AP appear on Airspace 2000, then disappear
I am trying to get an AP 2006 running with a couple of airlap1131 a/g access points.
Using the web interface, they come up just fine, then after about two minutes, they recycle. also, the radios appear to be turned off.
any thoughts?
We are testing an air-wlc2006-k9 and 3 air-ap1010-ak9's. 1010's APs are LWAPP only.
I have noticed that the controller sometimes does not see one or more of the APs. Power cycling the APs sometimes brings them back.
We have a non-Cisco infrastructure with static VLANs.

Before working with ICloud, I made a copy of my Address Book and saved it to my desktop. When ready to import the information back to my blank address book, the data appears for a brief moment, then disappears, leaving me a blank address book. It appears something is over-riding the permanent downloading of the information. How do I solve this problem?
The Address Book data is kept in ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/Metadata (where ~ indicates your Home folder). The names of the files here aren't easy to decipher, but if you had a photo of the person with the address card then you can see their photo in icon view making it easy to identify who the card belongs to. And with any file selected and Get Info performed (Command I) you will be able to open More Information and see the phone number.
Another approach would be to copy entire AddressBook folder from the CCC drive and replace the same in your booted HD. But if you have a lot of contacts that you removed and don't want to go through that process again then it may prove easier to boot the CCC drive and open Address Book and write down those two contacts. -
Apps appear to install but then disappear
I share an Apple account with my daughters. (2 iPhones, 1 iPod). Recently, we have been unable to install 2 particular apps (4 Pics 1 Word and Instagram) to my daughter's iPod Touch. When I synch with iTunes, it shows me that the app is installed. When watching the install process on the iPod, I see it installing right up until it is complete and then the app icon suddenly disappears. On iTunes, where it shows the layout of the apps on the iPod, you see the icons but on the iPod itself, they are not there. I did a search on the iPod and it confirms the apps are not there.
I'm at a loss. I've restarted the iPod, removed and reinstalled the apps many times from iTunes, but nothing works. Do some apps only allow you to have the apps on a certain number of devices?OMG! After all the nonsense I went through to figure this out, I never imagined it would be the age restrictions I set-up! Thank you SO much. I just bumped the level up and it worked.

IPod G5 Video appears in iTunes, synchs, then disappears, repeats.
My iPod G5 connected to a Windows XP Pro system won't stay connected to iTunes. iTunes recognizes it (although the computer says the USB device is not recognized or has malfunctioned), synchs it, then drops it. It then finds it again and repeats. It worked initially but just began this new behavior after a couple of weeks away. iPod working fine on a standalone basis.
I've tried new USB port, latest software, iPod reset, etc.
Any ideas?

Photos appear only while scrolling, then disappear.
Would like to know how to reset or recover iphoto settings so photos can be viewed. Now they are hidden from view, only to be glimpsed while scrolling through Events or Photos.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Cracks appear on my iPhone then disappear??
Alright I have my iPhone 4, 16 gigs. I have had my front and back replaced due to damaging. I have the back customary made
to where it's iPhone 5 back, but yet the layer over it is glass. I had a case on, but after 3-4 days a see a random crack across the back.
I never dropped it or anything. But just today (1/22/14) that the majority of the crack is gone. What does this mean?? Is it a heat or cold

My calendars appear at launch then disappear within a minute
OS 10.4.11 iCal v2.0.5. Sync is on manual.
Calendars appear for a minute then disappear. No calendars are visible on mobilme. What is up?I am replying to myself just to post that logging out of mobile me doesn't do the trick. I had to go to program called iSync>file>preferences and unclick the sync this computer box. After I did that my calendar remained stable. I decided to sync my computer info out to .mac. I went to systempreference>.mac>advanced and clicked computer>.mac and asked it to sync. My calendar info is now out on mobile me correctly with each calendar listed and appropriate appts, but the colors are different. After doing that, my calendars on my computer disappeared so I went to iSync and unclicked the sync this computer box again. I quit iCal and reopened and lo and behold my calendars appeared and are again stable. It appears that either auto syncing or manually syncing out to mobile me screws this whole thing up. Is anyone out at MobileMe support reading this?

When I log onto ebay and go to the front page with a summary of my account, under the Watch List there are headings for all the items. As the page loads the heading for 'ended' appears in the bar, then disappears.
I've tried deleting the tab; removing cookies, but it keeps happening. This is only on my Apple imac, using Firefox - on my Windows using Firefox it's fine.mixalis88,
I appreciate the suggestion, but that did NOT fix the problem. I, however, HAVE fixed the problem...I now use Google Chrome as my browser.
It may not be perfect, but it correctly displays the websites I visit most, and I dont get that Goddamn annoying re-direct page in Google like I do in FF.
I use to LOVE FF...but until they work out the bugs, I'm done with it. -
please help i need to fix my itunes it will not launch on my computer . no error message appears it simply will not run. the icon on desktop has changed to a white folder and it still appears in programmes in start menu but will not open. it appears in task manager but disappears when the programme will not open
You music etc should not be affected by problems with the iTunes program, nevertheless it is always a good idea to backup your data.
You haven't said if there was any error message when you tried to start iTunes. If there was one please give it in full.
Also check to see if QuickTime works, iTunes can not work without it. If QuickTime doesn't work, it has to be fixed before worrying about iTunes.
Then restart your PC and open your Task manger and select the Processes tab.
Try to start iTunes, does iTunes.exe appear on the processes tab? If so does it disappear again or remain although the programs does not open? -
I have an iphone 4S and i cant download apps onto it. Everytime I click to install, the icon appears on the homescreen with 'waiting' under it and then disappears. Can anyone help? Its driving me mental!

I am experiencing difficulty with iPhoto '11. Some of more recent photos can not be accessed. As I scroll down the page of photos, the most recent ones appear briefly, then disappear to be replaced with a box outlined by a broken-line. The menu bar says that I have 317 photos hidden. Hiding photos is not something that I normally do, can't imagine why these are hidden. Anyway, when I try to unhide the photos, I can view them as an event, but if I click on a single photo, or try to move it into an album, the photo does not display. Instead I get a dark exclamation point within a triangle. Another problem with these same photos is on the event page there is no key photo for these events only a dark screen. I can't find an answer to my problem. Has anyone experienced this? What is the problem and how can I correct it?
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.

My iPod player within my iPhone isn't working properly when playing videos it will start then stop after a few seconds and also the sound bar appears then disappears, and when playing music no sound is coming out when I'm on a call I can hear everything properly and also on loud speaker! What can I do to remedy this? Please help!!!
If you haven't tried it yet, I'd eliminate memory issues first. Close all of the apps with the double tap on the home button method

I have an ipod nano 7th generation and can not get it recognised by my Windows 8.1 laptop (it appears briefly on My computer, then disappears). This happened after I updated iTunes to the latest version. Does that have something to do with it?

For some inexplicable reason, Safari 5.1 will not open in Windows 7. It appears in task manager briefly and then disappears. No windows open; I have tried everything. Any ideas??
I fixed the issue. It was related to the DEP settings on my windows machine.

Iphone 4s won't boot on and itunes doens't detect it when on battery. Plug it in and Apple logo appear then disappear, try to recover, but there's a 1602 error. Is it dead?
Its weird, when I plug it into wall AC, I was able to boot into the home screen, but there's wifi cant turn on. Plug out the phone turn off immediately. I tried to jailbreak it with snowbreeze because someone has the same problem with his iphone 4, but snowbreeze doens't work with iphone 4s.
