Anyone with preorders seeing any updates on iPhone 4S shipping?

I ordered on the 17th of November (exactly a week from this post date), and have yet to hear anything. Just wondering if anyone else has any updates.

Have you gotten any updates yet? I ordered my Nov 21 and have yet to hear anything, but yours should be right at the end of the 1-2 weeks mark for shipping.

The No Service means there is a problem with cellular service. You mention wifi in your title. Which is it you are having trouble with? What happens when you switch on and off as you state in your post? Are you saying that wifi does not connect while at home either?

Hi Ersin,
Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?

Try doing a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

i talk to at&t about that i also ordered from apple the guy said they will still ship it but u cant activate it until u pay ur past due balance on ur bill so u have nothing to worry about just pay it before u try and activate it and u will be fine.. i ordered june 18th at 12:23 am and mine went to prepared shipping 4 days ago but my ship date was still july 14th
oh and my bill is past due and it still changed to prepared shipping and it changed after i talk to the guy from at&t so i know the past due balance has nothing to do with it not shipping right now.
i got to upgrade when i paid my bill on june 18th and i was eligible when i paid it so i ordered it now here in july im past due and its still in process so ur bill really has nothing to do with it as long as u ordered it while u were eligible u are fine.

Issues with ios 8.3 update on iPhone 5

After updating my iPhone 5 to ios 8.3, I am unable to stream purchased music and videos from iTunes or any podcasts. I also can not stream videos on YouTube, Netflix, or Safari. Nothing works on both Wi-Fi and my normal data. If I could I would try to turn off the phone and restart but unfortunately my iPhone 5 is one of the ones that has the faulty lock button that needs to be repaired. But besides that, has anybody else been having issues with streaming music and videos?

but if you have problem with turning off the phone,
you can set up "assistive touch" from setting > general > accessibility > assistive touch (down the bottom)
you can also set this on the accessibility shortcut for the triple click on the home button to show/hide the assitive touch
you'll see a black circle floating on the screen somewhere. you can move this thing around if it blocks what you want to see/tap
now to turn off your phone you can tap the assistive touch button > device > tap and hold the 'lock screen' icon until the power off slider comes up.
so you don't really have to fix the lock button

Ever since I upgraded my iphone4 to ios6 I can't get stable connection with home wifi. I am sitting less than 5 feets from the router. My iphone either cannot find the hotspot or getting very weak signal. And it's so weak it will break every two minutes. My ipad is running ios5 and it connects instantly. My ipad can find dozens of hotspots; my iphone can't even find my home wifi.
Yes, I have tried every solution on the web, changing my router setting, reset network setting, recover to orginal settings.... NONE OF THEM WORKED. It is obvious a software problem. IOS6 does not support my router as it did in IOS5.
Seriously, if Apple does not fix this problem, I'm gonna switch the system.

Problems syncing with Outlook after latest update to iphone

I just updated my iphone 4 with IOS 7 and now it won't sync with Outlook. I would greatly appreciate help in solving this issue.

I am having the same problem. I have edited my contacts in outlook and these edits are not being picked up on the iphone. Ill give you an example. I have removed all fax numbers in all of my contacts on my pc, in outlook. took me AGES. then I plugged my iphone in and two things happened (1) no changes were made to the contact on the iphone to mirror what i had changed in outlook (2) it seems as tho the fax numbers which were all stored on the phone are now all back in my outlook on my pc!
how do i make it so that when u sync NOTHING from my iphone goes onto my PC but only what i have changed on my PC goes onto my iphone???

SUS - Clients not seeing any updates

Hi all, hopefully someone here with prior experience can help me along.
I have a PowerMac G4 running 10.4 Server with all the latest updates and I want it to be a Software Update Server for any laptops around here that need updating.
I installed Server and set it up with no crazy settings at all. This server is strictly an internal Software Update Server. No clients will be hitting it from outside of my network. The only service I have turned on is Software Update Server. SUS did it's "dance" with Apple and downloaded all necessary updates and the service is on and running. I have Automatically mirror updates from Apple and Automatically enable mirrored updates turned on. My server is assigned a manual IP address from our router.
My problem lies with the client computers. I have a dummy client laptop setup and running 10.4 and I am using Software Update Enabler to try and connect to the SUS Server. I have tried connecting using the http://IPAddress:8088 address and upon launching Software Update on the client computer it shows connecting to my server but it tells me there are no updates available. I'm not sure where I am going wrong here? Do I need to have DNS turned on the server for it to work properly or am I ok with using the manual IP address assigned to the server? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Do your local machines use a proxy to get out to the Net? If so, try this.
I created a new Location under Network Preferences without the proxy settings, called it Updateer, set the Software Update Service on the server to deploy through port 80 instead and set Software Update Enabler to go through to the server via http://serverIP:80 and everything works like magic. Had no luck until I went this way. You'll have to put the Location back to normal after so things work as they should Internetwise but Software Updates work incredibly faster.

