AOL mail no longer showing up on my blackberry?

Sorry, total newb here.  When I got my 8530 several months ago, it was set up to show my AOL email.  For the past three days, however, it either hasn't shown up or shows up about ten hours late.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Is there an easy fix?
Thanks,
Mike

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Apple Mail no longer showing unread messages in dock

Apple Mail no longer shows unread e-mails in my dock.  I recently upgraded to 10.8.4.  The program is running and I have tried the various "Dock Unread Count" settings in Preferences.  I have also rebuilt the library envelope index files to no avail.  I have a lot of rules and over that I use to put e-mails in various folders - is it possible that the rules are interefering with the dock count even though they didn't under 10.7?

In System Preferences > Notification Center, select Mail in the left hand column, and check the box, "Badge app icon" toward the bottom on the right.

  • Yahoo Mail no longer showing up on iPhone 5

Yahoo Mail on iPhone won't show any new emails. Been a few days now. Restarted the phone several times. Deleted the Yahoo Mail account from phone and then added it back - did that twice now. All of my saved folders from Yahoo Mail show up but there is now no old or new mail in any of the folders. I cannot send any emails from the Yahoo address either.
This happened once before for like 3 days. Then I woke up one morning and all my mail was magically there.
Has anyone else dealt with this?

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.
    https://portal.smartertools.com/kb/a2659/configure-imap-for-iphone-or-ipad.aspx
    https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mobile-mail/imap-server-settings-sln4075.html
    On the iPhone, tap Settings.
    Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap your Yahoo account, then delete it.
    Tap Add Account.
    Tap Other.
    Tap Add Mail Account.
Complete the Name, Address (email address), Password and Description fields.
    Click Next.
    Ensure IMAP is selected.
Enter the following incoming mail server information:
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - Requires SSL
    Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 993
    Requires SSL: Yes
    Hostname is mail.yahoo.com.
Username is your full email address
Password is the same password used to access webmail.
Enter the following outgoing mail server information:
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires SSL
    Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 465 or 587
    Requires SSL: Yes
    Requires authentication: Yes
Username is your full email address
Password is the same password used to access webmail. It may have been entered for you.
    Tap Next.
The iPhone will establish an SSL connection to your IMAP and SMTP servers.
    That’s all!

My emails no longer show up unless I go to the mail app manually. Never had a problem before this. Help! I have shut off phone I have tried to change the time for how long the mail will show up but nothing is working

Do you mean you don't get notified of new emails automatically (eg. on the Lock Screen)?  This could be because this function is turned off in Settings > Notifications.  It could also be that the email account you use is having problems with its PUSH service, if it offers one.

  • My folders are no longer showing up in Mail

Since early this morning, I have had issues with my iCloud mail account. As of now I am able to send and receive mail fine, but the folders I used to organize messages are no longer showing up on Mail and my iPhone. Has anyone else been having issues similar to this?

I have a macbook pro 10.6.8, that cannot upgrade to Lion. My folders are gone, and now I cannot send or receive email I've tried doing what this page recommended to no avail. So far, mail is working on my iphone and my ipad, and imac, just not my old macbook pro. I keep getting a prompt to log into my mail. When I put in the password it says it doesn't recognize the password even though I'm putting in the correct password. Somebody help.

I had a MobileMe account and when Apple switched to iCloud I now have two mail accounts: @mac and @me. Additionally my folders in iCloud no longer show up in my Mail program on my iMac. How do I return to one account and see my iCloud folders on my mac?

I went to Notes.  Showed all notes.  Three notes are duplicated, one on iCloud and one on Icloud.  I deleted one of the notes and checked to see if the other still existed.  It did.  I deleted the other two notes.  I check all notes and found that the three notes were deleted on both accounts.  The only notes on this device are under On My iPad.
I went into system settings and tried to delete the Icloud account.  The warning comes up:  This will delete all IMAP notes on your device.  Will this also delete the notes in On My iPad?

  • After syncing iPad Air with iTunes the Info Page no longer shows up.  Doesn't matter if I sync via wi-fi or try another computer.  Without the Info Page how do I sync my calander/contacts/mail ??

After syncing iPad Air with iTunes the Info Page no longer shows up.  Doesn't matter if I sync via wi-fi or try another computer.  Without the Info Page how do I sync my calander/contacts/mail ??

I think there's a big ol' discussion in the Mavericks forum about this - some folks have suggested setting up your own CalDAV server so you can continue syncing without having to route things through iCloud.
It may be simpler to go back to Mountain Lion or Lion (assuming you were on either of those). My syncing computer is on Lion and can't go higher so I didn't realize until recently that USB syncing over contacts & calendars was no longer available!

  • Mail account no longer shows

    I have 7 e-mail accounts thru ATT/Yahoo.
There all work fine with one minor exception for one mail account.
The new mail (number of e-mails) does not show up in the left hand side Mailboxes in box (bullet)
There are listed when I click into the mail box (listings) with the round blue dot for new mail.
As I stated all the other 6 will snow the round bullet with the number of e-mails
Any suggestions on how to fix it.
    Greg

    Anyone  ?
Am I in the wrong section, is there another web site I can go to ?
Do I need to explain myself better ?
    Thanks,

  • Aol mail won't download

As of yesterday neither my iPhone or iPad can download aol mail. They have been working for a long time before that. I can send mail and look at what is already in inbox. It shows that it is trying download 1 of 9 emails but it never happens.

You may have a corrupt or undeliverable message preventing downloads. I would try looking at the undownloaded message on a computer and deleting them or doing something (Move) so they will not try to download on the iPad.

