Anything else like U-Suit

From everything I could find out from re-sellers in the US is that Uniea has discontinued the U-suit in the US (which bums me out cause my gf's works really well)
I've had very little luck finding another brand soft cover case for my 13" macbook. Any suggestions please?
I am not looking for a back pack/sleeve or a hard case (esspecially not speck) but I would love to hear what people like, opinions AND LINKS!

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
iPad,iPod,iPod Touch Recovery Mode
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Do you mean the check box isn't enabled?
Or you remove the check but it doesn't "stick"?
Or you remove the box but documents are stil getting locked?
That setting doesn't apply to other things in System Preferences, just apps that support AutoSave and Versions. If you're having a problem with System Prefs, please clarify exactly what.

Is there a way to sync only my music from my iphone to my ipad and NOT anything else like apps?

I have an iPhone 3 and a brand new iPad 2. I was wondering if there was a way I can sync my music, but not everything else such as apps. I don't want my apps from my phone on my ipad, only the music. How do I go about this?

iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer

Installed Additional RAM - anything else?

I just installed an additional 512mb of RAM on my iBook, bringing the total RAM up to 1GB. The installation was pretty painless, but now I'm wondering: is there anything I should do to double-check the RAM to make sure it is working properly? On the 'About this Mac' page, it does show that my Mac now has 1GB of RAM, which is a good sign - but should I pursue anything else like a Hardware Test or the like just to be sure?

Usually, you'll be alright, but if things start acting odd, like your machine stops booting, etc. that's when you might start thinking there is something wrong with your RAM.
Until then, chill out and enjoy things.

You may want to add more RAM to it right away. Also, if you plan on keeping it over a year, I would also suggest getting AppleCare.
Shop around the net. You can buy third-party RAM and AppleCare at a substantial savings.

Read your manual (you have a bookmark to it in Safari on your iPhone or put iBooks on your iPhone and download the manual from the iBookStore) and it will show you how to remove the microSIM from your iPhone. AT&T is not tourist friendly and does not offer a pay as you go plan for visitors with an iPhone. If you are going to be here for a short time you can probably buy a pay as you go microSIM and use it before AT&T notices, if it is going to be for a long time that won't work.
There is a 3rd party company that will sell you a microSIM that will work with AT&T but they are pretty pricey.
Finally, you can get a pay as you go microSIM from T-Mobile to work with your iPhone but you will only have EDGE data speeds.

If it's a generic SATA HD you'll probably need to format it for Mac using Disk Utility.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

It sounds like have an HDMI to VGA adapter connecting your MacBook Pro and your projector but the screen on your computer goes black and no image appears on the projector. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article to help resolve or isolate the issue here, named:
Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays
Try unplugging the video adapter or cable and then plug it back in.
If more than one video adapter is in use (or "daisy-chained"), troubleshoot by using only one adapter.
Example: A mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter connected to a DVI to HDMI adapter is an unsupported configuration because there is a series of adapters in use.
If available, try using a different display and or adapter (or use a different connector by using DVI instead of VGA, for instance).
Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.

FF4 will not show my tabs or anything else. Only shows there are other tabs if I try to close winow.

I have Vista, running FF4. I clicked on a (trusted) link in an email (craigslist posting). It opened in FF4 but no tabs or anything else is showing. I right clicked everywhere, nothing. I tried f keys, alt, shift, etc, nothing. I clicked red x in upper right cornor and it warned me I would be closing 8 tabs. I cancelled. In the original window, every time I click on a link like this (I tried others) it just opens a new tab, showing a blank page. When I click the red x, the page content appears and it again says I am about to close 10 tabs. I then clicked on the defective window, clicked on the email link and in the defective window, it opened a new tab and is hiding the other 10. It will keep opening tabs and hiding all the others.
I then opened another FF (from start menu) and it gave me a complete (all tabs) page. Clicking on the trusted link opens with no problem in a new tab in the new window. How do I restore the defective "window". I think this is a bug that needs to be addressed. Anyone else have this happen?

I cleared out a movie I made in final cut pro, now fcp will not open completely, I get the logo with all the names running through but never get timeline, browser or anything else? Help!! Larry

I removed a movie I had made and now when I try to open final cut pro, all the stuff shows up with the names, etc, but that is it, I don't get anything else, and, final cut does not show at the top of my computer. I have the 27 inch iMac with the intel processor, any help will be appreciated. Larry

Sounds like you may have deleted more than just the movie file. It the FCP application in the Applications folder? if so, try launching from there. If not, you'll neeed to uninstall the app completely using this: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/ then reinstall from the original install discs.
You may want to first try trashing FCP's preferences.

Just sounds the ding, alert, can still slightly navigate the program but can not use any other tools after clicking warp text. I just have to open task manager and close the program. not sure if I'm doing something wrong or maybe I just need to uninstall and re install. Having trouble finding out how to uninstall and reinstall because the program came pre installed on my desktop.

It actually sounds like the warp text window is opening off screen.
Resetting the photoshop elements 10 preferences should fix it.
*Press and hold the Shift+Ctrl+Alt keys just after you start the launch of the photoshop elements 10 editor
*Keep holding the keys down until you get a dialog asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop elements setting file
*Press Yes

No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

If this is indeed not the case and you have indeed not purchased anything from us, yet have been charged 239 DKK, there's obviously a big issue.
However, we're not in charge of the money handled in purchases, as Apple has chosen to be the only one controlling this.
As such you'll have to contact Apples support to get help with refunds.
