on core audio, cross my fingers, wait, wait, wait more (till plugin is loaded correctly), and bounce that track and import it then in the original project. So now I have two projects, one for GA and another one for the rest!))
This behavior NEVER happen in young projects. Are my projects corrupting with time? I reorganize memory usually and don't think so. What can I do?
I've tried by reinstalling groove agent, checking folders/files permissions, watching the console, everything! but nothing to do. Any idea or help will be fantastic!

mmh, as additional advice, when creating new project and grooveAgent loads fine, the next open files after grooveagent.rsrc are:
/System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/Resources/QuickTime.rsrc
/System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/Resources/English.lpro j/Localized.rsrc
Do I have to think my problem is something related to quicktime??

You would do far better starting your own thread, particularly as the question is marked as answered. If you were to do a Google search for "3 beeps+Mac" you would find that this means something like memory banks did not pass memory testing.
If you look near the top of this page, there is a search facility: entering "3 beeps" comes up with the same answer and some links.
Your problem is memory and if you have taken it out and reseated it properly, I would suggest running the hardware test (start up and press the D key; on some Macs you will need to do this with the Install disk). And depending on the result of that: back to the shop.

Anyone able to install update WITHOUT problems?

Seems like everyone is having problems with the new update. Is anyone able to update their iPhone without these problems??

I didn't have any problems downloading. I tried most of the new applications. The changes have not (as yet) been listed in the "user's manual". The video explaining the changes is primarily about the new iTunes feature. I had a heck of a time trying to find the feature that allows you to disable "EDGE". I think it is the "Data Roaming" feature listed under Settings/General/Network.

Anyone with Neo2 (7025) have this problem?

After much researching and frustration.. I'm finding that the problem I'm having with my Neo2 (7025) motherboard with the firewire connection not working.. has to do with XP service pack 2.
I have the yellow error in device manager for the ochi firewire host controller and if I put any pci cards in and of the slot my system crashes! The folks at Microsoft had had me try many different thing but nothing has worked yet.
Has anyone else had (have) this problem?... know of a fix?... or is it something just with my motherboard?.. It seems to work otherwise.

Sounds more like a hardware related issue, like the board being shorted to the case at some point where it isn't supposed to be.
Excess spacers (the things that screw the board to the case) can do that.

Anyone With Cd/dvd/r/rw Problems!!!

I'm seeing a lot of people with removable drive functionality problems on this forum. If you are having any problems, this following this thread may help you.
This is not limited to, but is target SPECIFIC applies to the below list:
If you have:
CD-ROM
DVD-ROM
CD-R/RW
DVD-R/RW
DVD+R/RW
Removable USB/IEEE storage (Card readers, external USB/IEEE drives)
It may also pertain to hard drives ON any connector S-ATA or ATAPI IDE
And are having problems with:
Device Recognition
Slow Read Speeds
Drive Read/Write data errors/corruption
Bad CD/DVD burns
Crashes that are directly resulting from the removable device.
Here's what will probably (almost 100% certain) fix your woes.
1. UPDATE YOUR ASPI LAYER. This affects hard drives as well. If the layer is not up to date, incomplete or damaged in ANY way, this will fix several problems that ARE NOT ADDRESSED IN ANY WINDOWS update or CHIPSET/DRIVERS updates!!!
2. UDATE YOUR FIRMWARE ON YOUR REMOVABLE DEVICE. This is VERY important with older removable devices as they may be confused by how newer chipsets handle 32-Bit/ENHANCED IDE/BUSMASTER capabilities.
3. DISABLE BUSMASTER/32-BIT IDE MODE. Many older and even new drives have problems with IDE BUSTMASTERING so disabling this can fix MANY problems with various removable drives. Some drives don't like running in DUAL FIFO mode which is a problem if you have BUS MASTERING on which uses DUAL FIFO buffers instead of SINGLE FIFO buffers.
4. DISABLE IMAPI CD-BURNING IN ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS/SERVICES. IF you don't use the built in Windows XP CD-Burning function, disable it. It has several KNOWN issues with Hotburn, Nero, Adaptec EZ CD Creator and more!!!! It also makes those burning programs LOAD faster, and RUN more stably!
Here is the BEST SITE IN THE WORLD for finding new stuff for your removable drive. You can FIND firmware for ANY removable device. Some firmwares have been updated for additional functionality that did not come on the drive originally such as higher ripping/reading speeds (all drives), and extra burning functions options (R/RW drives only). I believe they have all the ASPI stuff you need too if you want to upgrade your ASPI layer.

