Anyway to reinstall Trial?

Hi,
I am trying to use the Motion 2 trial, but can't since I get the message that it has expired. I down loaded the installer a couple months ago, and installed the program, but never had the chance to spend any time with it besides opening it up once to look at it. I just downloaded and installed the trial again, but no luck. This seems pretty strange to me that Apple would put out a time limited trial, which has limited capabilities anyway.
Any way to get the trial to work without have to do a complete system reinstall?

delete all of the "Motion" stuff in the /Library $PATH(s)and make sure there is no XML files kicking around for motion. You should then be able to reinstall it.
Usually apple has everything in:
/System/Libray/
/library/
/Users/<username>/Library/
~!>D

I need help to reinstall PS trial on PC computer running Windows 8.1. PS installed 4/17, ran in in degraded mode until it crashed 4/19. Recovery back to 4/16 did not include PS trial. I want to use this trial to know if it even runs on Windows 8.1.

Ok....I have trashed iPhoto and all associated files and re-installed, run disk utility and repaired permissions as well as repaired permissions from within iPhoto. Have rebuilt, library and database from within iphoto. I have tried to create a new library from within iPhoto and iPhoto Library Manager but the result is always the same...iPhoto crashes without getting past the black window. I have also created a new user and new library and iPhoto still crashes on start up.
The only thing I haven't tried is going into Time Capsule and retrieving an older copy of iPhoto and the library associated with it BEFORE upgrade to 9.2 and 9.2.1to see if that works. Any further suggestions woukd be very much appreciated. Thank you, Penny

Trouble with PSE 11 after reinstall trial and install fullversion

I have some trouble with my software.At first I hope you understand my miserable english . I tried out PSE11 with the trial and then I bought an fullversion. After reinstall the trial and installed the fullversion, everything is good. But when I started my PC this morning the Trial Software opened . Some brushes ( Smartbrush ) have no available functions. What can I do ? Whats going wrong? Can you help me ?

Close the Editor and then go to:
C:\Program Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Locale\en_us
Delete the file:
Mediadatabase.db3
Then start the program again from the Editor shortcut or from the welcome screen by right-clicking and choosing “Run As Administrator”

Is there anyway to reinstall the operating system?

I accidently turned off my touchpad while it was downloading an update and it installed the partially downloaded update when it rebooted. Now non of the buttons or the touchscreen works. It there any way to reinstall the programing while its connected to my computer through the usb. I already tried rebooting it again. that didn't work.

You can try using WEBOS doctor to reload the Operating System.

Firefox application starts IE instead, can't open Firefox in anyway! Reinstalation does not work.

Today I was browsing regular wallpaper webistes, and suddently my Firefox crashed, and opened IE to its home page. After this, in every way I tried to execute Firefox, I got IE opened instead. I ran a full virus scan, got some trojans wiped out, but the problem continued. Tried restarting, and finally reinstalling FF, but none of it worked. Never seen anything like this, anyone knows how to fix this?

Do you still have a Firefox desktop shortcut?
You can also check if Firefox is still installed.

Just purchased a CC account, do I have to uninstall/reinstall trials?

I've only got Photoshop CC (2014) and Illustrator CC (2014) installed right now and the trials both expired today. I've purchased my subscription and signed out and back in to Adobe Application Manager on my MacBook Pro but they both say "Trial Expired" and have a Buy button next to them which just takes me to the Adobe page to buy a license, which I've already done. When I open one of the apps and choose "License this software," I'm asked to enter a serial number which I don't have. Any advice? Thanks.

If you pressed Restore in the iPod updater then that will erase your iPod's hard drive. This is normal and there is no need to reinstall anything. Just plug your iPod into your computer and if it is set to auto update all the songs will be put back on. If it is set to manual update, then drag and drop songs from your iTunes library to the iPod icon in the source window.
The CD contained iTunes and the iPod updater software that was current when you bought the iPod. If you need to you can get the latest versions of each of these on the Apple website.

