Anyway yet to video call between PB & other devices?

I know Skype doesn't work, why they don't there must be some reason, licensing issue or something, but is there any other way to video chat between a playbook and an Android phone for example yet?
I hear this all the time and thought it would have a solution by now. I've ordered a second playbook as think there really great little tablets, but need to video chat between other devices to

Use www.faceflow.com This programme is exactly the same as skype but better, It has video conferencing. Both the sender and receiver must log into the site, become 'friends', same as skype. That's all there is to it. Oh, by the way it is cross o/s as it uses the site through a browser. Hope this helps

Video Call between 2 IP Network

Hello,
I want to establish Video Calls between 2 independant IP Telephony network, one with a CUCM 6.1, amd the other one with A Call manager system. I have a Cisco 2811 on the Call Manager side, who have a IP Public adress.
The Voice Call is working with a H323 Trunk between the Call Manager Express, who have a public Ip adress too, and the Cisco 2811.
The Video Call is not working. I Have put the IOS to configure this 2811 as a Border Element (CUBE), put I don't have any licenses?
Is it necessary to have this licenses to function the Video Calls?
Is there some special commands to perform the video call?

I've tried to use a CCME and a CUCM6 using H323 trunk, inside a LAN (1000Mbps) but there is no video.
The option "Retry Video Call as Audio " is ON
Video Capabilities is Enabled
In the Region configuration of the CCM6, the video bandwitdh is 384.
But there is no video, just voice only.

How to do a FaceTime call to your other devices?

I have an iPhone and an iPad. I carry my iPhone along with me while I'm out and iPad is at home most of the time.
I tried doing a FaceTime call at home on my iPad while I was out. But I couldn't make it as both the devices are signed in using same Apple iCloud ID.
Is there any other option? How do I do FaceTime calls within my own devices?

I just tried this and I was able to make a FaceTime call from my iPad to my iPhone and vice-versa and they are both using the same Apple ID. Note that I have updated to iOS 8 so that might be the reason. If your are still on iOS 7 then it could be that iOS 7 doesn’t handle this properly. If you are still on iOS 7 and can update to iOS 8 I can assure you that FaceTime calls between devices using the same Apple ID account is possible.

Hmm... looks like this is an issue for that email provider for some reason.
A user in a bt.com forums recommends turning off Push Emails settings.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > Turn Push Off.
Coudln't hurt to try it and see if the issue resolves itself.

Two EX90 devices can make video calls over Internet with No VCS-C and VCS-E

Dear Experts;
I have just started TelePresence and VCS 2 weeks before by going through cisco docs and videos and I had taken a risk of implementing the infrastructure elements.
We are now implementing Cisco Tele presence with VCS-C, VCS-E TMS,TCS,MCU and End points with Jabber in One setup.
and in another setup CUCM 10.5,UCCX 10.5 IM&P,Jabber with some 10 agents.
Now the question is In our same building in 2nd floor we have one EX90 and in 5th Floor one EX90 and over LAN we can make video calls using IP address.
In the same way is it possible to make a video call between 2 EX90 devices present in different location in the same city over Internet without the involvement of VCS-C and VCS-E.

The simple answer to that is NO! Where is the EX90 registered to at the moment? Is it on the VCS? or CUCM

audio calls & Video calls between sccp 8945 phones , but iam facing a Problem with third party
Video Phones (Polycom VVX 1500 ) Third Party SIP Phones located in second cluster, From 1 st cluster cisco 8945 Video
phone to 2nd cluster Polycom Video phone all calls are works for voice call only, but no video ,
Please Suggest me Solution.

Try setting up a SIP trunk between the two clusters and set a route patten just to the VVX 1500 and check how that goes.
From memory inter-cluster trunks are a H.323 like protocol which might have video inter-op issues with the Polycom device.

Will the video calling thru iphone connect to other phones?

i currently use iphone 3gs and desired to buy iphone4!but i'm doubtful whether the video calling can be done from iphone to some other mobiles! help me out!!!

At the current time, you cannot call "other mobiles", unless the other mobile is an iPhone 4 (or presumably, an iPod Touch (4th gen) which has the current version of iOS installed).
Of course, calls can be placed from/to other devices running FaceTime Beta (whether desktop or laptop OS X), but those aren't considered "mobile devices".
Now, it's reasonable to say that it may be desirable to extend the FT calling circle to other devices/platforms, but only time will tell (Apple remains tight-lipped on future plans until they're officially unveiled).

Skype Video Calling

I installed the latest version of Skype to test out video calling between our iPhone 4's and 3GS 8GB, but there is no link for "video" on the contact page - only "call" and "SMS." The other phones also have skype installed. A regular phone call does go through, but no link to video calls.
Any idea what's going on?

You can only make skype calls from within your skype app. You don't have any link to skype video calls from within your contacts page. You have to go into your skype app select one of your skype contacts that are online at that time and tap the video call button.
You can't make skype calls to any of your contacts from your phones contacts list; you have to go through skype

Low resolution of video call. lack of focus on rea...

I've got HTC One m7 which has both cameras capable of at least 720p yet maximum resolution I got using front facing camera was 7**x4** so less than 720p.
another Problem I noticed was lack of focus using rear camera, at all distances the picture was blurry, out of focus.
I'm using 5GHz WiFi on virgin's 50Mbps.
does Skype for android even support 720p video calls and if not his is it even possible?

Insufficient Funds when placing Skype (video) call

I've been statoned in okinawa japan.
I purchased the skype number so that i have state side phone number for people to call me.
I purchased the unlimited us and canada subscrition so that i may call back to anyone in the states.
I have $5.00 of skype credit (going to expire in sept). That i've never used.
I have little to no problems while trying to call from phone to phone. But when i try to do a skype to skype (mainly video call). I get the error that I have insufficent credit. I get this on my mobile phone as well as on my xbox one.
On the other end they see that i tried to call and they are able to successfully call me back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On which mobile phone are you using Skype? Are you running the latest version?