  • AOL Mail "My Folders" problem

If while on my iPhone I move an email from my inbox to one of my saved folders (what AOL calls "My Folders") it will stay there, as expected.  If however, while on AOL's website I move an email from the inbox to a saved folder, it will NOT show up on my iPhone.  Additionally, if I take an email that was successfully moved while on the iPhone, and move it to a different folder while on AOL's website, that email will now be gone from the iPhone...even if on the website I move the email back to the first saved folder.  In other words, if while on the website I move an email, it will no longer show up on my iPhone.  I can VERY briefly see the typical message on the iPhone that says "download xxx emails" but then it quickly goes away. This is a new problem (moving email in the past on either device had always synced correctly) and it started about two days ago.

Yeah, no problem guys. Glad it helped.
jpflorida : when you are in safari on a browser page you should notice a grey horizontal bar across the very bottom of the touch screen.  There are five symbols on this bar, equidistant, and usually in white. From left to right they are as follows: left arrowhead (back), right arrowhead (forward), "+" (the one we are using in this instance which allows you to add to home screen or to bookmark or to mail link), an open-paged book symbol (which brings you to bookmarks you have added in the past), and a double square (which you would use to open a new browser page).
midasmagoo : don't give up on AOL yet.  I also have had my AOL account for what seems like forever (over 15 years?) and still like the format better than any of the others , including my g-mail account.  Plus the nostalgia, and the "You've got mail !" welcome (which, once upon a time, used to excite me with the prospect of having an e-mail to read .... now I take a deep breath and hope it's less than 50 per day ), and the quizzical look I get when I tell people my address is AOL ("that's still around?").  Sure I've been frustrated with it from time to time (the software has had so many issues over the years).  But I still think it's the best .
I've been checking my mail via the icon since yesterday and it's ok.
    Couple of observations...
    1. when you are adding to home screen, make sure you are on the page you wish the icon to take you to from then on (for me it is the  "folders" screen in AOL mail.  This is the one most similar to what we're all used to, I think.)
But if you prefer that it always takes you to "new mail", you can certainly do that instead   --- just be on that screen when you utilize the "+"
    2. From time to time, I clean out my cache, history and cookies.
Fyi: after doing this, you will not automatically access your mail via the icon. Instead , it will take you to the AOL "sign in" screen.  At this point, entering screen name and password and checking the "remember me" box will get you back to easy access via the icon (until next time you decide to clean your browser, that is)
    3. I was able to compose new e-mails by entering the "drafts" folder.
Haven't looked further into the original problem --  maybe next week if I have time. Hopefully it'll magically fix itself before then or someone will post a solution soon for us.

  • Why is my mail icon not showing unread email messages?

For some reason, my mail icon is no longer showing my badge icon displaying the number of unread emails I have.  Within mail, next to my mailbox, it no longer shows the number of unread emails either even though there are clearly email messages with the blue dot indicating they're unread.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?
    Thanks

Open Mail, go to top and under Mail select Preferences. Click on general and make sure where it says 'Dock Unread Count, you have it set to Inbox Only or All Mailboxes, whichever you want and that it isn't set to none. If it is already set then try cetting it to none, close mail, restart, open Mail and go and change it again from none to what you want.

  • How do I use Apple Mail to read my aol mail?

When I click on mail, it askes me for the specifications for my aol account. I don't know all of them. Can anyone help me?

Aha! So, I misunderstood your situation slightly; now am I correct in thinking that you had all this old mail in a "Saved Mail" folder on AOL, and not just sitting in AOL's "Inbox" folder? If that's the case, then here's another suggestion you can try:
When you launch Mail, on the left-hand side of the Mail viewer, you've got Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash, .... do you have a grey globe with an "@" symbol in it, labeled as however you have named your AOL account in Preferences>Accounts>Description (in my case, I named mine "aim.com") with a little gray triangle to the left of it? If so, read on....
I just did a little experiment just now. When I clicked on that little gray triangle so it pointed downward, all my folders on the AOL/AIM imap server showed up. I selected one of those mailbox folders, and when I did, all the messages in there showed up in the message header viewer. I was then able to select all (⌘a) messages in one of those folders (in my case, "Sent" because I didn't have anything in my "Saved Mail" folder), and was able to drag&drop all of them into my Mail.app inbox. See if you can do that, and if that works for you. From there, I would think that you could create a child folder wherever you want, and move those messages into the newly created child folder.
    Good luck!

  • Can't send email through my aol mail on my iPad 2 after updating to iOS 7

I had to update m iPad because I was no longer able to work a lot of my apps because they kept telling me that there was an update that I had to do in order to even work my apps!  I was very reluctant to do it in the first place fearing that I would loose a lot of my pics, videos and or more!  Anyway so the other day I sat down and finally did it.  After updating my iPad 2 to the new operating system of iOS 7 now I cannot send emails through my aol mail on my iPad.  I tried putzing with the settings for smtp and to no avail nothing,  I then decided well maybe downloading the aol app would help but still not good enough because it takes up so much room that I had to delete some apps just to get it.  I had since deleted the aol app and am still trying to figure out why I keep getting the message I am getting is incorrect] hen it gives me two options which are option 1) Settings and option 2) Cancel.  I am in need of assistance here because I can receive mail but cannot send it.  Oh and I am able to send mail through my other email addresses on my iPad mail including my me.com and iCloud.com as well as two others but am not able to send through aol.  I am loosing my patience with apple very quickly as one why did I have to update the system and why am I forced to update my apps which I feel is completely ridiculous in the first place.  Everything was fine until I had to do that and now I cannot keep my iPad on for more then an hour when the battery drains so quickly now because I guess it takes up so much unneeded space!  PLEASE HELP ME!

    Hello, PriestessJeanann.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here is an article I would recommend going through when experiencing issues with mail.  The usual fix would be to delete the email account in question and add this account via the preset AOL option.  I would also recommend checking with your email provider for security procedures such as two-step verification as this could cause this issue.
