Anywhere to find newly added countries in enhancement pack and support pack

Our HR wants to proactively identify the new countries being introduced through enhancement pack and support pack, so configurations such as V_T503Z (country assignment for employee group/subgroup) can be updated accordingly.
How can I find such a list?

If you have ever tried downloading the notes delivered under CLC or HRSP for SAP-HR Component, you would see that the sub-component names are generally based on country abbreviations example PY-AU, PY-SG etc. Also the country names are mentioned there. So if any new country comes up you would know it from the sub-component name. However, whether you need to configure anything in your system for these new countries depends on the fact whether your client has operations in that country or not and whether your project is supporting that country operations for the client or not.
It is more likely that we keep checking the CLC and HRSP for any new functionalities introduced by SAP for the countries that we are supporting for the client instead of checking for new countries altogether.

you can get the Minipack version of the products by querying fnd_product_installations or ad_patchdriver_minipks, for family packs you need to query through Metalink, OR if you have u driver file which resides on $AY_TOP/discoverer, looks for the minipacks/familypack version in the driver file.

Cant find newly added contact??

I have an iPhone 4S, just upgraded from iPhone 4 where I had the same problem:
When I add new contacts I cannot subsequently find them in my contact list. However when on of these contacts calls me my their # is recognized and the screen will display who is calling - name, just as I had entered when adding them to my list.
I have tried to search in "all contacts" and in every contact folder.... all to no avail.
Can anyone help me out?
Much appreciated in advance.

I would try searching by doing a "Search iPhone" (which you get to by swiping left from your home screen) and see where the contact shows up. (S)he must be somewhere!

Pro*Cobol Cannot Find Newly Added Field

We are running Oracle 8.1.7.4.0 on Unix, using MicroFocus cobol. We recently added a field to one of our tables, it shows up in SQLPlus and can be updated there, but when it is referenced in a cobol program the Pro Cobol compiler flags it as an error - 'undefined column'. In the compiler options we specify the userId, password and schema name. One of our DBAs looked at the schema we are referring to in the compiler options and the table shows the field is present. The server has two other instances of Oracle, neither of which has the new field added to the table. It appears that the Pro Cobol compiler is not looking at the updated schema. I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. We only use capital letters in the field names, so that isn't the problem. I guess the question I would ask is if our installation of Pro Cobol could have been set to look at a specific schema, and ignore the signon info passed as a compiler option.

K1 Cannot find newly downloaded widget in widget list and cannot start using it.

I have downloaded true weather from the googleplay website, but when I look in the widget list it's not there. If I go to applications, manage applications, downloaded, it is there but I cannot find it anywhere else to be able to move it on the home page and start using it. Where can I find it?
Rebooting the tablet didn't do any good neither.

If it's the same True Waether you are asking about, there is no widget. It's a "live wallpaper", meaning it's an animated backdround to your home screens that changes itself according to the weather in your location.
To set TrueWeather wallpaper:
1. Press the "+" at the top right of any home screen
2. Tap on Wallpaper
3. Tap on Live wallpapers
3. Choose TrueWeather (it may take a few seconds)
5. Set wallpaper

How to find a newly added filed in TRs?

i had this generic datasource which is using FM for the extraction process!
I had added one more field in the extract structure and did change the code accordingly!
i had replicated this data source in BW and when i checked in TRs for the same data source, i could not find the added field in data source!
No, it is not hidden field in DS definition either.
But in the R/3 side i could even see the field values!

go to transfer structure
select the data source Tabstrip/Tran.structure
Under Data source u find u'r new filed in the end.

hi ravi,
here is one example how to enhance.
Goto RSA6- select the 0Material.- Click on Enhance extract structure-> it will take u to the next screen there u need to create the field material group1. and append it to 0Material.
Goback to RSA6-- RC on 0material-- it will take you to customer version edit screen- here unchk the Hide and Field only known in exit options n save it.
Next Go back to RSA6-- 0material- click on Function enhancement it will take you to CMOD Screen( here we need to enter the project name and click create if not created on click display)
In the next screen we find the function exits Like EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 FOR T DATA AND EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 FRO Master Data,_003 for Text n _004 for Hierarchies.
select the appropriate function exit and double clikc on it. It will take you to Function builder screen.
D Click on defn of Include ZXRSAU01. it will take you to abap editor screen.
here u need to include the code for the enhanced fields n also write the code to populate the dat for that particular field.
save it and avtivate the code.