[SOLVED] accidentally deleted curl, anyway to reinstall?

I had some issues in curl and vmware player 5.0.1 in kernel 3.7.7-1, so I tried to remove curl (my bad, pacman -Rdd curl) and reinstall but reinstall fails
pacman: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Appreciate any advice on how can I reinstall curl.

are you pointing to any particular options in pacman.conf? pacman works on other packages (those non dependent on curl) when I put libcurl.so.4 from vmware directory to /usr/lib... but any curl dependent package upgrade fails with the following error

Anyway to get trial A3 to convert A2 library before purchasing?

I ordered the upgrade version of Aperture 3 from Apple the minute it was released and chose standard shipping...big mistake. Five days later, my upgrade is sitting 5 hours south of here in Orlando (makes no sense) and now won't be delivered until Tuesday (Monday is President's Day). I would have just purchased the upgrade through the trial download, but I got a discount by ordering the physical copy with my NAPP membership.
I had hoped to have it by the weekend to have ample time to convert everything over and troubleshoot, if necessary. So, now I am thinking about installing the trial and seeing if I can't somehow get it to convert my A2 library. I've read on other boards where some people are having success by restoring a vault backup of their A2 library or going to File>Import>Library/Project, and Aperture 3 trial will supposedly make a copy of my Aperture 2 Library and upgrade it.
If I'm successful, I assume I can just input my A3 serial when it finally arrives to remove the trial status. Has anybody tried this?

yes, I'm still on the Trial with no serial number.
I just wanted to see how Aperture 3 will handle my 30k referenced photos. And since I could not convert my Ap2 library with Ap3 trial, I decided to just import my Ap2 library. This worked nicely although it took a while.
Afterwards I had to do some additional actions (please excuse if not correctly translated from my german Ap3 version!):
- Reprocess Masters (to get the greyed out brushes to work)
- Deleted and re-created my previews (other settings to reduce my lib size)
The second action was also required to let the photos show up in iTunes to be synched with my iPhone
In my opinion this brought me to similar results as having my Ap2 lib converted. Got all projects and photos and Intelligent Albums in perfect conditions and with no loss (I think).
Some hints:
- Make a copy of your Ap2 lib.
- Open that copy by dragging it on the Ap2 program icon.
- Delete ALL of your previews!
Importing previews massively increased the time for the import and I had to delete and re-create them afterwards after re-processing masters due to the Brushes/iTunes/iPhone issues.
But ... I regret that I did play around with Faces then. This did eat all my 8 GB memory and crashed several "hundred" times and made starting up Ap3 a good chance for a coffee. Or two. Or three...
I switched Faces off again and am happy now with my Ap3 trial and all my pics imported.

I tried to open indesign cc trial and an error popped up telling me to uninstall then reinstall. I have uninstalled but now I can't figure out how to reinstall trial. I still have 18 days left. The adobe download center just says I'm up to date.

How to only restore only certain elements after reinstall

Hi guys
Quick question. My macbook is reeeeally tired, so I've decided to give it a complete reinstall of Snow Leopard. However, I am confused how I should proceed without loosing some vital things.
Here's the thing!
I have a complete timemachine backup of my machine but I do not wish to simply restore this entire image. I want a reinstall completely (to get rid of whatever is making my computer slow) and then just pull certain elements from timemachine to the newly installed and fresh OS.
I this possible? (1) reinstall (2) hook my timemachine drive to the computer (3) selected e.g. apps, musik, docs etc. to restore (i.e. restoring vital elements without getting the bugs back)
I have tried looking everywhere for this, so it would be for great help if anybody can answer!

That's much more complex that you may think, and is probably overkill anyway.
Reinstalling apps selectively can be done, but won't work well for complex ones -- if an app comes with it's own Installer, it almost certainly puts other files in other places, in addition to putting the app in your Applications folder. If you don't know what and where all those other files are, and restore them, too, the app probably won't work well, if at all.
It's usually much better (and safer) to address the problem(s) directly.