I love the people here!!! That's why (despite owning an Asus board) I come back again and again.

since day-1 IMAPI is set to manual. But I can look in task manager and see it activate itself MANY times when I'm not even burning a CD. It's just better to DISABLE it if you don't use it. Besides Nero is WAY better. I couldn't imagine burning multicompilation SVCD's and DVD's using IMAPI. It's a drag and drop for novice users or people who don't want the hassle of installing 3rd party software. But at some point most people want to burn something that the IMAPI service won't do.
Lame software!!! Like Adaptecs DirectCD junk... They have links the ASPI layer there on The Firmare Page. But you can also get it from Adaptec's site. It's just an installer.
I've found as others though that the one on Adaptec's site is not as good as the ones on TFP site when it comes to burning discs.
ASPI is an old throwback to the SCSI days. However it is still used today. "People say I don't need ASPI cause I have all IDE drives"
THIS IS DEAD WRONG....
ASPI is a translation layer that allows ATAPI devices to correctly interact and correspond with the CD drives (with Promise, Highpoint, etc.). Without ASPI many older generation CD drives won't even work! In addition since Windows detects all RAID and ATA PCI cards (onboard too) as a SCSI device the ASPI layer corrects any errors that may be happening regarding data transfers across the IDE bus.

Has anyone with the iPhone had a problem with 7.3 itunes?

I'm curious to know if people who bought the iphones have had the same problems with 7.3 itunes that seems so prevalent on the discussion board (like getting the error message in saving the library file, or frequent crashes).
I'd love to know, because if not, then it seems as if 7.3 is designed specifically for the iPhone (supposedly the iPhones only works with 7.3), and that may be why the rest of us non-iphone consumers are having a miserable time with the upgrade.

I have an iPhone and since I've upgraded to 7.3, iTunes constantly stops responding and I've had to force quit. I've reinstalled iTunes countless times and deleted the iTunes preferences in my library file and while this works for 1 or 2 times, it soon does it all over again. Help!

Anyone with the gophone plan experiencing problems with EDGE?

I am noticing that with the gophone plan several times a day I cannot get EDGE data. I am in the bay area. I have a full signal and the E. It will keep trying to get data and then say "could not activate EDGE. Sometimes if I wait a bit it will work. This has been going on for about 3 weeks since I got the pay as you go plan. It happend before and after the 1.01 update and i have reset and restored the phone etc.

Correct...when you ordered you had to select the unlimited plan....but per this article if you "were" on the 150 MB plan then you can call and they will allow you to stay on this plan with the reduced price...

Problem to open file in Adobe Prem Element 9?

Hey i just have problem to open project, If i try to open the file, it says "The Catalog could not be opened. It is either corrupt, or the version is out of date and cannot be updated" Why i cant update and where i can? This Prem Element 9 is buyed for schoolcomputers and this is schoolcomputer and operating system is XP? I have been tryed repair file if it's broken, using Catalog.
So shall you help me? I just have to make my work to end..

Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.

Create a album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done. Note: Albums created on iPhone aren’t synced back to your computer.

Delete an album Tap Edit, then tap the delete sign.
Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!!

Is anyone running Photoshop CS6 on a Windows Vista 32 bit machine without problems? I have over 400 GB,s free disc space (c drive) and still am getting lots of errors and program closing problems. I do not have USB3 on my machine so if I purchased a few 256 GB ssd drives would this help it from crashing?

Jack, as Curt has suggested, available drive space comes well down the list regards a happy experience with Photoshop. You have also asked a self-defeating question, because the fact you are running Vista, and a 32bit version at that, more or less precludes the ability to run without problems.
Windows 7 was billed as the first MS OS to need less system resources than its predecessor. If your system hardware will support 64bit, then consider paying $90 for an OS upgrade What is your system out of interest? I have a feeling you are running with just 2Gb RAM, which just isn’t enough. Post your specs or make and model, and I am sure you’ll get some help with what your mainboard will handle by way of RAM and whether it will support 64bit.

Afraid to install update; anyone with NO problems?

Hate to sound like such a fraidy cat, but having read all the posts reporting serious issues after installing the latest update (I guess it's 10.4.9 since I'm running 10.4.8 and am getting update notices via Software Update), I'm hesitant to install it!

IMO, checking your boot volume for any directory errors via Disk First Aid repair via Disk Utility when booted from your Tiger install disc is more important than repairing disk permissions beforehand.
I've installed every major OS update when released with Jaguar, Panther and now Tiger without repairing disk permissions beforehand without a single problem but I always check my boot volume for any directory errors with Disk First Aid repair beforehand.
After using the Migration Assistant with my PB when new 1&1/2 years ago, Software Update indicated there was a major OS update available along with some additional updates. Although my PB was brand new and had not been on for more than an hour, I ran Disk First Aid repair on my boot volume before installing the available updates. Lo and behold there were some directory problems that were successfully repaired. I venture to say that I probably would have experienced some sort of problem after installing the updates had I not done so. As always, I didn't repair disk permissions beforehand and the updates were installed without any problems.
I usually repair disk permissions afterwards which is where any problems with permissions can turn up.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now?