I am planning to take exam 1Z0-047.
I got to se the exam guide for this,(OCA Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert Exam Guide (Exam 1Z0-047)) by Steve o'hearn in market.
But it seems that syllabus of the exam is modified on 15th september 2014; and newly added topics are NOT present in the exam guide.
Below are the objectives and topics I feel are missing from the book.
Restricting and Sorting Data
Use the SQL row limiting clause**
Create queries using the PIVOT and UNPIVOT clause**
Use pattern matching to recognize patterns across multiple rows in a table**
Displaying Data from Multiple Tables
Use the cross_outer_apply_clause**
Using Subqueries to Solve Queries
Create a lateral inline view in a query**
Using DDL Statements to Create and Manage Tables
Truncate tables, and recursively truncate child tables**
Use 12c enhancements to the DEFAULT clause, invisible columns, virtual columns and identity columns in table creation/alteration**

Use explicit default values in INSERT and UPDATE statements**
We can find material on these topicsover internet(in fact I have actually worked on few of these topics already as part of my job.)
But i prefer referring to book as it helps to understand the scope.

I'm glad you found my page useful. I actually recommend 1Z0-144 over 1Z0-147. The two exams are equivalent in their results, but I feel 144 is the better exam. Also, 147 was almost retired at one point. OU backed off, but may put it back on the chopping block at any time. I wrote an article explaining why I prefer 144 here:

As to the step after that, 1Z0-146 is the obvious one to gain the PL/SQL OCP. 147/144 will only gain the OCA-level cert.
If you want to end up as a designer or architect, eventually you must get into database design, which would argue pursuing the DBA track.
Millions of transactions implies a significant requirement for performance tuning which would argue for the SQL Tuning (1Z0-117) or performance certifications (1Z0-054/1Z0-064).

You add your own property (and it'll be invisible to outlook users, not to worry).
Extended Properties allow you to define custom property on Exchange Items. And it has a
method for setting those too.
Here's a short post doing a very simple intro on using Extended Properties.

Newly added OAF region is shown in Worklist but not appearing in Email...

We have a very serious issue in our applications. We have customized Requisition Approval workflow and in the Requisition approval notificaiton, added one extra OA Framework region attribute. The region fetches some value from a custom table and renders it. This region is perfectly alright when seen from the worklist. But the email that is sent for the same notification, the region is not appearing !
We have checked a lot but unable to find what we are missing here. If it is a problem with the region, then it shouldn't appear in worklist too. The strange thing is that this was working (region was appearing in email) in one instance. When the same code were moved to another instance, it is not working (region is shown only in worklist). Please help me as this is very urgent for us.

OK, there is other way to check.
1) Take the notification framework region URL from the Workflow Mailer log ( log should be STATEMENT level)
2) and copy / paste same URL in a web Browser ( you may login as SYSADMIN user)
3) and see if newly added region comes?
Just check if you bounced the iAS after apply the changes on that instance.

How to add get the field name for a newly added site column.

I have the following:-
Enterprise wiki site collection inside SharePoint server 2013.
I added a new site column of type managed metadata.
I opened the enterprisewiki.aspx page layout using the SP designer, to add the newly added site column to it.
But I have noted that to add any site column I need to know the field name , for example the default wiki category column is referenced inside the page layout as follow:-

Newly-added field missing in the field catalog for NR00

I am about to creat condition record for condition type NR00 free goods . I need to make some customizing to meet our requirement .So I changed the field catalog for the condition table by adding a new field BWAST (purchasing document type) . After that I am going to creat a new condition table 501 with this newly-added field ,but I can't find the field in the right part for field catalog .
Can you give me some advice ? Thank you in advance.

Cursor can't find newly commited Master row

Hi all,
This is my current headache. In my form I successfully COMMIT a row in a master table. Later in the same form, same session, the user wants to add a row to a detail table. But before the user can do that, I first check to see if the master exists via a cursor look-up, and the cursor cannot find the newly added master. Does anybody know why?

After you commit the row, open PLSQL and do a query and double-check to see if the row was really inserted. If it is not there, then your form is not successfully inserting the row as you think. Check the insert routine and make sure you are checking for exceptions.
If the row is there, than again open PLSQL and debug the cursor routine.

Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account.