Updates for he Lumia 822, being a Verizon phone, would have to be approved by Verizon. So far they have had a less than stellar record here and seem to prefer you just upgrade (=buy) a new phone with the new OS version installed.
Your point of contact here is Verizon, not Nokia as this is a Verizon product (made by Nokia)

Don't see any update to Premier 2014.1 on Windows 8.1

I updated Premiere on my Mac to 2014.1 version, but for some reason don't see an updated on my Windows laptop. I edited project on Mac and I need to finish it on Windows 8.1. Now, my Mac and Windows Premier projects are not compatible.

Try uninstalling Premiere Pro CC2014 through Windows Control Panel>Programs & Features, then installing through Creative Cloud.
If you don't find "Adobe Premiere Pro CC2014" in Programs and Features, then the issue is likely that you have only CC (7.2.2) installed, in which case the Installed Apps section will not show 2014.1, but the Find New Apps section will.

Call Forwarding Breaks with iOS 8.3 Update on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with AT&T

Ever since the iOS 8.3 Update, call forwarding is no longer working on my iPhone 6 Plus. I have spent dozens of hours troubleshooting with both AT&T Advanced Business Technical Support as well as many hours with top technicians from Apple at my local Genius Bars.
This is a critical bug for me as I used to use the call forwarding option multiple times a day, EVERY DAY, because when I am in certain business locations my mobile phone gets no reception and calls go right to voice mail. I need to have them forwarded to the land line I'm located at.
APPLE, PLEASE HELP!!!
I've done extensive testing, and this seems definitely to be related to Apple iOS 8.3, and it seems to be specific to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus ONLY.
To illustrate the EXACT problem:
A: Settings -> Phone -> Call Forwarding
B. Call Forwarding - Turn on
C. Enter Number and return to previous screen by touching the blue "Call Forwarding" to return to previous screen.
D. Call forwarding button is "green" for a split second, then returns to previous OFF state and no forwarding number is displayed. DOES NOT WORK.
NOT AN AT&T PROBLEM. IF SOMEONE IS EXPERIENCING THIS WITH OTHER CARRIERS PLEASE COMMENT HERE.
Further validation this is isolated to iOS 8.3 on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus ONLY and not the sim card from AT&T...
Here are the latest steps I did with my AT&T sim card and my wife AT&T sim card (she has an iPhone 5s):
1. Removed my sim and put it in the 5s. The phone said that a "carrier update" was required and I selected "NO" to that prompt. Call forwarding functionality worked as expected on the 5s running iOS 8.3
2. I removed the sim from the 5s and re-inserted it. This time I selected "YES" to do the carrier update to eliminate that as a variable, and the call forwarding functionality still worked as expected.
3. I then placed my wifes sim in my 6 Plus. Call forwarding functionality does NOT work on the 6 Plus (was not prompted for carrier update). Also, keep in mind this is my second phone (Apple provided me with a new iPhone 6 Plus when they couldn't resolve the problem at the Genius Bar after hours of troubleshooting).
Note: I did one additional test which as interesting: I put my sim in the 5s and turned call forwarding "on". Then, I put the sim back into my 6 Plus. The calls were still being forwarded to the number I put in while it was in the 5s, but the call forwarding interface in the 6 Plus showed that it was NOT forwarding calls. I could not turn OFF the call forwarding from the 6 Plus and had to put the sim back into the 5s in order to turn off the call forwarding.
If anyone has an update on this, or any other suggestions please advise! This is a critical issue for me as when I travel and when I am in poor areas of reception I need to forward calls. This is a featured I was using multiple times a day, EVERY DAY.

Yes, I am dealing with this right now on at&t with a 6 plus. I've been down the same road as you. I got it to work with a windows phone yesterday but not my 6 plus when I switched back to the iPhone. My wifes 6 works fine. I believe it is an at&t issue and not an 8.3 issue. After dealing through several levels of support at at&t, they are telling me it has to do with their transition to hd voice. Some people are having this issue because they are updating their system and some peoples phone profile, on phones that have hd voice capabilities, are not getting added to their line and call forwarding will not work without it. I have a trouble ticket open to their engineering dept and they promise it will work for me on or before the 24th of april. Engineering has to build my phones profile so call forwarding will work with my iPhone.
This is frustrating because like you, I need to forward my calls because I have no signal in my office and need to forward to another phone so I can get my calls. If at&t would quit dragging their feet and enable wifi calling, this wouldn't be an issue for me. I would suggest you put more pressure on at&t and escalate this until it gets resolved. Or put your sim in a phone that does not have hd voice capability and see if it works then.
Good luck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will be fixed for me on or before the 24th. We'll see.
EDIT: I see you did put it in another phone and it worked. That backs up that the issue is at&t and their hd voice upgrades. They had no explanation as to why some work and some don't, but have them make sure a profile for your phone is on the line. If not, they'll need to build one for the phone so that it''l work. At least that's the story for now. Like I said, I'll know more in a day or two.

I placed my order and was told a delivery date of 10/31. I am trying to find out the status but the order status page just says processing. Anyone know?

@ayanib_vzwsupport I placed my order in store 10/18, the representative in the store stated, the iPhone would arrive to me "BY" 10/24. Its 3:07 est 10/24 No shipping update nor has the payment been charged to my account. And reading other people who has been waiting for a month or so is not comforting, I canceled serv with at&t to come to Verizon... and still no phone... this is very disappointing.
