Anyway to make print preview in Elements 9 work like Elements 6?

I have used Elements 6 for years and just started using 9. Everything is fine except the print preview window. In 6 I was easily able to resize a photo and move it anywhere on the print area.
In 9 there is that box surrounding the print and it makes it impossible to do what i want. I sure hope there is a solution because I print non standard sizes a lot and I am really frustrated.

You have to use the Custom Print Size to resize that box.

Execute the ME9F tcode and execute you will get lot of PO's select any Po and press display message
you will see the print preview
Similarly for RFQ output use the Tcode ME9A
for Contrat use ME9K
for GR output use MB90

Can I make the Help Center application work like other apps

Hi, I've searched all over the place to find the commands I need to enter into Terminal to make the Help Center application work like an ordinary application, ie so that a help center window can remain open whilst using the appliction it refers to, I did it a long time ago on my Imac using Snow Leopard, but I just can't remember what I did or where I found the Terminal commands to do it (Old age is creeping up on me ). I would like to do the same for my mid 2012 MacBook Air running Mountain Lion any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Peter

OK I finally found it :- open Terminal and type the following:-
defaults write com.apple.helpviewer DevMode -bool true

Since installing Firefox 4, I keep getting this message "TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined" when a window should open. Also print and print preview don't work properly anymore.

Since installing the newest version of Firefox, This message "TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined" appears in a box when a new window should open. Also, what you see in print print preview is not what prints.

This type of error is usually caused by an add-on you are using that is not compatible. It could be anything from an antivirus link scanner like AVG Safe Search add-on, or McAfee Site Advisor add-on, or something similar. To confirm what add-on is causing this use the procedure in this link:

Try Disabling the last add-on that was installed prior to upgrading to version 5.0
Check and tell if its working.

Print Preview does not work. I only see a grey color screen

This is a new problem that I haven't encountered before. I can't see print preview for any page. All I see is grey color from top to bottom.
Only if I copy + paste to MS Word I can see the Print-Preview.
There is no problem with other browsers such as Google Chrome or MS Explorer. Please help.

Hold a flashlight close to the screen at an angle & move it around, do you see a faint Desktop?
If so the Backlight or Inverter is bad.

ALT-P shortcut no longer works in Print Preview

After upgrading to version 25.0 on Windows 7 64-bit Professional, the ALT-P keyboard shortcut in Print Preview no longer works. Clicking on the Print button works. I have not made any recent changes to add-ons or extensions.
My workflow requires that I print many times a day using Print Preview (don't ask!), and losing the keyboard shortcut is very inconvenient.

It doesn't work for me as well on Linux. 
Pressing the Tab key once makes Alt+P and other shortcut keys work again, so it appears that when the page has focus that the shortcut keys get disabled (if I click the preview page then the shortcut key stop working).

Smart form PRINT PREVIEW working on one box but not on other box

Hi Guys,
I have one program which works on DV1 box but is not working on DV2 box. It is NOT giving short dump. In this program there is PRINT PREVIEW button. This print preview button is work in DV1 but not in DV2. DV1 & DV2 are ECC 6 and we installed SAP service pack.
I will really appreciate if somebody can give me some direction.

Program is save in both the boxes. DV2 has SAP service pack, but DV1 not. I think this problem is related to FONTS not being supported by service pack.
How can I fix this?

Error print preview, print setup, print Reports

Hi All
I had Primavera P6.7 and worked well I upgrade to 8.2 after update when i make print preview, print setup, print and Reports ====> Run it give me errors like:

Event Code : AVAA0-2875-6

Can u Just let me know the Version and edition of Windows like Basic/Professional or Ultimate.
AVAA errors are commonly caused by lack of permissions to the Project Management install directory, the default path is \Program Files\Oracle\Primavera P6\Primavera P6 Professiona
Generally P6 writes a log to this directory. But if the Currently Logged in user does not have Read / Write access to this directory, an error will be thrown.
Solution:
Grant Read and Write access to the P6 PPM installation directory,
by default: \Program Files\Oracle\Primavera P6\Primavera P6 Professional for the Currently Logged In User
Pls Let me know whether this Has Worked For You Or Not.

I face another problem. Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow. Although i have create a layout in AR invoice form and applying the print sequences (ie 4 prints). Does any one know how to print preview fast. Just like in PLD.

Basically Crystal report run with SQL statement, I would suggest to do well performance tuning on SQL query / Store Procedure.
Structure your query in DBA manner that will make some how faster such as use ( inner join, less condition,...)..
also if it simple query then use Command in Crystal report rather store Procedure..that make some how Faster your report.

Print Preview broken with Reader 9.3/Firefox 3.5.7?

Since updating to Firefox 3.5.7 and Reader 9.3, one of our users reports the print preview no longer works properly. Trying to downgrade to Reader 9.2 or Firefox 3.5.6 produced similar results on my test workstation.
Computers in question are running Windows XP SP3.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there efforts to fix this functionality?

I do not use the method "renderPDFForm" (at least not explicitly), instead use the "renderXDPForm (...)".
I added the XDP form the zip (I forgot): download from here!

I cant' print using firefox. print preview won't display, won't print, printing dialog box won't display, etc

Seems like since I updated to firefox 5 I can't print web pages, print preview won't work. I click on the print option under file and nothing displays or prints.

Try the Firefox SafeMode and see if you can initiate printing from within Firefox.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Photomerge panorama not working in elements 11

Hi:
I cannot make the photomerge panorama function work in elements 11. It simply
generates the standard Window 7 error message and when it can't find a solution
the program closes. In previous versions ( 9 and 10) it always worked and never
caused a problem.
Attempting to rebuild the preferences file as suggested for a similar problem affecting
earlier versions was also done but to no avail. Its a function I use quite frequently so
until it is resolved I will keep using version 10.
Anyone have a solution for this anomaly??

The error message pops up right away and is generated by Windows not PSE. The java script that generates the familiar combo box that gives you the various panorama options for merging doesn't even have a chance to get started. The scripting support plugin is in Photoshop Elements 11>Required>Plug-Ins>Automate. This location is a change from the previous versions.

In ECC6.0 ME22N/ME23N Print preview is not working.Is it working for anyone .

In the case of documents that have not yet been released, a message is generated which cannot, however, be outputted.
You can tell that a certain message cannot be outputted by the fact that the Blocked indicator is set in the Additional details for the message.

Anyway to make print preview in Elements 9 work like Elements 6?
